The appliance dolly I rented was really bent to the top side portion and made it annoying and harder to move my fridge. I hadn't noticed it until I got home. I own a regular dolly but decided to rent one to make moving my fridge easier. Unfortunately I could've just used my own and saved the $10, because it was just as hard. When I told the manager after returning, he basically didn't care and said because I used it, it had served its purpose and was unwilling to discount the rental. He was a young man and spoke in a way that could care less. U-Haul is great and never have a problem, but this wasn't the same experience. I'll go back because I know this isn't the companies fault, but rather poor management.

The pricing was not fully explained so a $20 truck driven locally to 1 stop was close to $100. Why not not just say that.

The guy who rented to me treated me like I didn't qualify to rent a car. The guy when I returned the car made me walk out in the rain to pull the truck under the awning so he wouldn't get wet. He actually said so I don't get wet. My last time using UHaul.

Friendly staff, fast and easy pickup and return. Accidentally over filled tank and the only improvement would be to offer a couple bucks off instead of just having customer lose out.

Suggestion to create a reminder to the reservation asking if you have a the supplies, equipment you need to make your easier. I forgot to reserve the appliance dollie, and bubble wrap. When I got to my location to pick up the U-Haul, I realize that I didn't have a dollie, and unfortunately they did not have any appliance dollies at that location. They had already rented the ones they had. so therefore, I had to locate on my own an appliance dollie add another location.

I dont think I should be charged for a second day when I turn a trailer in the same day I was supposed to but it was after hours. I was 2 hours past your closing and it was not going to be rented out to anyone. I am not mad, I just think overall it is bad business to do this.

Awesome customer service. A little bit of a wait time but not too bad. The person that reserved the truck for me was very polite and quick and obviously knew what he was doing. The truck was in perfect condition. And Chad, the person that helped me when I returned the truck was very friendly and efficient. Also, the price was great. Will always use U-Haul for my moving needs. Merci!

I have rented trucks before and this truck has absolutely no suspension. Never drove a vehicle that gave me a bad headache and my eyes and chest hurt from the suspension being hard. I'm truly surprised my furniture didn't get broke.

The only thing I would suggest for this location to be outstanding, is that the stuff need to be more friendly. Things like say "hi" whe you enter to the store or smile, makes a great difference. All of the rest was fantastic

Make night return easier. I downloaded the app just like the sign said, but there was no "Return Equipment " tab when I downloaded it and tried to drop it off over night. The sign at the night drop off said I will be charged a "service fee" if I don't use the app to return the vehicle, I tried to use the app, there was no "return" option, and I got charged extra. This is very unprofessional, if y'all want me to download the app to return, make it where it works. I will not be recommending anyone to this location, or probably U-Haul at all. There are cheaper, more convenient options.

I tried to get the trailer by my house in Humble Texas and was so frustrated with the place ( at Will Clayton and highway 59) I left and got the trailer in Katy The man in Humble couldn't speak English he would talk into his phone and have it translate to English for me to read. The place smells like urine it was awful

Mike and his staff do a good job of keeping the place clean and functional. There is always paper in the restroom and people are always visible helping customer get done what they need to do.

I ordered a hitch and tow package installation. Turns out I didn't need the tow package install and was refunded my money. I am very grateful this business didn't try to take advantage of me. Also, the employees were very nice and showed me how the tow hitch went on the vehicle and where the 7 way and 4 way electrical connections were already installed on my vehicle.

This storage company has been amazing. I went through a very difficult time. They were able to work with me. I stored my things you can definitely trust their Security system. My overall experience is okay. The ONLY staff I want to acknowledge is CHAD. It is the reason I chose the option that the staff is helpful & the reason I gave it 3 stars. Chad is an amazing hard worker & actually cares about the customers unlike others who work there including the manager. The management there is TERRIBLE!!!!!!! He seems very racist & he is the only reason I will NOT be returning to U-Haul or recommending them to anyone!!!! I hope this facility can do a better job in the future for the customers.

I don't understand that you pay all of this money every month Rich go up on you without notice and then you move out almost a month early but they've already taken their payment there is no refunds available prorating that month that's robbery. Will never use U-Haul again there are other options out there. And when you ask employees about a refund they almost laugh at you.

Thank you for 8 years of great service. Through all the weather events that occurred during that time, the facility remained operational and weather tight. Our items were as clean and in excellent condition after those 8 years as when we first stored them. Operating hours provided easy access to our unit. Staff were always friendly and very helpful.

Only complaint is that the door would get stuck and the latch was damaged from them cutting off a lock before I moved in. I reported it when I moved in, again half way through my rental and again when I moved out.

Unfortunately, my unit looked like the previous lock had been cut off and damage was done to the slide. I was told my lock would be inside but it wasn't. Also, the door didn't close properly. When I reported it they gave me a lock but I don't know that they actually made a record of the problems.

The Associates at this location are absolutely amazing! When I tell you these guys have an excellent group of men and women working here I mean it. I had to deal with about 4-5 different people and they were all so so so nice and professional and helped me and my partner out so much. They are so kind it's almost scary lol. No but they are a perfect group of people and will definitely be doing more business with them. Thanks You Guys y'all made my move from Louisiana to Texas very smooth and easy.

I've used this facility for various storage and shipping needs for years and I've simply just agreed to not give them anymore of my time, money, nor energy but I've been sent two messages requesting a review of my experience and now a text message so here's MY REVIEW: My storage unit experience comes after making multiple attempts to reach and discuss matters with the general manager Mike in order to keep my storage unit and personal items in my possession while going through extreme hardship inclusive of but not limited to death in my family, homelessness, and COVID … many other encounters I've have at the facility with staff have been pleasant and my issues at the facility prior to were always addressed with friendly, helpful, and accommodating staff; until my encounter with the facility manager, Anthony who was rude, unprofessional, and downright ugly. I explained I wanted to bring my account current as it was past due, I had the funds but I needed gas to door dash and try to get me a room versus sleeping in my car that night. He expressed that he didn't want to waive any late fees and it was his discretion to do so. While I understand this is a business, the lack of care and human compassion for a fellow human and customer who had consistently used their equipment and services but paid any late fees consistent when I have been late was beyond me. I didn't want to sleep on the street so I kept my payment and requested to speak with his supervisor which never happened, I paid on the unit with late fees later but then it continued to get behind when eventually my car was inoperative and my means to secure income unavailable . Ultimately leading to my unit accumulating $1400 balance to which I had 1 000 to pay towards when it finally reached auction status. The general manager, Mike Capps still hadn't returned any calls nor answered my emails until the day my unit was scheduled to go to auction. The facility manager, Anthony read a monthly general email that I received and replied to in which I addressed to the general manager and expressed my distaste and experience with the facility manager and complained about not receiving a call from the general manager in the multiple attempts to keep and pay on my storage unit account to no avail up until this point I had merely requested a call regarding my unit. To my shock and dismay, the facility manager, Anthony placed a call to me and inform me he read my complaint about him and was I going to pay my unit or just complain. I didn't see any point on being called and harassed at this point so I sent another email and received a request to call Mike's mobile, I questioned if this was Mike the general manger I had been emailing and I wasn't sure if the person really was Mike since I hadn't ever received a reply nor spoken to him all this time and on the cusp of Anthony making me aware he reads the emails. He responded, abruptly yes this is me, I gave you my cell phone so now tell me what's the issue? I responded with excuse me, clearly this goes across the board (referring to the rudeness and unprofessionalism). To which, he rephrases, how can I help you? I informed him of the incidents and he attempted to state that Anthony referencing waiving fees was at his discretion was not true and defended the behavior and handling of me with the comment that this is a business, rather than argue with two people who were being purposefully obtuse and rude; I simply asked for Mike's supervisor's name and contact information. It was a moot point and in the end it can be a coaching moment or just another undocumented unseen infraction against Katy Fry Rd's Uhaul customers. I was told I'd get an access code rather than I needed to pick up an access card before 8pm to enter my storage unit. Spoke to very rude and unprofessional gm Mike ( I can't believe this is UHauls rep for a GM). Supervisor Sabrina was VERY helpful and customer service oriented in the process. I missed my event out of town because I couldn't drop drop my belongings in the storage unit as a result. Things happen, however, rudeness from management should be zero tolerance policy. He was so rude and nonchalant that my fiancé grabbed the phone. This can't be an isolated issue with his behavior and the company will lose profit by accepting and tolerating his behavior.

Great customer service from each staff! However, I have to give a special kudos to Lindsay, who assisted me practically every time I visited their store! Lindsay was always very pleasant, professional, and helpful!! If I ever need a storage unit again, this is the location I would use! They made everything so convenient! Our first assigned storage unit had a large cement beam, running floor to ceiling, taking up needed space (there should be a note to the customer when assigning these units ensuring the customer is ok with the loss of space). The second unit we were assigned had a spill that needed to be cleaned up before we moved our stuff in. This was disappointing considering the unit was supposedly inspected. The cleaning lady also had a bit of an attitude when we requested the spill be cleaned which furthered our frustration. Other than that, the facility overall and customer service was great.

The problem is the staff can't locate my records. I had a one way move from New Jersey to Houston. U-Haul offered one month free storage (month of June). I thought I'd need more space, so I also rented one. I didn't use either (as it turns out). So, yesterday I tried to cancel both for July. Whoever I talked to couldn't locate my records. I particularly selected this facility because of its location, and it had a first-floor unit available. So, I jumped at the opportunity and reserved it. Unfortunately, when I arrived that was not the case. The first-floor unit I reserved was no longer available even though that is the one I reserved. I made the selection on 6/10 and selected the earliest move in date 6/23. Almost 2 weeks later. Because I already waited almost 2 weeks, I was not able to wait until a unit on the first floor was available again. While speaking with one of your employees I asked how to get a first-floor unit and he told me I can either call back occasionally, or go through the reservation system again, well that didn't work the first time around why would I do that again so I will be calling to get the unit I originally reserved the first time. Then having to take time and finding people to help move the items again. Being in the customer service industry I know not to promise something that I can not deliver.

The breaks on the truck was a huge safety concern for us driving from Florida to Texas. Just glad the load wasn't heavier, there were a lot of times the truck just didn't stop when the brakes were applied. It needs some serious maintenance! Please fix the truck!

For five years my biggest complaint was employees constantly taking up parking spaces at the loading dock. Unfortunately we had to find out that the Security is a joke as my storage was broken in to and thousands of dollars of work equipment was stolen. U-Haul corporate and this location not willing to help us at all. What good is monitoring every storage unit and having cameras if you're not willing to help the people who get ripped off? Based on the way our stuff was stolen it would appear to be an inside job.

No gas on the truck I almost ran out of gas. They gave me $12 discount saying that I needed to bring it back with a quarter of a tank know it takes at least $45 to get that truck to a quarter of a tank. Then say they wouldn't charge me for an extra day because I had one of my movers get sick on me and couldn't unload the truck until the next day so was 2 hrs late getting the truck back. But then say they have to charge me. The female worker I spoke to was beyond rude. Never again will I use U-Hal. Mind you in the last 2 months I rented 3 U-Hal trucks.

Overall I had a pleasant experience with UHAUL. Unfortunately, I noticed that employees tend to park at the loading area, making it very difficult to pull your car or trailer up to unload/load. I would visit my unit several times a year, and always saw the same two cars parked there. One evening I noticed it was two employees getting into the cars.

The staff needs to be a bit more aware of parking heir personal cars in the shade of the loading dock. I was there for 5 hours, and most of the time on the short side of the dock there was an unused u-haul truck and two employee vehicles, leaving only one available for your customers. I've rented trucks for uhaul for years and just recently decided to rent a storage unit as well. I have had my unit for around 2 months and was offered my first month free since I also rented a truck. Now, 2 months later, the one month free was never honored and I was charged over $100 each month. The most concerning problem is that I was 1 day late on my second month payment and I went to my storage unit over a week later and they had locked me out of my unit for a missed payment although I paid it a day after it was due and because they closed early, there was no one to unlock it. I asked why I was locked out and they told me they did not know why there was still a lock on my unit because "they update their system daily" and should have taken the lock off a week ago when I paid. This was a huge inconvenience and due to the poor management and awful customer service skills of all of the employees, except for one young man who I did not get the name of, (and Mike the manager is AWFUL) I will absolutely never use uhaul for any reason ever again. It may just be this location but I'm not willing to risk it again with any location.

The only complaint I have is the employees were always parking in the unloading shaded spots. At times, I couldn't park to load or unload because they were taking up most of the spots. I've seen them eating in their vehicles while parked in the loading spots. I've mentioned this to the management several times, still happens. Into the day I moved out.

Had a few times when my access card didn't work after hours, but called Customer Service and problem was fixed. Also, the waiting time to talk to someone at the front desk takes around 15-20 minutes which is too long.

I paid for 24 hour access and wasn't able to use it but once. The keypad never worked and I was continually told it would be fixed in "two weeks". They once tried to blame me and told me my card must have been erased by my phone, but even the new card didn't work. Also, the cost of the storage unit is ridiculous compared to the area storage units. I moved to a new one, same size unit at $50 a month, dumpster, 24 hour access and pin number access all included for every storage unit. No extra fees needed.

Someone was in my unit, boxes knocked over, glassware broken. Hand and footprints on wall above unit divider. Elevator had issues. Quit working occasions once with me in it. Very bad experience!

Can't say enough about the staff at this uhaul center. I've rented 7 6x12's, a 26 ft truck, and a storage room from them in the last 7 months, zero problems, polite and competent staff. Well done.
