It was a pleasure using your U-Haul storage. Staff was always pleasant and very helpful and I would use U-Haul storage facility again wasn't working anymore so I couldn't afford to pay for my storage bin so I had to remove my items and U-Haul was very understanding and professional. Thanks again.

The hardest part was figuring out to get to the interior units. The doors were not labeled. It was quite confusing especially during the evening.

Ron was a PHENOMENAL help to me. The storage was my mother's who recently passed away. Ron helped me through the process of closing out that part of her life. It was terribly emotional and even though Ron didn't know me, he was sooo supportive, so helpful. I was super grateful for him.

I did not appreciate the way I was treated at the very end of our agreement. First, when trying to move out I was refused a truck in which left me with 45 minutes to move out.. My 72 year old mother helped.. shameful, Not only was the exit a bad experience the beginning when trying to adjust the payments because the rental cost double every month for me. With the accumulating fees. Not to mention it did not have to be as disregarding of a exit. to smile in someone's face an intentionally do what was done I will never use another UHaul storage facility. I am speaking of only three individuals. If you call I will further explain.. Mad forever..with the storage experience.

I was kind of frustrated in the beginning because no clear direction or instructions was given by the U-Haul online or the where I got the U-Haul truck from. No one could find my reservation. At the U-Haul truck place or storage unit. So the check in took long

The location I had my storage at closed early on Friday and I needed to talk to someone and there was no one available during the last hour it was supposed to be open. Other than that I had no problems.

The location did not have staff full-time, which was inconvenient. But the facility was well-maintained and clean when I did see staff they were helpful.

The lady the was there didn't want to do anything to assist me. She acted as if I was bothering her, this was the first time I had a storage unit and didn't know much about it. The other employees that worked for the company was friendly and helpful.

The ability to contact uhaul customer service could us some adjusting and work. There were often too many different phone numbers and lanes of communication that made calling in difficult. But my experience has been good nonetheless.

I came in to check in for my storage unit, and there were around 8 employees milling about but none were helping any customers. I think it was right between shifts, but still it seemed like one of them should have been helping me and other customers. Staff were unprofessional.

Door lock handle was rusty as well as had damage done to it as if it was broken into before !! Was told there would be a lock instead the storage room and there wasn’t !

When I went to close out my unit on 8/19/22, no one in the office appeared to know the process. It took a while for them to figure out the process and get everything completed.

It would be great if u-haul would consider offering the guests 24 hourly rentals upfront instead of the 6 hours of rental upfront. The first time I rented the 17' u-haul I thought 6 hours was my only option. Thank you!!

The unit I have to too small (a fault of my own). When I opened the storage unit there was no lock in the unit. There was no one in the office at 4:30pm when I arrived. I called the 800 number on the reservation at try to get a larger unit. I was placed on hold for 30mins until I hung up and called back to be left on hold again. No one answered after explaining my issue. It started to get dark i went ahead and put as much stuff in the ubit as possible. I called a third time to get a lock to close the unit. I was told I had to go to another location to retrieve a lock. The communication of this location is unsatisfactory. I have yet to get in contact with some to get a larger unit.

Outside units need lights but other than that it was perfect. I would like to thank the young lady that got me moved in the and young man that got me moved out. Only issue I have as well is when I went to remove my items there was an additional lock added to my storage unit that's not supposed to be there until after the 5. It was placed on before the 31

The vehicle was extremely clean but the driver’s side mirror was cracked.

The gate to the storage unit does not close. Security in a new area is important and not feeling that your stuff is secure is not a good feeling. Also the gentlemen that helped me did not know what he was doing so it took over an hour to secure my 30-day free storage unit which I was entitle to because of a 1-way trailer rental. However I was charged for a 2nd month and have yet to be reimbursed even though I was told the 2nd month would be reimbursed when I closed my unit. That is done, where is my reimbursement?

The truck is in poor driving condition. Definitely in need of service and shouldn't be hard to operate because of lack of maintenance. It wasn't clean there was trash inside of the truck so this lets me know it was NOT SANITIZED or cleaned.

Need better customer service, more staff, organization, and management! Gave wrong truck with wrong mileage, and gas range, one person working there, long wait, unresolved issues that person had to actually write down information for manager. Payment was not made while I was there. I had to receive a call from office after I left for my to receive the total amount to be withdrawn from my cc from their screw ups! Really bad customer service and parking lot was congested and took a while to enter and exit. There was no other worker on site, but the lady in the office who was incompetent with a lack of authority or help!

Very, very tight driving a 26' truck and pulling an auto transport through the property. Staff was very helpful when I asked for two trucks to be moved in order to facilitate leaving the property.

The added a lock to my account because they said I got one! Really when? How do yiu just add things without authority? This is my purse NOT YOURS! I hated the trucks in front of my unit. No discount for me keep asking you to move it out of my way. Adding chores to my day!

The vehicle return policy should be thoroughly explained and the need to be at the rental location at the time of return and that photos will need to be taken of the fuel hand and the mileage before putting the keys in the key slot.

These folks work hard to provide the support needed for you to get your work done quickly with the right equipment. Check-in and check-out is fast and accurate. I like these people.

When we first tried to change rooms, we were given a smaller unit instead of the larger one we requested. We finally got that straight and Robin, the manager, compensated us accordingly. Lights were often not lit. Many times there was only one person working and they weren't always in the office because they had to lock it to go assist another customer. When we called to ask questions we were often not helped until Robin could be reached. It seems like others do not have the same knowledge or access. Although she too had to contact Robin first, Maya was helpful in getting us closed out after we spoke to another employee who was less than helpful. All in all, of experience was fair.

original experience from when i walked in the Forestville location and proceeded to check in with my prebooked reservation, Was all around poor. However i will say the guy at the front desk was new and he was nice! Outside of that I'm paying this first month and then Taking my stuff out of that storage!!!!!! I've had better experiences elsewhere, unfortunately for me The place next door (self storage didn't have a unit big enough for me at the last minute! But whatever!

The general manager there, Robin, was very responsive and totally deficient in helping me with my first time storage experience. However, James punctuated my closing experience and was very helpful anytime I needed help to out my storage experience and with my storage needs. Moved out Feb 29. Bill date was Feb 28. Talked to someone who assured me I wouldn't be billed for March. THEY DID! Tried calling several times, only to get an answering service (this is during weekday business hours). All I could do was leave a message for an actual person from the Forestville,MD U-Haul to give me a call. They NEVER got back with me. I was a loyal customer for FOUR years, and they couldn't even forgo a payment for ONE DAY. This is not how you treat a 'valued' customer. I will never do business with U-Haul again. I don't like greedy companies, nor people who disregard their customers and go back on their word.

My storage unit had mine droppings and dead mouse. I hired a professional moving company, they had to move my items in an unsanitary and unsafe environment. Those items were loaded and transported on their company's truck, then placed in my newly built home. I'm very unhappy, experience was awful.

No carts were available to help with moving items from the truck into the storage areas. Without Carts using the facility was very difficult.
