The truck smelled heavily of cigarettes upon my rental and I think your check in process is a little laborious, but aside from that it was a decent experience and I will rent from you again or buy a truck from you thank you

Although scheduled, the equipment was not ready. Thaw trailer was apparently faulty so they changed trailers. The replacement trailer was poorly maintained. The ratcheting strap devices were rusty and difficult to operate. The ramps did not have a proper catch and one fell while off loading my car! The car was thus dragged along its frame until the wheel hit the ground. The return facility employee checked the ramp and verified that the problem was not "user error".

I understand working at uhall is probably not the best jobs but the attitude and appearance of the employees was just terrible. Overall it was a bad experience, nice new store.

The Trailor straps was broken. I picked up the truck and trailer 1 hour away from my loading spot. By the time I hook my car up it was too late. The straps was cut and could go around the tires. I spent a lot of money with uhaul and the was not acceptable to me

We had the most interaction with Amanda, and she is a jewel. When we knew we no longer needed the unit, our first comment was, "We are going to miss Amanda!" She is a perfect representative for your company. She is kind, personable, and always professional.

Site mobile check in was faulty. Didn't give lock code so Couldn't access key without an employee, whom was difficult to find and delayed my move. System didn't register my change in reservation, so truck was unprepared.

Staff is A+ the facility with its key card security in and out makes you feel safe. Very clean environment. Ability to back vehicle into Bay Area and close is a commodity. When the weather is bad.

Keep doing what you're doing. I'll be back Tell corporate they ought to consider putting a higher front panel on the motorcycle trailers to keep the road debris off the motorcycles, especially in the rain.

Someone called and presented themselves over the phone as Mr and Mrs. Strader. They were able to pick up a set of keys. We caught them on our ring camera and my husband confronted them and was able to find out how they got into the U-Haul. They were never able to start the vehicle but our things were in there. We were told a man named Staunton was responsible for allowing this. I was going to let this go even though my husband was livid, because the couple gave us the information and had a small child. However, the next day I called to inquire as to approximately how much the U-Haul would currently cost, and in the background Staunton said something along the lines of "be careful of people like them". I'm not sure what he meant by that but it was absolutely uncalled for and unprofessional. He not only insulted us but he allowed strangers and thieves access to some of our most valuable possessions. I book a van originally for 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.for $19 locally plus $0,49 a mile. When I picked up the van the clerk said I could keep it till 7:00 p.m. What he didn't say was that it would be considered extend time plus $0,79 a mile rated at 100 miles. I only went no more than 40 miles. The rental cost me more than anticipated. This was poor customer service.

In these situations where the equipment is uniform across the nation, the big differences from a customer point of view is how the employees make us feel and the employees ar this store make me wanna come back and spend $$ when I have even the slightest need. Specifically, I need a motorcycle trailer a few times a yr. I'm borderline buying one, but the u-haul rental trailers are such a great design and kept in such high quality condition and the price so reasonable and the employees so friendly and professional... I will continue renting

Love the drive in loading/unloading and the convenience of the unit. However, the only complaint I have is that the garage door to the unit never stayed open to make it easy to go in and out of. You had to have 2 people there most times, one to hold open the door and the other to carry stuff in/out. Next time I will just have to buy something to hold the door unit door open or use something to wedge it from closing on top of me. That is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Other than that, the automatic doors and carts to load were very helpful and I would use it again if needed.

The Patrick St. U-Haul exceeded all my expectations for what a storage unit could be. I always felt my stuff was secure. The staff were always around for any questions and willing to go out of their way to help. The secured garage/loading zones were perfect and really made the place top tier. I always recommend the Patrick Street storage units and will be my first choice if I need to use one again.

I was so impressed with the storage facility! My mom was actually the one who set everything up, so I hadn't seen it initially. When I went to grab things out of storage, I was blown away with how nice the facility actually was. There was a large interior space and it was climate controlled. There were multiple access points, as well as indoor parking access, which, on a very hot day, was amazing to find! There were carts available to help tote boxes in and boxes out, so I didn't need to worry about having a dolly myself. Everything was incredibly clean and I felt very secure both in my possessions being well-protected and safe. My mom was the one that dealt with staff, and she was also very happy with each interaction that she had with staff along the way. Overall, I don't think we could have had a better experience (unless a genie had come with the unit, bestowing magical gifts while we were there 藍). Thanks U-Haul!

Everything was fine except I missed a month by mistake and I was charged an astronomical amount. I believe it was the month of June bc I was only off 48 hrs in three weeks time. Overall my experience was good. Also I had my unit for a less value and they just started charging me more even before you sent a notice stating this. Merci

The two at the front desk allegedly there to assist customers were absolutely useless. Young sandy blonde female and large man with a Go-T, I cannot give names bc they refused to provide them, did the bare minimum to assist. I explained when I walked up I was transferring units, it was not processed as such. I was told if I wanted the transfer and credit from ky original unit applied to the new "I guess call the manager and get it done bc I don't know how". When said paperwork was finished, it was handed to me, nothing said, no new unit humber provides, nothing. When i asked for the unit info it was a huff, an eye roll and then she handed me a map, still no unit number. I literally had to ask her again, for the third time, if she can tell me the unit number so I can find it. This is the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had anywhere. Nothing was told to me about what I needed to do once I moved units at all so once finished I left. Ten minutes after leaving I get a call stating I need to come back bc my transfer was done incorrectly. (shocker). This is absolutely unacceptable. I have NEVER been treated this way as a customer just trying to utilize a service with a company. Unfortunately, this is the ONLY climate controlled storage until in the vicinity of where I reside, otherwise, I would definitely not still be a customer.

I did not get to store my stuff as planned changed and I didn't end up moving to Charleston. But, my experience with everyone in getting a storage unit set up and then canceling it after the 1 month I paid for was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this facility to anyone that needs a storage unit. Thank you so much for the assistance in closing out my unit. Much appreciated. Have a nice day!

They kept raising the prices! I have a storage unit in a nearby Uhaul and they never raised the rent in 6 months. This one raised it after 2 months!

Customer service wasnt great at all. We where at the location with a truck full of belongings and they didn't have the storage room we discussed. We had to leave and go to Saibt Albans. It wasn't convenient!

I had reserved a large storage unit via online. There was no indication online that I had NO GUARANTEE to actually get a unit. I found this out when I showed up to move in. Fortunately the GM at the location hooked me up with two smaller units at the same price. Uhaul needs have better clarification concerning online reservations.

I paid the bill for 6 months from my Amex. My employee quit and we put his tools and test equipment in storage. The attendant would not allow my new employee in the gate after driving 6 hrs . That is just ridiculous

Nice facility, great location. If you had this same facility at your old location in North Charleston, I never would have used it. I did think I would be getting a refund though. I paid my 7/24 payment and closed out on the 29th.

Much safer and cool inside storage. Extra security to check in/out before using your own lock to access your unit. Plus insurance is a no brainer to use this new Uhaul for your storage needs.

This facility was fantastic. I did have a problem with a requirement of 3 phone numbers to rent a storage unit. What if someone doesnt have 3 phone numbers, I guess they are just out of luck, huh. And the facility in Charleston SC, was aweful. I felt like I was bothering the people that worked there. And when it comes to setting up the tow, I was told if they help me set it up, it would be a $20 fee. That was not mentioned at the counter and I didn't see that anywhere before or after I made the reservation or the invoice. and not being able to check in the tow separate from the truck, when I didnt need the tow after I arrived at this facility, was another thing that left a sour taste in my mouth. Oh, and when I paid for the reservation for the truck and tow, being a veteran, I later found out that UHaul offers a discount, but that wasn't mentioned at the Charleston SC office, either.

Trenton was fantastic! He went above and beyond to make sure my move in process was smooth and without complication. There was another young woman who assisted me, she is from Florida but I cannot recall her name. She was delightful as well. These two make a great team and are assets to the company.

The facility is impressive and the staff for the most part were friendly my problem is with your companies policies I Lost half of my items and now receive collection and lien notices from your company I came to your staff with 4 days remaining on my contract and asked if I could add the after hours access to my account because i knew that I wasn't going to have time to remove everything and clean my unit I was told sure for $10 I asked if it could be prorated and was told no we don't prorate anything with the pandemic and losing my job I was having a tough time I didn't have the $10 so I defaulted on my unit and the $105 that I didn't have is now almost $500 that I still don't have all because your company didn't want to help out the very soul of your business the costumer without them you wouldn't be where you are today nor will you stay there prorating doesn't cost your company anything because you still get the rate per rental you would normally get and you would help someone down on their luck you should consider it
