That along with the $19,99 a day to rent, a $39 rental fee and the mileage charge, I will have to find another U haul in the area that doesn't have the increased insurance rate because a uhaul is a uhaul in terms of customer service.

RONALD KLEINRented a motorcycle trailer from this location last weekend. The first assigned trailer's brake lights didn't work and the employee would not resign himself to the fact that they didn't, citing that 'it worked yesterday'. He tried replacing adapters and even used a wrong one, luckily not damaging my harness in the process. He also suggested I take the trailer out even though the brake lights didn't work, suggesting that they may start working eventually while I was driving (???). After it was confirmed by another U-Haul employee that the trailer's lights were in fact non-operational, I was given a second trailer that was tested good. Upon installation of the trailer onto my hitch, the initial employee clumsily scratched the rear bumper of my brand new 2024 vehicle with the trailer arm while attempting to connect it. The manager, Samantha, inspected and rightfully, apologetically promised to reimburse me for a replacement part. The second trailer used was in great shape and towed as expected.

Another incident I was at the counter waiting for service and 4 associates were outside side talking while I waited 10 minutes, they didn't help until I went out and got them, I like Uhauls services which I use 6-5 times a year, I won't use location ever again and may look for a different provider

To be blatantly asked how can we not know where it is 1 your job to assist us. 2 be polite and professional. As a Walmart corporate Mgr I move alot with extended times in an area. Your rates went up drastically from account opened to closed. Your staff are a reflection of management, perhaps time for a change or deep look at turn over metrics. We asked about account reduction since we used half a month. We were told not my job or department. Office staff is the worst I've seen,that falls on management. Lastly we missed or even late in 4 years. Glad I'm not a uhaul Corporate manager to evaluate. If I was I'd remove all staff and the Management team. Lastly to charge us a full month at half month one would think be extended. Thank you for your unprofessional,courtesy with less then helpful staff.

Also, they'll charge you for a whole month after you moved out, even though you checked out on the day your monthly payment is due with plenty of free units still available. So now they're collecting rent twice on the same unit. I will not be renting a storage unit from them from now on nor will I recommend.

The only reason I did not select excellent is the security. While we have to punch in a code for security, I would put in my code and frequently when I opened my unit, the alarm would still go off. The alarm is in place, but seemed to not serve a purpose as it would go off and nothing else would occur. For the short time I was there it was okay, and I was in and out of my unit weekly, so I was able to check on my belongings. If I had to leave it there without checking in on it for a period of time, I don't know if I would have kept my belongings there.

We found out, after waiting on hold for 30 min., that our reservation was switched to where we reserved our storage unit. We were never informed, but the customer service representative on the phone insisted we were. I was looking at my messages; I was not. After taking care of the truck, the unit we reserved was not saved for us. The only reason we got a unit was because someone called to cancel their reservation while we were in line. Never will we go through U-Haul again.

I requested a refund, was told the GM was 99 % sure I could get one but she had to check with corporate and would give me a call back the next morning. I did not receive a call back so I went in to the store but the GM was not there (surprise) even though I was told she's be opening the store that day. I was told that storage was down nationwide so a staff wrote my name and phone number down and said she'd have the GM call me Monday morning to resolve my issue. I did not receive a call on Monday so I called the store and was on hold for 50 minutes. The representative that I spoke with entered an action claim and said someone would call me within 24-72 hours. I have not received a call but I did receive an emailed receipt showing that I was not charged for the storage unit, however I paid for it and I still have not received my refund or a call from any manager.

I was told I could drop the truck off at the Uhal facility but then told I was charged 150 for leaving it there. Returned the truck to the correct facility. I was charged twice for the rental.

According to staff, the elevator had broken the day before but the technicians had not been called out until that day to come fix it. The stairs do not lead easily to an exterior door, so my moving crew was stuck for an extra hour and a half carrying all of my belongings up and down the stairs and were unable to do an additional project later in the day as a result.

The unit was filled with mice turds and had chewed through multiple boxes and damaged my property. The manager there was particularly obnoxious and made no effort to return my money. If the staff remains the same, I would be sure to anyone inquiring to NEVER store their belongings there. A month later and I'm still having to throw items out, including expensive wool coats for being chewn or finding mice turds on items and throwing them away. Mice turds contain Hantavirus and the amount in my unit could cause an immune compromised individual like me serious health effects, including death

The manager will never call you back and you better be prepared to fork out more money to them if you cannot move out before your month end. Other facilities said they had no problem if I moved out a few days after the end of month without charging me but not this one. So now not only do they get a little over $300 from me but they just turn around a re-rent the the two units I had to someone else and collect double money. Don't bother to try to work it out with them because they will say that it is out of their hands which is not true. If I'm ever in the area again I will not be using their services nor do I recommend them to anyone else.
