Check engine light and suspension/alignment lights flaring ... I seriously thought I would be left stranded on the side of the road. Not a pleasant experience.

SOHUN FRANCIS PINTOI was given the wrong vehicle, and after delivering the vehicle, two hours later, I was given a call and told that there was a technical issue with the vehicle and needed to return the vehicle as soon as possible upon probing, it was informed that this vehicle was not supposed to be given to us and it was meant for somebody else. The drop location was another area as per my initial booking but the store person called and told me that they will charge me $500 if you don't drop your vehicle at the original pick up location. So I had to drop the vehicle from my original pick up location and I had to spend almost $50 to return back to my place of shifting. Moreover I was charged extra for the kilometres that I had not intended to drive.

Whenever I go for my personal car service they take the picture with their iPad or device from all sides before starting any service so they will have an evidence that car was received in what condition Same way UHAUL should take pictures before handing over the equipment/ car to customer

Kelly SmithI had rented a 10' truck for several hours. I had informed the staff that the fule tank was not filled to what levels that were marked on the documents. When I had returned the vehicle, I filled the gasoline tank back to its required levels. I was then charged CAD$42+ for EZ Fuel Service Fee when in fact I was never to be charged for fuel. This was terrible service and I would never recommend this again. Terrible customer service and the staff was rude about the notification which I am not out of pocket being charged for fuel not used. This is absolutely unacceptable and not professional service whatsoever!
Michael HymanI rented a Cargo Van and drove 19 km, and was charged $44 for fuel. I called customer service to contact the car rental store to question the matter. Good thing is the store promised to refund the fuel fee. Bad thing is nobody knows why dose it happen.

Whoever owns this location is lucky to have the 2 girls that were working at this location 12/17. TOTALLY AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

moenara corpI rented a dolly for major appliances to move a fridge to a new location. There were three steps at departure and four steps at arrival. Although I attached the appliance with the belt provided, the belt was too low and difficult to tighten so the appliance tilted and fell on one of the steps at arrival. Some regrettable damage occurred. I think that U-Haul should provide two tightening belts for tall appliances one up and one down and also instructions with the dolly on how to best tighten the belts and how to engage the steps going out and going into the new location.

Her staff, such as Courtney were also very helpful in making my move go smoothly. I am impressed by the cleanliness of the facilities and of course by the affordable rates at this location. You have a well run professional group here. I hope for this to be a long-term stay, with no excessive yearly rate increases, like at the last place i left. The U-Haul service was also very helpful.

Michael FELTRINMy first pickup was at 3040 Trafalgar Road, but my requested equipment was not available. The only Ryder truck they had was 15 ft, when I ordered a 20 ft. You may have heard that there were issues with remote entry, or unmanned location, but the equipment I ordered was simply not there. As a result, I lost an hour having to go to the location on Woody Street to get the needed 20 ft truck.

We saw $19,99 to rent and ended up being charged $850 to take the truck up north and back in under 24 hours. The team at the dealership did tell us that it was by the mile, but when I booked on line I was not aware. We did purchase some cardboard boxes, but the overall cost was way above what we ever ever anticipated.

Then I got a call from someone at the dispatch and the rest was a bit of a nightmare coordinating, from random pick up locations, a drop-off location that was inputed nowhere near the storage locker, rude people on the phone, a 45 minute call to try and sort out the drop off with no resolution. Other than the experience at the storage facility, the process with Haul was a bit of a mess and I wouldn't recommend it to those who don't want a run around.

Ultimately found out the next day a way bigger locker was available. Upset the customer service representative did not offer that option to us. Very disappointing as the room was very difficult to maneuver. The door/ locker was very weak and not as sturdy as other locations. When I eventually spoke to the manager/ acting manager the refund for the locker was issued but I had to present my Carlsen as we had rented a van at another location. The initial customer service woman was very discouraging and I have always had an amazing experience with Uhaul. I was saddened and upset by thr treatment from the initial customer service rep that I spend 3 weeks resolving the issues. We have closed down the locker and moved to another facility.

I spoke to lorelai once again, i found her rude and unapologetic. She was very unprofessional. The beginning of this month I received an email from Uhaul saying I was late with my monthly payment and was charged a late fee and locked out again. I was confused as my credit card was nowhere near its limit. I called Uhaul and spoke with a young man to find out that there was no credit card on file for my account. (You cant make this stuff up). I have had nothing but issues as a direct result of the unprofessionalism and incompetenace of Lorelai, the manager. If I treated my clients like this, i would have none. Do yourself a favour and go to another Uhaul in the area or make sure to have another customer representative take care of you at this location.

Plus the billing credit from prepaying a unit and downsizings seemed to be a mystery. The previous management kept it warm on the sevens floor and billing and upgrades and down grades were never an issue. They always accommodated my needs.

When we went to look at the unit, it was just too small, very inconvenient and too far on the inside of the building. When I went to the customer service desk, I was passed on from one rep to another (4 total) and finally the response was the system double booked my unit. I was not offered a similar unit (due to availability) and instead I was given 2 half units instead. Funny enough, when I went back to the warehouse to locate my units, one of them also had a lock on!! I felt like I was on candid camera when I had to walk back to the customer service desk.

I spent some time double checking things with live chat and felt that since I spent more then an hour double checking my reservation I would just go to the counter and double check again and be on my way. The excellent employee spent a lot of time going over the things that I had already went over, since I didn't bring my computer I diidn't have quick answers to every single question, all i wanted was to get what I had spent the time reserving. After 45 minutes of questions I got the rental, if the reservation email had the instruction to bring all those questions i would have, I don't get why I was reminded to bring some info and not all the required inf. I had to take a call as that process was ridicuously long, and the person left me to explain another customers bill. That other customer was being rude and boy I felt those rude urges in me since my online work was pointless. Assuming I didn't do that online work I would say what a great team and building, there was an annoying customer in the building and the team kept there composure and was great with me and my helper, she gave me my first months rent free, I like how they get along with each other and me and my friend, they walked with me to show the keypad which i would have had to gone back and ask for help, all around they are pros and I will come back for the next move.. Not only were they not accommodating and rude every time I came in or call, they didn't listen to a thing we ask, was very unhelpful, and very reluctant to do anything, especially during such a tough year. Not to mention, when renting their trucks, they didn't explain about the mileage you can't go over and only disclose this after we return the vehicle, making us not able to get our deposit back. Moving is already stressful enough, but add on to the added stress from some hidden clause that wasn't disclose is unacceptable. If this was explained ahead of time, we would've paid attention to it. I would've given them a 0 if I could. I would never recommend this company to anyone ever again! By far the worst experience I ever had!

The police were called & involved and perpetrator was arrested 7 days later. The facility did not assist in retrieving camera footage_claiming only one camera was working for the entire facility and only caught the beginning of the altercation. This facility was chosen as it claims to have 24-Hour Video Monitoring-untrue. Nonetheless Miranda & Zachery were extremely helpful and knowledgeable but the "manager" David did not seemingly care nor take any notes about the incident or trauma suffered by the victim . The victim had been transported to Trafalgar Oakville Hospital via ambulance from the UHaul Woody Oakville Location the previous evening after the assault. She is still recovering from the assault. DO NOT RENT STORAGE HERE AS IT IS NOT SAFE.
