My unit leaked and destroyed my wedding memorabilia and wooden jewelry boxes. I still need to file a claim tomorrow. I left on 20 march, and I was still charged on the 21st for another month. Waiting for management to call and give me my refund

We originally rented from one location and then received an email saying that we would need to pickup the truck at a different location. When we went to pick up the truck at the 2nd location, they not only didn't have a truck, nor were they expecting us! Finally we're sent to a 3rd location and finally we're able to pick up a truck! This process needs improvement!!

I rent trucks all the time! I own a moving company I get a 75 dollar cleaning fee!? And a 20 dollar after hours fee? I dropped the truck off not only hours before they closed! Though I drop it off the entire day before it was meant to be dropped off! I couldn't log in to turn my truck back in horrible service out there. I took the keys into the manger to notify my problem! And that damn lady took advantage of me and ripped me off. I know Dan and everyone else at western street has never done some shady stuff like that. I'll be having a word with you lady! Horrible lying and absolute scam artist. This location I will never recommend anyone nor will I come over here again without some sort of protection from scammers like the manger here.

We set up the scheduled install, but when we got there they were not ready for us nor had a person on the schedule to do the install. They did a great job getting it installed, but it took all day to get it done. We were told it was on the schedule, but seemed to be a problem once we got there.

During the process of me renting the Uhaul I understood that I had to have a reference and the worker Tun I believe is his name called my reference on spot. No problem because I know how references work. The problem I have is RACIAL PROFILING! The very next day I come to return the rental and I'm standing in line and I see Tun is working so I'm observing and 3 people were in front of me and he did not ask not 1 customer for references or call them, only emergency contact info. I actually asked one of the customers when she and her brother were leaving did he ask you for a reference of call them and they said no just an emergency contact. I do not appreciate this profiling and it made me super uncomfortable because my dollar spends the same! Very unacceptable

The staff at this location were very helpful and on top of things very clean location 👏 but your app I will not use anymore I think you need to make it clear on all costs up front threw the app not in small print or some we’re you can not see I felt I was better off just calling but at the same time the staff deserve all the credit because they made it clear and explained it so definitely people friendly not app friendly but thank you very much .

Pickup was scheduled for 7am, when the location was supposed to open. No one showed up to open the store until 7:30. One of the workers said only people that did not have keys were scheduled to work, so they had to wake up someone else to open the store. That is complete management ineptitude. Besides standing outside the door for 30 minutes, everything else was fine.

Everything was fine. Got a bill saying that we didn't owe anything and then a week later they sent me to collections saying I owe $300. Whats up with that sounds like u haul is ripping people off. Cause my invoice says everything was fine and that's from when they checked it in. So I won't be paying it and I will be calling a lawyer to handle this attempted fraud by uhaul.

U-Haul do not value the lives of your clients. I was almost killed by the 20" Van I was given for a trip from Edmonton to Katy Texas. This truck had a mileage of 122 000 Miles with rusted wheels with an auto-transporter attached to pull a SUV, and the most painful thing was that I told the attendant that this truck could not make the 35 hr road trip. He told me it had just undergone a L2 maintenance and was in top shape. Right from the beginning this truck was struggling, even before it was loaded. It was a horrible journey all through until it broke down right in the middle of the highway at around 7pm. The transmission just gave up while on a speed of about 70MPH, it JUST STOPPED. There were big trucks right behind us and they had to change lane in order not to ram us into the bushes. As it could not drive we were unable to move it totally off the road, and so had to stand by the roadside in the middle of nowhere in the freezing cold temperature trying to call U-Haul. Finally we got an agent on the phone and he was so NOT empathetic, asking us to sit in the van if we were feeling cold. Sit in a van on the high way at around 8pm where there was absolute darkness. He said a roadside assistance truck would be with us within 1 hr, nothing showed up until 2 hrs later. We took turns to watch out for coming trucks in order to warm our hands with the aide door vent. Guess what, after the 2 hrs what came was a small SUV who just came to see if truly the van had broken down. No Tow vehicle, no mechanics, just a plain guy who then called U-Haul to now book a tow vehicle. This was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. After that, he just left us the way he met us. U-Haul now said we needed to wait for a tow vehicle with an ETA of 1,5hrs, and this was now around 11,3pm in the middle of no where. Still this agent was so unempathetic. We were so cold we had started shivering and my legs/hands were going num. We finally decided to offload my SUV on the auto transporter and drove to the next town. I was booked what they called a hotel, it was the most horrible accommodation I have ever seen. The bed linens were stained, the towels were dirty and the room was smelling of cigarette, despite being a non smoking room. The washroom had stains all over and the shower was like a tap. I slept on the chair and did not take a shower to let you know how bad it was. I have the pictures and video and this would be going on social media soon, tagged U-Haul provided accommodation after van broke down. By the next morning, when I called U-Haul I was informed by van was yet to be towed from the highway. I did not leave Amarillo until about 3pm. My whole plans had been ruined because of an incompetent company ran by incompetent staff. I'll advise you think hard before going in the U-Haul especially if its a long drive. The guy that came to meet us at the scene of the breakdown said thus was a usual occurrence with U-Haul, that he was practically always out going to rescue stranded clients.

This whole experience was a comedy of errors. They were an hour late opening, there was a line of 7 am arrivals waiting. The van they finally gave me would not start, so they gave me an offline van with issues. It did not have fuel despite the contract saying it was full. Things happen, but nothing happened to plan on this day. Too many other options in town to risk this again.

Store advertised a furniture dolly for rent, which was not available, and employee stated that they have not had a furniture dolly to rent in quite a long time. If you are not going to have it then don't advertise it.

You need to make 2 check-in desks at your location on your 6th street location because when my wife and I was there om Saturday they were to busy for 1 desk, or they need to hire more people!!!

Outstanding help from your staff at this location. I had a blown fuse for my taillights and your staff worked tirelessly to get me on the road with your transport trailer. My concerns about not having a spare tire were met with great concern and I was assured the tires on this trailer were the best on his lot (and they were). It was cold, nasty and late and you all made sure my equipment was ready for my trip. Not one time did I feel rushed or pressured to leave. Thank you for the quality trailer.

* I made the reservation online. Checkout/review total: $204. Confirm, suddenly, the total changes to $302. Spent 1hr on the phone with Maria to confirm that $204 is the correct amount. Your site sucks. I did this multiple times. glassbox_id "2b5209f3-5578-4e51-8ce6-ba708c33c7ce:1" * I pick up the van at 8a. I have to drive ~250 miles. My wife is waiting for me to pick up the van so I can transfer my tools. First, I am directed to where the van is supposed to be but isn't. After 15 minutes, Isaiah brings it around and informs me that 1 tire is low. We change to new van. Overall, I am 45 minutes late during which my wife had to wait for me. * I drop off the van. My daughter waits for me. It takes more than 30 minutes until I can get checked out. All in all, a very bad customer experience.

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had in all of the times I've rented any equipment from U-Haul or a storage unit from U-Haul. Very very unprofessional staff and management. Maria is rude and condescending and so is Tun. Neither should be working there. Leadership reflects the attitude there and it shows that leadership is poor.

There were no utility Dolly's available so I had to pay extra on the spot for the appliance dolly and fortunately an employee found me one a little less rusty and squeaky than the one they were going to let me walk away with. When I was quoted a price after booking over the phone, it did not include taxes so I paid $66 more than expected. After all was done it took over an hour to sign the contract with a standing reservation. Time management, inventory control, and adequate pricing could definitely help this location in customer service. There also wasn't a manager available for further information.

Upon return, have someone at the desk. I waited more than five minutes before seeing an employee. That employee walked through and said "someone will be with you in a moment. I waited another 5 minutes or more for that employee. During that time another customer came and left.

I TRIED THREE TIMES TO COMPLETE THE SELF CHECK-IN USING THE U-HAUL APP. THREE TIMES IT FAILED. I asked a team member for their assistance returning the truck and they jumped on it right away. Very much appreciated.

The guy who checked me into the rental in the morning was not the most helpful. He even stated that Uhaul was a ripoff because of the fuel policy. Half the time I couldn't even hear him talk because he would mumble. The girl that checked my equipment in upon return was very helpful and did a good job.

The directions in the facility for the stairs were not posted anywhere. When the person we talked to about our storage area said if we had any questions to call her and then when we tried to call she never answered. It took 45 minutes to find the stairs and our storage unit.

It says climate controlled however when I was moving my things in yesterday it sure seemed very cold not only in the hallway of the facility but in the storage unit itself. It isn't very easy to get to because of all the broken equipment blocking entry ways. Staff is super nice and I appreciate that.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The storage location is kind of in a weird spot but is doable, but dont appreciate me having to swipe my card every time the door shuts when I'm moving in.

The standard presentation of the brand is outstanding everyone has done their job on the forefront as the face of uhaul at this location and it's a clear reflection of the manager, but I'm disappointed in how my personal situation was handled, although I would love to Give 5 stars I won't because I didn't receive 5 star service my safety and freedom was compromised on top of the huge inconvenience and set back I'm I'm. Still goingnto expirience long after I return this truck because I am nothing but a number and a dollar sign to this company. I do not recommend uhaul not to my friends family and/or word off mouth. I leave this with dignity and respect so I won't air out my experience in detail with thee intention to slander this brand.

Great customer service! Customer service representative appeared to be new, and the General Manager was there working with us every step of the way. I am giving this review and "Excellent" rating not only based on my experience, but also how the GM treated her employee. She was very caring and friendly to both of us. Facility was clean, and I felt reassured with all of the security device present.

I was told way back in feb that y stuff was going to be auctioned off. No warning or anything. I believe i was a few weeks behind. I triedt contaxt someonebut gotno answer. The only bad thing is the next day I went to go put my stuff in storage they put a lock on my unit I had to go all the way back to the front office to have them come take the lock off I don’t know why they did that but that was unnecessary it was empty I was getting ready to put stuff in it

Storage room was stated as big enough for a two bedroom apartment. My one bedroom stuff didn't work in there. They are extremely small. That's my only issue.

I had some bad experience and some good. I didn't like the fact thar 9 times out of 10 I had to abs that one of the broken down trucks be moved so that I could access my storage and the price is outrageous!! The staff at the uhaul on 6th is absolutely amazing!!! They had to put up with me and I am a handful to say the least. Every time I entered the building I could see the expression of oh my what does she want today, but the tone of their voice and the attitude was completely the opposite. They went above and beyond to satisfy my demands. They all deserve a reward for all I put them through. To the Uhaul Crew on 6th in Amarillo, Thank You All for putting up with me. Amanda was awesome and walked me through the process to activate access to my indoor storage unit. She is a very polite person. We are planning to move to Amarillo from Temple,TX. and her facility will be our "go-to" business. Absolutely no complaints. Thank you Amanda from Sam and Lisa Longacre.

The girl that checked me in did not know what she was doing. It took over an hour for her to get me my storage unit. she kept pushing me off, to go to where i had to return my uhaul truck in canyon she wanted to cancel my reservation so i could go there. Someone else has to help her so i could get going. A few weeks later i went in to rent a truck so i could move my things and she was there again and stated that they were sold out of trucks meanwhile there was about 5-6 trucks there. I went online to try and see who else had a uhaul available, THE SAME location had multiple trucks available. I felt lied to and went to home depot and rented a truck. I will never deal with this location again. Dissatisfied and disappointed.

The staff members that I saw consistently were very friendly and helpful, although there did seem to be a lot of turnover and new hires being trained often. The price of my storage unit seemed to be increasing incrementally, culminating in a $15 late fee for my unit in the last month (despite my account being set up with auto-pay and never having that problem previously). The unit itself was not entirely secure. There was a 6-8 inch gap between the wall of my unit and the one next to it, such that my neighboring unit's owner could reach an arm in take my items if I hadn't accounted for that. Elevator goes down sometimes and delays my ability to access the unit or remove items.

When trying to return vehicle after business hours while trying to check out it couldn't verify my location. My location was clearly on as it was working on other applications. I walked the property for 20 minutes trying to refresh and restart my phone to avoid a $20 fee and i still get stuck paying the $20 fee.

I rented a 10 X 10 X 10 storage and it was in two separate units. Even though they were next to each other I had trouble getting the small amount of furniture into them both. Also now two locks.
