My daughter used your app to reserve a truck. When we got there to pick up we couldn't get app to work so we could pick up. So went inside, which the app said they wouldn't be open, to have them help. Well he said ya that happens sometimes I will take care of it in here. Well it ended up costing me $100 more, yes $100 more then what the app said. I had to pay it because she had to have the truck. I will find other means then uhaul next time for sure. Unhappy customer

Came into this location to get a ten foot truck and a tow dolly for a long distance move from Indiana to Florida. From the other UHAUL we went to beforehand they said they could price match. At this location the worker was very clueless. He called someone about price matching and they said he could price match just change the price. It took the employee over an hour to figure out how to price match and he only figured it because I showed him how. When it came to loading the car in the tow dolly he was also very clueless. I put the straps on the driver side and he put the straps on the passenger side. I asked the worker if I should leave my car in neutral as I tow it and he said yes but still didn't seem certain. After driving for six hours, I pulled over at a gas station around midnight and noticed the straps on the passenger side (the side the employee did) were off. I knew it would be a danger to not only me and my girlfriend, but to other vehicles on the road too. Due to this, my girlfriend and I had to stay at a hotel until we could go to a UHAUL in the morning to get the car strapped again. In the morning, we went to the other UHAUL in Kentucky and the workers there redid the straps on the car but now my car battery was dead due to the worker telling us to leave it in neutral when towing. The employee in Kentucky told us we should have left the car in park since it's FWD. The employee at the Fort Wayne location was very clueless and caused us several issues during our trip due to his negligence and poor training.

I think he did his very best to help me. I rented the trailer on line as well as having the app. on my phone, I also printed the recpt. from the website and gave him that copy to use. He asked me to hitch the trailer to my truck, which I did. When I brought the trailer back, their was another trailer in its spot so I pulled into the drop off area, I was then asked, by a different employee to unhook the trailer myself, which I did. My email ended up with 7 emails, duplicates with everything and 3 recpts. This is not what I have experienced at this location in the past, so I will try them again.

Andrea RI had rented a dolly but it was not in the U-Haul when I picked it up. I think if is very important that the rented extras be in the U-Haul so that people doing self checkout do not leave without everything they paid for.
VICKI PVery disappointing first experience! Received email stating reservation was changed to truck share and can pick up truck hour before set time. Got to location and message said equipment not available, waited over half hour for store to open. Manager said closing people didn't do job, then was unable to scan license(no scanner) so I had to scan on phone. No discount offered for inconvenience! Drop off was much better but not a good experience. Chose this location because was only opening on day we needed. Another customer had same problem as we waited for store to open. Definitely went be coming back to this location and NOT Recommending to anyone!
Rowland PEmployees didn't seem to know how to hook up the trailer. Door of trailer was left open allowing leaves and debris to gather inside prior to rental. Trailer was missing several floor anchors making strapping heavy equipment difficult. Brake on 6x12 trailer was very noisy.

Stan HNot make your customers fill up almost an entire tank of gas when the truck they received only had less than a quarter tank. Un needed extra expense at the end user and very frustrating. Also the online quotes are less than half what you actually pay at the end. I will not shop here again. Too expensive and way to much of a hassle. Not worth the time.

Thomas RI picked up a trailer on Sunday morning 02/04. There was only one person working in the store, and he was already waiting on two customers by himself. He was doing his best to help out one family, while it looked like he was just finishing up with another lady. During this time, he's also answering phone calls from customers and managing it all extremely well and with a great attitude. As I was waiting, another lady came in complaining that she didn't have a paper copy of the contract. The employee explained that there printer wasn't working, and then it began - this lady did everything she could do to complain, yell, belittle, and just generally berate and "bait" the employee to engage in confrontation. The employee handled it in the best way possible. She was yelling at him and complaining loudly - and every time she did, the employee shut her down by simply being direct and polite, in a very professional manner. Keep in mind, this employee is now waiting on the first guy, this lady, now me, and almost non-stop phone calls. I don't know this employee, but he showed MANAGEMENT skills above and beyond working at the counter at UHaul. Polite, professional, friendly, hard-working and helpful. I'm an upper-level manager, and would love to have people like this!

ALSO, make the correct marking for gas level when starting rental, I filled it to the level when I started my rental and have a pic of it. My bill reflects I owe another $40 plus for the difference. I hope there is no problem correcting my bill.

Staff at this location at 1:00pm 1/6 weren't providing any direction to the line of returning vehicles that was backed up into the street, and offered little resolution when I offered to use the app to return, they just kind of shrugged like they could not be bothered. Team member who worked the morning shift for pickup was exceptional as always, but was very dissatisfied with the afternoon staff on return.

flora hI have always patronized Uhaul fir moving and storage. However this experience has been the worse. The staff at Washington Blvd, FtWaybe IN talks down to paying customers. Worse I rented larg storage unit and each time I checked in there was evidence of mouse infestation. Swept dead adult mice out of doorway on two occasions and upon moving out found shredded mouse nesting in my clothing, bed linens and upholstered sofa. They ripped apart stored paper towels and books and set up camp in my belongings. Dead baby mouse carcass under sofa cushion and mouse droppings and urine stains. Pics document proof of infestation. I really would like Uhual to take responsibility by footing the bill for professional steam cleaning, disinfecting and sanitization of my furnishing....not to.mention the loss of certain items I just threw into the trash. The smell.of urine and droppings is horribke nowcthat my furniture and belongings are in mew apartment. The deeply affect me as I suffer from severe asthma associated with animal dander and droppings such as cat litter box that is not kept cleaned and cleared of waste. I will.be reaching out to corporate for a resolution. Otherwise; my experience would have been flawless as it has been in past years.

When I returned from vacation I was sent several emails stating I had not paid my monthly fee and had serious charges for late fees. I had my receipt and the person at UHaul did not print all of my receipts but it had that I had paid early. The lady was rude and told me " next time you will have to pay late fees"! I politely told her that I would not be paying for any mistakes they made in the future and that I would probably be moving my things to another storage place. I have had my unit for many years and has always paid.

I was trying to get a storage unit to move into that day and there were a couple other options that were open on Sunday. I'm on a really tight schedule and lost a critical day due to this error. Staff in store was unable to contact their GM to resolve the situation at the time and stated that GM had limited availability the next day to get a resolution. Thus far I've spent over 30 minutes of my work day on Monday on hold in the hopes of getting this resolved. Seems unlikely, hoping for a refund at this point.

I purchased from U Haul all my moving supplies needed to pack up my home. They had so much to choose from I did not have to go anywhere else to get one single item. I rented a Truck for a one-way trip that process went much smoother than I thought it would. I was also able to get a dolly and packing cloths to cushion my furniture and glass table tops for a very small fee. Then finally I rented a storage unit in the new city I moved to; it was large enough to hold all my furniture, household items, clothes & boxes. And the 1st month was free of charge!! By now I am exhausted from the move and I originally was supposed to drop off the truck at a different location closer to my new home. However, they allowed me to return it at the U Haul storage location. U Haul made this overwhelming move to a new city smooth, calm and friendly. Mind you I just buried my Mom a few days prior. I received excellent customer service from 3 different locations. With my Mom's death my emotions were on edge not to mention all the work to move to a new city. U Haul is to be commended on how much they helped a single women and I admit I was a emotional mess the entire time. I am so grateful to all the staff and I want U Haul Management to know JOB WELL DONE! A very satisfied customer, Patricia
