The drop off box was not locked was very worried about leaving key there . There were moving blankets just laying out on ground. I just don't understand that because yall charge for them but But they were just laying out there for the taking

I went back in to ask if I could get help AGAIN with the cord needed and finally after a while longer someone came out and installed cord! Worst u-haul rental experience I've ever had! Smh

QUAN TI cannot say enough good things about these guys! They were super nice and respectful the whole time. I had two stops for them to load, they had me loaded and unpacked to a second story apartment in under 3 hours! They were so careful with my belongings and very patient with me when I asked them to move certain boxes to different rooms. He even told me they had a little time left on what I had booked them for so he offered to help move some of the boxes and things around for me! I could not have asked for better movers! Please please use these guys you will not regret it!

DAVID HI have probably rented trailers 6-8 times over the past 5 years from this 34th street location. Every time I rent I am impressed by the level of service provided by the young men working here. They are easy going, hard working and fast. They are well trained and courteous. I appreciate that a lot. I recently hired movers contracted through Uhaul. They were inexpensive, on time and hard working. I was so pleased with this service I wondered why I hadnt used it before. So worth the money! The trailer rentals are so inexpensive that Uhaul is my go to even if I have a friend to loan me a trailer.

But the lot was extremely congested, with only 1-way circulation, which caused delays in trying to return equipment. Traffic flow in/out of this facility, for those picking-up as opposed to returning, can be significantly improved.

Jose ZDo a pre inspection of the vehicle. Do not rent a Uhaul with no air conditioning and broken tail lights. It made our move from Texas to North Carolina extremely uncomfortable, stressful and a overall a horrible experience. We were unable to reach the pickup location, after multiple days of calling. Even the costumer service line could not reach the store. I was hung up on, put on hold for over 20 minutes each time, and never received a call back as promised. It felt like our problems were not fixed or addressed, it was not resolved. When we picked up the rental our moving furniture dolly was not available so we had to purchase on for $80 the rental location was busy, understaffed and unprofessional. It took a long time that day an delayed our progress. The other issues delayed our move significantly, adding 2 days time. Having to pay for 2 more overnight hotel stays an food. Adding about $300 expenses to our budget. An I used travel hotel discounts I have to save $200 or it would have been more. The lack of air conditioning caused us to be irritated and tired.

DEMETREUS ROverall the online process was great--it was easy to get and save a quote while researching multiple companies, and it was easy to make payments towards my balance. I loved the home delivery so I could load directly from my house, and that I had the option of having it delivered to my new address across the country or at a Uhaul location. My items were transported safely and arrived ahead of schedule! My experience with the Lubbock location was horrendous, aside from my U-box delivery and pickup driver, Amy. She was phenomenal and went above and beyond with answering questions and making sure I felt informed about the entire process. Everyone else had horrible attitudes and didn't seem to know anything about anything. I ordered and paid for a lock when I made my reservation and it wasn't delivered with my box. Instead of having my delivery driver go to town and back out to my house, I offered to pick it up. The guy helping me didn't know how anything about it and asked for help. The guy he asked was rude as hell that Uhaul didn't offer locks and the lock was the renter's responsibility. I told him that it was part of the offers along with other moving supplies when making the reservation and he said that the Ubox driver wouldn't know to bring a lock because that was a retail transaction and not a rental. You would think there would be some checks and balances within the computer system or staff training to avoid things like this. Then, I needed to access my box after it was picked up to add additional items and make sure the weight was evened out. I was told I needed to call 24 hours in advance to access my Ubox to add items before it shipped, which I did. However when I showed up with a truck load to add in, I was told that even though I called, nobody had set me up a reservation so I wouldn't be allowed to access my box. The same gentleman I had the lock encounter with was overly pleased to tell me he could schedule me for the next day but there was nothing he could do to get to my box while I was there with my stuff. Thankfully the Ubox driver had given me her number and I texted her and she came from another location to drop my box so I could take care of loading the rest of my items. The East New Market, MD location where my box was delivered was great. I called the day before I wanted to retrieve my items and scheduled a time. When I walked in they retrieved my box and placed it where we had room to access it with a truck and trailer. I notified them when it was empty, and let them know the furniture pads were in the Ubox and they emailed me my final receipt shortly after I left.

They had 1 10x10 unit left and set us up with 5 ubox containers. 5 of these 5x8 containers is NOT equivalent to 10x20 of additional storage space and we had to put the rest of our stuff in a friend's garage to avoid paying for another ubox container.

I rented the unit for his sister and when I gave my cell number his name popped up as we have used this uhaul many times over the years and after 38 years of being married my number was his and his number was mine but your staff can't seem to get this. Previously I reached out to the district manager and was able to resolve this. However the sister-in-law still has her stuff in unit 903. She is going to take her stuff out this coming weekend and hope to never have to deal with this establishment ever again.

ANNOLA SUpon arrival on 0311, there were 3 guys at the front desk. 2 sitting down watching YouTube and another guy that actually got up and helped me check in. Once done, he just handed me the keys and said " just walk around and match the numbers in the truck to the keys, the truck is outside". I found it weird since they usually have the truck in the front or pull the truck up for you. We could not find the truck and when we came inside to say we couldn't find it. One of the guys sitting down said " it's outside, just look for the numbers". I tried to tell Him we did look and it wasn't there but he started to get agitated so another guy walked out and helped us look for it. It was actually an older truck that was parked way in the back. Very poor experience at Thai location.

El metal de la llave es muy blando, incluso el cilindro donde se intoduce la llave no giraba suave cada que abría y cerraba. De hecho tuve que cortar el candado con mi herramienta ya que se quebró la llave y la mitad de ella quedo dentro del cilindro. Y por consiguiente lo reemplace por otro nuevo de diferente marca. Then the owner was incredibly rude and argued with me over whether I had a reservation even after I produced the receipt! This move was a nightmare and u-haul didn't help. While preparing to leave Kansas our car dolly was unavailable (reserved weeks in advance), so we had to make a return trip to get our car. An 8,5 hour drive both ways to pick a dolly and get our project car home! Because of the disorganization of your business it cost us an additional $1000 dollars to move in unexpected gas, hotel, and storage costs! Very unhappy with u-haul and will seek alternatives in the future. The location in Texas did finally get us storage for the free month we earned for the large long distance rental, but instead of the extra large unit we reserved IN ADVANCE we received 2-8x8 units and were barely able to cram everything in. Maybe corporate should step down and manage these franchises more closely. Moving is stressful enough no extra hassle needs to added.

Like seriously hire someone to answer calls or invest in a decent voicemail. All 4 loading and unloading carts were missing. When I asked someone for help they took me to the back of the facility and made me drag the cart back to the entrance. Turns out uhaul staff were using it to do maintenance and repair. They only gave me one cart. The remaining 3 carts were not put back for the next three days. I was told that I should get a free uhaul lock. Never received that.

Checking in was horrible, whoever helped me was rude, didn't help at all, didn't explain anything! After the initial showing up, returning my rental $600 you would think they would be courteous and helpful but it was the opposite! The storage unit itself is way overpriced for what we got, and in poor shape. Chandler at the end was the really only good point. And the actual pick up of the rental in Austin ATX. They were very nice and helpful. We've used u haul many times, paid a lot of money to them. Whoever helped me check in to our storage unit should not be there if they don't want to!

Brenda L | Expérience généraleWe have stored our college student's belongings at U-Haul every summer. This year, we stored longer due to leaving early because of the Pandemic. Move-in was very easy. Move-out was delayed when we discovered a small number of "baby" roaches crawling around some our boxes and seeming to come from a neighboring unit. I believe the roaches were a new addition in our 5 month of storing items. Just beware that while U-Haul does all it can (spraying for bugs, etc.), storage neighbors may not be as conscientious or even aware they have a pest problem. Our move-out took an extra hour and a half since we went through everything thoroughly looking for "baby" roaches and repacking in vacuum zipper bags.

The problem was when I 1st rented the unit I told the lady exactly what I needed and the 8x8x6 was not big enough. We also rented a unit that was refrigerated and it was hot in there. So I had to rent a 2nd unit.

The first employee who helped me, could not figure out the computer system. I had to give personal information, and list references for the employee, at least three times. A second employee got involved, and also could not help me because he could not figure out how to list the references properly. Nearly an hour later it was only a third employee, who could finally figure out how to help me and get me out of the store. Quite simply it was the most awful customer service I have ever received at any time at any storage facility in my entire life. The above questions, asking people to rate certain criteria from one star to five stars, does not allow proper evaluation of how poorly my experience went. I am keeping the unit, because it is close to my home and convenient. But if I had the choice I would've just dropped the entire transaction, and gone to a different U-Haul location. It was very difficult.

The original reservation for a larger room was not honored, so I had to use 2 smaller rooms, and the infestation occurred in the non-climate controlled room I was forced to use. I have never lost possessions to this kind of damage before in any other storage facility. I would not recommend this location to anyone.
