Ann Abest uhaul location I have ever used
ANN BMary and Tyler do a very good job. Tyler seems to be an expert at installing hitches and Mary is good at what she does too. They seem to work well together and make a great team! They seem to know their stuff pretty good and are confident in what they do; will make you feel like you're in good hands. I am very pleased with my new hitch and wiring set-up, so far, on my 2014 Jeep Cherokee. It cost me a little over $500, and took only a few hours to complete.

Had everything for me ready to go And I want to say as well, I appreciate the positive note you left in the 2nd truck. Made my day; a whole lot better and my heart full! Sales lady was going over the paperwork and said if you break tape on dolly it's 7 dollars that was it the reason for that 75 is the dolly she never said 7 daily my husband asked even only 7 dollars great so I plan kn fighting this because they should be more specific. Not only that she even tried to charge us again for the uhaul truck and argued with us because we said no it was paid for so I would like a call please 608-726-1127

My wife and I moved to Wisconsin from Chicago, built a new house, and used the 4 storage units for almost two years while our house was being built. During that time, we rented Uhaul trucks from Mary, got stuck on a rural driveway and Mary arranged an extended rental for our truck at no penalty, as well as arranging a tow. She is thoughtful and we were lucky to have such a wonderful person managing our storage needs. Thanks Mary!!! Truly appreciated!!!!

Greg JThe inside of the trailer was dirty with some litter and a lot of dirt and trash on the floor when I picked it up. I had to sweep it out before using it. I didn't check the inside when picking it up because it was very cold and snowy.

Ann BThis location always has top notch staff to coordinate pickups. Only issue we can add (and this is not Platteville U-Haul's issue), is that U-Haul sent me an email 3 days prior that our pickup was moved to Cuba City, about 17 miles south. When we called Platteville corporate they corrected and we picked up at Platteville as planned- lesson learned- don't trust corporate Platteville emails moving your pickup location!

I did have 2 locks stolen by a couple who were in their storage facility when I ran out to my car. Very sad. I hope they didn't take anything else. It would be nice if we had access to the video security system.

Jason BA frustrating experience, for the first time with UHaul. (And this is the 4the time I've done business with you). I think it's crazy that you require not only my personal information, which is necessary, but 2 emergency contacts. Why? There were two trucks parked outside the entrance. The sales rep handed me the keys and said the truck outside is yours. Well, which one. Got in the closest one and it was the wrong one. The door of the truck was dented, but you couldn't see that in the pictures that were uploaded that required verification. The saleswoman told me the gas tank was full and I needed to return it full. The tank was only 3/4 full, which I took a picture of for proof. My husband filled the tank when we went to return it, as per requirement. Apparently it really wasn't required, and the same saleslady from the morning basically said too bad, so sad. No type of reimbursement was offered. Poor experience all around.
Donna BPicked up the UHAUL 26' truck on a Thursday night and one broken headlight. It was so bad on how too see as I drove a little over 40 miles and through 3 towns with the brights one and no one noticed or hit their brights on that my bright headlights were on. That is really sad and dangerous that you send out equipment that way and do nothing about it. Like I said the drivers side low beam headlight was out and the passenger side headlight was so bad on dime side and pointed extremely down to where you couldn't see only using the bright headlights. In this being said I will not rent a truck from UHAUL in Platteville again
Larry PGet your computer system upgraded so it can handle the information needed to rent faster. It is frustrating waiting for the computer to work.
thomas lImprove the APP. I chose the truck share option.. but the app didn't have an option for letting me pick up. Lucky for me there was amazing customer service in the store. When I tried to drop it off ( 1 day early ) the app didn't let me load pictures.. so it didn't account for me dropping off early

Jeslias MOnly thing I can think of is. Have two people at the desk. Im sure it isnt always busy. I just know when we were there the lady was busy. She had to go out to show us the truck ect. While a few mor people were in there. There could of been another person helping the next customer.

Katherine Kgot to location prior to opening for the day, to find wrong key in lock box. when i called 1 800 # it took them 40 mins to call me back. I would tell a friend to try and only use location when they are open so if there is a problem someone is hopefully there to assist.

This type of thing had never happened before. But 5 people who were going to help me move couldn't. But the next day I went to the store in Platteville and he was so helpful and Curtious I changed my mind and will use U-Haul again.

Our son is at UW Platteville and we used the facility to both rent trailers for moves between semesters and to store his items in a 5X10 locker there. In all our visits we were very impressed with any of the staff working there and their professionalism and customer service. The storage facility is clean, well kept and orderly. I don't see that same level of quality and customer service at our own U-Haul in our hometown in the Fox Valley. Hats off to Mary and the crew at Platteville!

Mary was extremely kind and helpful in that she gave me the name and number of the locksmith and arranged for the lock to be cut off and replaced that day. I really appreciated her professionalism even though it was 100 % my mistake. It seems kindness and courtesy are lost in today's population and Mary was refreshing. Thank you again and I apologize for the inconvenice I caused.

I was allowed to reserve a unit size you do not even have! Then I was told there were two 5x10 units that were actually combined to create one 10x10!! This was definitely not the case!!! It took three tries to find a unit that was actually open. The system said other ones were open that still had locks on them! Do you not do walk throughs or move out checks to ensure the units are open? Also it would be nice if the card device actual worked to open the door. The facility is not very secure if you can just walk in through the sliding door!

Once I did that, I could get into the site. After that I kept getting errors on my alternate contact phone number and address, and everything else on that page. Finally after about 45 minutes, I was able to book on line. I am happy with everything else.

Justin S | Expérience généraleThis was the absolute worst uhaul experience ever. Not only did they try to change me for late fees the very first month. They claimed my card wouldn't go through even tho I set up autopay without anyone ever even trying to call me to let me know there was any issue. Mary wanted me to email her my card information. Who does that?! I'm not an idiot. I'm not going to send you my card information in an email. So then I take off work early to go in to fix the problem and guess what I didn't even give them my card it just magically worked when he clicked to "rerub" my card that was on file. Ridiculous. Then when I checked out they tried sending me yet another freaking bill with another late fee on it. I had to call the corporate number to straighten it out. Do not use this uhaul. Worst customer service ever!
