They charged me for 2.5 hours of work but it clearly didn’t take 2.5 hours to install considering I picked the car up two hours after I dropped it off.

The personnel were helpful and demonstrated proper use of the equipment. However, the enclosed trailer bed and walls could be mopped or otherwise cleaned other than sweeping. Everything was dusty and it rubbed off on my furniture. Also, it appeared that the trailer did not have a valid license plate.

Horrible experience, was unfairly repossessed when I live 2 min away and have rented many times and have many extensions to my rentals with no prior history of non payment or damage to the vans. Was charge excessive $750 cleaning fee with a van lined carefully with a giant tarp inside no issue to clean but to remove the tarp with the tree branches. Was charge over $800 in scratches when the car was not scratched and only driven a couple times and at 95% on my driveway. They gave me a call with a voicemail to get back to them by the end of the business day on a Wednesday yet before 3pm van was already missing and taken. Felt like I was a criminal when the van was rented for about 2 weeks and had several extensions for payment already made on the app. Would not recommend this location ever.

I was disappointed that I was forced to drive a lot further for both the pick up and drop off of the truck, but was still only allotted 30 miles of driving distance. Doesn’t seem fair that you force me to drive further and then charge me for it.

Extremely excessive long lines, under-staffed, excessive fuel charge, Charged $24 for 4 gallons and I drove 28 miles. Fuel gauge read full Reservation quote said 79 cents per mile, charged 1.09 per mile! 50-time customer at this location. 500-time U-Haul customer.

Service is great, have rented many trailers. My only complaint is the front drive between entrance and exit. Customers asked to leave rental truck in the narrow drive blocking access to trailer lot for pick up and return. The only option is to exit the entrance, cross busy Waukeegan rd and enter the exit. Drop off should be in the North lot.

They forgot to give me the end piece with the ball on it. If I hadn’t gone back into the store to ask a question about the process to hook up a trailer, I would have driven away without it. Does the team have a checklist they review to ensure all of the pieces are provided to the customer?

The U-Haul employee was extremely customer-service oriented and did an excellent job. Even though the office was about to close at 7:00 PM, I arrived at 6:55 PM, and he still took the time to process my order without making me feel rushed or unwelcome. I really appreciate his professionalism, patience, and dedication to helping customers. Excellent service!

My only complaint is that in order to enter the area where the storage lockers are, you must enter codes into two separate entry systems, 3 feet apart. This is annoying and a waste of time. They should just have one entry system.

I was expecting one month free storage after renting truck at the same location, only for me to be told that I can only get that if I returned the vehicle to a different pickup station. I felt blindsided because I was not told this initially and this made the whole experience terrible.

I am still waiting on a claim resolution. For some reason, my storage unit was not cancelled on the day of move-out, and I was billed for another month. I think the issue is being resolved, but just takes time and several phone calls to rectify issue.

We had to try at least 5 different storage units at move-in. The 4x8x5 unit door was too small for a queen mattress to fit through, even though the website stated that it would. We had already unloaded most of the trailer into the building, so had to move everything to another area of the building to a unit with a larger door. We were given 3 different locker numbers in the office, and all had locks on them, that the previous renters had left. Finally, found a locker that was open. Even though the process was frustrating...the staff was very apologetic, and helpful. Would recommend staff goes through all units to remove locks from empty units.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. The problem I had was with the construction design of the building and door. Raising the door open with my hand resulted in a serious injury. The ends of my fingers were smashed as the door reached the top of its travel.. stops should be installed on all the doors to prevent this from happening to others. Thanks

I don't feel the storage entrance is secure at all. Anyone can walk in during open hours and roam around. We were in the end storage unit and you didn't know if anyone was around the corner as it was a dead-end and someone could have been hiding there. I did see the cameras, but I feel a large mirror at the end could show if anyone was hiding around the corner. All in all, it was a pleasant experience and we will be using your service again.

I did not appreciate the mouse trap in the unit. I did not appreciate getting invoices and calls regarding owing rent on the unit, after I had already moved out, telling at least 2 employees that I'd moved out.
