Recently downloaded/up-to-date app couldn't seem to track my location so I couldn't self check-in. Thankfully, the shop was still open for another 10mins and the crew was on it immediately. Got me set up and out of there in 5 mins. Phone model: Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Wasn't my first choice of location. When someone reserve a location you should have that equipment there or get it there. This location was 27 miles from the location when I reserved the trailer.

Rude and they ripped me off with my rental on my miles I was told I could rent for a month with 3000 miles for free and then 25 days into the rental they told me I needed to return the rental and they are trying to charge me 0,79 cents a mile for all the miles

Pickup at the site was fast and simple, I have been at this site renting before over the last several years. The equipment was well maintained, and did what I wanted it to. Returning the equipment was a little challenging. It took me an hour to return the truck. I was in contact with Uhaul National, had to request a link to return the truck, could not go back and forth between getting a onetime code to use on my phone, and I was hung up on by one of the customer service reps. This is the first time I have had difficulty returning after hours.

Fulfill your obligations. I arranged for a 7am pickup; someone forgot to put the key in the lockbox, so we had to wait until the staff showed up almost two hours later. The manager was quite nice, helpful, and apologetic; however the other worker was surly, dropping our moving blankets on the ground and walking away when he realized the truck would have to be moved forward to open the door to put them in. As for the truck, the steering was dangerously loose. It was difficult to hold a lane, because it would wander, and the first few degrees of input into the steering wheel had no effect. I had a scary moment or two alongside semi trucks on curves on the NYS Thruway. All in all, the experience was far from satisfactory.

If I recommended it to a friend, I would tell them to make sure they get a receipt on the returns after what I went through on my return I turned in the trailer and then got an email that the equipment was not turned in after the fact, had to go through a whole big ordeal to get things settled Very dissatisfying

The two fellows working in the afternoon were pleasant and funny. It was a super chill return and we all had a laugh by the end of the return. I even witnessed them being courteous and respectful to each other. Nice to see

I have rented from several U-Haul locations and continuously rent during the course of the year. This was the first time renting from this location. I worked directly with the owner and had the fastest experience that I've ever had at any other location. It was quick, easy, and I was hooked up and on the road in about 5 minutes.

Truck was not swept out upon pickup.

The cargo van cargo space the floor mat covering the cargo area was swept but the mat was not mopped; it had dust and dirt stains from previous user(s) and should have been cleaned better. The driver window would not go up or down, possibly from child-lock but I could not figure out how to operate the power windows. What should be evident was not functional.

The man behind the counter was not only rude, but did not seem to care about servicing his customers I have never felt so disrespected, and my money, not worth it I felt as if the other customers were more important than me.

This location was most convenient for us and the equipment was adequate, however the customer service was lacking. Employees did not go out of their way to help and bag of packing blankets was dropped on the ground outdoors, not even handed to us or put in the truck.

I returned equipment within on time but you charged late return fee so I called customer center and refunded it. That is your mistake. And When I get your receipt on my phone, I can't read the letters because the document isn't extended which means the letters is too small . Only using laptop, I can read it. That is inconvenient factor on your process.

I had a really upsetting experience with this uhaul. I did the 24 hour check in with my phone and when I got in the car it was honestly disgusting. And I am not really one to complain about this stuff but it was atrocious. The van was sticky on the steering wheel and floors... and it smelled like someone smoked a pack of cigarettes with the windows. up and sweat while spilling stuff everywhere. It was so overpowering I became physically ill the second we arrived at our destination bc it was so cold out and I hat to put the windows up every once in a while and smell this. And I used to smoke I don't usually mind it at all!! But this was gross.. And then I had to put my pretty new velvet couch in the back bc it had to be picked up tonight. The back was very wet and smelly.i probably would have just not gone if that weren't the case even though not going would be an inconvenience. It was that bag. I got home and my dog couldn't stop sniffing me...i smell like garbage and so does my new sofa.

I told Nathan and team multiple times that the entrance gate was up. It remained up 24/7 for the last 4 months. This storage facility is not secure in the least. I also requested multiple times that the door to the unit be fixed because it could not stay open without being propped open. It was never repaired.

There was supposed to be a lock in the unit ready for me, there was not. I had one from a previous unit I had so I put that on there.

$95 a month for a 5x5 closet is ridiculous.

The measurements were inaccurate and they were unclear of the dimensions. I rented a 8 foot long by 5 foot tall by 5 foot wide trailer and when I was told the dimensions of the storage unit were the same it was 4'6 by 4'8 by 8 ft tall and had cob webs and leaves with trash outside of other units next to mine.

The male working Sunday was very rude and very unfriendly. The pretty young woman there was very friendly and helpful, I had rented a uhaul cargo van the day before as well as a 10x10 storage unit. I was there Sun to move my belonging into the unit. When I was done, I had stopped at the main office to get something from my personal vehicle the was parked there while I was renting the cargo van. I pulled into a parking space to stay out of the way of other things that were going on our would be going on. The male employee came up to my window very rudely and with an attitude and told me returns were over there. He never greeted me or acknowledged me. Or asked me anything at all. I told him I was not there to return anything, that my personal vehicle was there and I was retrieving something from it. At which point he said nothing and just walked off... He should have greeted me in some pleasant manner, he did not. He should have asked me nicely if he could help me. Again, he did not. Instead he approached me with and runde and very unpleasant attitude. I have worked in many many different jobs that had me in contact with customers and people in general, this is not how you approach them and treat your customers and the general public. I would like him made aware of his bad actions and have him re-trained in customer service. Other than him the other employees were great, from the young pretty female to the older gentleman and the heavy-set male employee. Very friendly and easy to communicate with. Very easy and pleasant experience when they were there, bad experience with the male on Sunday.

Just rented out storage unit so to rate it a littke premature but the over all experience so far has been above average

While I was pleased with the way the staff treated me, I was appalled at the state of the storage unit. The four was left open when I arrived, which I thought was to ease my move in. However, I quickly discovered that the door was off the rails, and bent, making it difficult to close. Additionally, the unit was absolutely littered with trash, especially a ton of broken glass and ceramics. I expected it would have at least been swept and checked before I moved in. Had I known it wouldn't be, I would have brought a broom to clean up before unloading. The broken glass was a safety issue, and the damaged door is at best disappointing, and at worst will make accessing my belongings difficult.

When I moved out of the unit I went to the office to notify them I was on my due date when I moved out they were trying to make me pay for another month that my stuff wasn’t there they were very young courteous staff I had to explain to them blindly what was happening as far as maintaining those water leaks throughout the building the plywood has water damage and moose I think you need to look at the staffing in the maintenance staff of that building fixing problems and may be Relocate all the staff or re-train in better customer service

After a detailed phone reservation conversation about reserving a storage space, when I arrived at the facility they gave me the wrong size which I could not use. I had to scramble,in a strange town, to find another unit.

Gate was never locked, fence is broken in several areas and anyone could get into the facility at any time. Staff is super friendly and helpful and with the pandemic storage units have been hard to come by. Uhaul did the job. I bought a house and no longer need to unit. Merci!

This facility had one large unit available according to their online inventory, I reserved it, and i paid for it upon arrival. Though there were only two free units left on the lot, the one I had reserved had mountains of garbage in it that had not yet been cleaned out, rendering moving in impossible. I did not move in to a uhaul storage facility, and am unlikely to try again. The staff arranged a storage unit reservation at another facility and that is the most I can say for my experience at Uhaul's storage facilities.

Had a storage reservation for destination point and drop off point after my drive from Florida with a. 4x8 trailer. You didn't hold my reservation and had no space available. I was told that's a problem between your office and customer service who takes the reservation. No. That's a problem for your customers.

Was not told till end of registration that I could not store my car. The paper work was reversed. But following Tuesday I received a late notice for my rental unit. Since the call to the facility was differed to a call center and I waited 40 minutes on two different occasions to no avail. I replied to the late email that I did not have any rental with U- haul Final received phone call from Kingston facility asking me if I had a storage unit at the Kingston location. I replied no I did not.

Had trouble resolving the issue of having the pods picked up after they were unloaded. Several phone calls were made with no call backs. Eventually the issue was resolved once the manager got involve

There were mouse droppings in the unit.I was told "the alarm may go off when you open the door, just ignore that." No security. When I said I was checking out I was asked "so what do you want then?"

I asked one of the employees to have the manager call me in regards to my concerns that the door to get access to my unit was always jamming. Never received a call the gate was NEVER open on time
