The team at this New Rochelle location has been top tired since I first met them. Their customer service is always outstanding. This is why I often refer people to do business with them. Also, the facility is always clean and whenever I have needed to use any of the bathrooms, they have been clean which gives a different level of comfort. They get an overall 10 out of 10 from me, I'm thankful for their professionalism and their kindness.

The manager was very helpful there was some confusion the day prior but he made sure that we were able to get what was needed and it was done in a timely manner. He made it very smooth to change my drop-off location which was very helpful and allowed me to get things done in time. I appreciate the kindness and understanding, I would recommend this location to other people.

I had reserved a van online Monday where it asked for my drivers license and credit card information and received a reservation number for 10:00am pick up. Upon my arrival the women who gives out keys informed me that I would have to repeat the same steps I had done online Monday. It took around to 25 to 30 minutes to get key. The women was getting angry because I did not know how to properly work the app on my phone. She needs better customer service experience working with people unaware of how the process works. She kept saying "Look at the paper on the wall" and tapping her thighs.

People are really nice and helpful, only down side is that I wasn’t notified of buying the cables for the trailer and brakes and this and that I ended up buying like 30 bucks worth of stuff I don’t mind but I wasn’t notified and I was in rush to leave and I had to go back inside and pay 3 more times wich was annoying but yeah otherwise good dude that was there and lady at the front desk

The location was organized, clean and efficient. Both employees were smart, professional and friendly. They explained policies clearly and demonstrated equipment in a way that was easy to understand. Pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. 10/10 would recommend.

I must say the equipment was super clean. I was impressed. I was also impressed with the process. One suggestion I have is that I felt like asking to put someone else name and phone number is infringing on someone's privacy. While I am using the app in the store an employee should be able to verify the identity of the person making the reservation. Other than that, excellent process from start to finish.

The first vehicle I was given had no brake lights. I was lucky enough to realize this before leaving otherwise this could been a very serious issue once I got on the road. This is the second time I had an issue with the online rental at the facility.

I interacted with a number of people at the site. Some were good, some were terrible. While driving, the Service Tire Monitor System light came on. I went back to the location where they attributed the light to cold weather....but they would not provide any mileage relief since I had to drive the van back for their review. Second, they provided a van with less than a full tank of gas. It's impossible to return the vehicle with the same amount of gas so they "win" there too. I generally found them to be not very customer friendly.

When you make a reservation the truck should be available and not at a location closed due to bad weather when it is 50° and sunny i also shouldn’t be charged or have customer service update my reservation to truck i dont want then be charged for it a $1000 for a rental is insane

Staff was hot or miss with friendliness. It was a good price when I started but the increases got out of control. There has to be more done with pest control, it was absolutely DISGUSTING when I cleaned my unit out! There were dead mice, the amount of mice and rat dropping were astonishing. Rats ate through my clothes, and many things were ruined due to the lack of climate control.

We placed an order for a Mount Vernon pick up which was cancelled by U-Haul because the location was closed. We have a small business and the delay impacted our bottom line. We explained to his to the staff in New Rochelle and we still had to do a new reservation instead of finding a way to transfer the one we had. The place was busy and about to close but there was as little help from the staff. While the fine was fine, it was extremely bad weather that evening and the van needed new windshield wipers.

The only thing wrong with storage space was the price kept going up like every eight months not good And another thing trying to get into the garages to get access to your storage. There were always U-Haul blocking or somebody's blocking trailers not good. As far as the place being kept clean and neat, superb excellent

What they can do is have staff to help with the rental process. During the time I was there, adults arrived who do not have much experience with telephones and it is difficult to do the process online and the workers there do not help you by explaining how to do it.

First: All customer service representative at this location should be fired. They show no interest in help out, they are lazy, rude, and act like you are bothering them. Location is somewhat organized. The equipments need to be revised, I recently rent one car dolly, travelled all the way to M.A to find out I could not use the equipment due to poor condition, straps falling apart, lights not working, hardware for chains missing hooks. This location in New Rochelle needs a total evaluation as far as manager and workers goes.

Once a customer give you their credit card number for purchase and you take it upon yourself to take money out from their card without calling the customer that's stealing to me. Never again will I use U Haul using my credit card.

When I first got there, I was slightly annoyed. I was going through a moving process and it was raining cats and dogs. Ms.Gordon at the Beechwood location in New Rochelle New York was very nice and pleasant. She changed my mood. She was polite and calm. Even though it started to get a little crowded, She made sure she finished up with me Explaining everything about the storage and the U-Haul before moving onto the next customer that's customer service at its best 

It's sad for me to have left this storage unit. As it turns out I needed more space but this facility did not have availability for a bigger unit therefore I had no choice but to leave. This U-Haul location provided the best customer service I've experienced in the two plus years that I've been a customer!!! The manager and his staff were friendly, patient, knowledgeable and very accommodating during my move in. I would highly recommend U-Haul of New Rochelle for your moving and storage needs.

I was disappointed that the location was not climate-controlled, and also that each storage. unit was not lighted individually. There weren't any trash receptacles located nearby, either.

Was ending my time with hail When emptying out the unit it had a lot of water I still had two more weeks before I needed to get out. But when I saw the water removed all items manager was not available called six times no answer was told he always answers his phone. I had numerous issues with my check in. The 1st was with the promotion. I got an email giving me the first month free. The contract # I had to valid ate the promotion wasnt working. I then called the 1800 number to resolve the issue. I was rest assured that there was no issue and the free month would be applied upon checking into my unit. I complete d my check in online and made my reservation. When I arrived at the facility to check in in was told the promotion ended. At took 2 representatives to finally fix the issue. After resolving that issue, I tried to go to my unit. I wasnt able to access it because the pin code in was given for the gate was incorrect. I then had to return to the deal to get my gate code reset. My check in process took over an hour. And I am a customer who registered fully online and paid in advance.

Very positive overall experience, except that there was a line of people waiting to be helped by staff, and there were only two people working, one of whom was moving in slow motion (it took him 10 minutes to gather one customer's supplies, because he was finding and carrying one item at a time, when he easily could have taken multiple).

After almost a year and half renting various units at a time I could said that's it's being a privilege to watched Mr. Ventura, handling the daily operations of this facility. The facility and employees are very nice, but the policy should be revised, because if i pay my bill on time but end up moving out before the month is over, I should of received a prorated bill. I feel taken advantage. By U-haul's policy, not the facility.

I can't believe how nice everyone was, and how easy it was. I didn't get real drop off instructions except to leave the van under the return sign,.I hope no problems happened after I left bc no one inspected the vehicle and I barely used it, only 3 miles.

Average because of poor customer service by Antonio. It seem he was only interested in charging the most cost he can find to customers renting trucks. It seem like he gets some kinda sales commission . He was rigid and unfriendly. Withholding info from customers to apply charges to there card unknowingly.

This facility is the most modern ,clean,secure,and has the easiest access to my unit. From just pulling up to the roll up doors and not having to get out of your car the roll up door opens automatically then once inside the bay after swiping in the dollys are there to load my property once in a huge elevator and dropped off at my floor I have access to my unit through a huge roll up door. All the while protected by cameras and a convenient two way intercom where you are in touch with the front desk in seconds. They also gave restrooms on every floor which is great. It is the best storage facility I ever rented from and I rented quite a few. But now all my storage needs will be done at this facility solely. I recommend this facility to everyone including people with disabilities such as myself.

I'm a first time storage unit customer and I'm very happy I choose UHaul. The staff person that helped me, he's name is Christopher. He was knowledgeable, polite and very helpful. The storage location is very convenient to get to, well lit, and very clean. I especially like being able to drive into the storage building to unload my items. My one and only complaint is that you are short staffed on the weekends. Everybody was waiting in line for what I saw was only one employee at the desk. You need more staff.

Very helpful staff. Phone system can be frustrating. Staff who are helping customers in the store can't spend the time on the phone since it causes people in the store to wait. It woulsybe helpful to speak to a rep at the location and not corporate office which can cause extremely long wait times on the phine

Brought one way truck rental back at 4:55 pm on Sunday, 3/8/2020 and as if 9:30 am on Monday, 3/9/2020 the truck has not been checked in and no receipt has been emailed. Made multiple phone calls to customer service. Still waiting on phone call from Store manager. The unit was a "handicapped" unit with just a regular 36" door not a roll up "garage door" type. Made for storing items very difficult.

The only thing I would change is I would have the elevator door stay open about 15 seconds longer to allow one person to be able to load more than 1 cart into it.
