Have equipment fully updated without any notification lights on. I was told about the need for tire sensor to be replaced and explanation for the indicator message, but ideally equipment not fully updated should not be in use. I did not have any isssues with the function of the truck.

Staff are top notch. My family's farm burned down on Veterans Day. I've been living in hotels since then and have now moved away from the coast to live in the Boston area where my family resides. I so miss my friends and colleagues where I practiced law for many years. Keep up the good work.

I picked up our 15' truck and auto carrier from the U-Haul in Hixson, TN and drove it 1100 miles to the U-Haul rental and storage facility in Portsmouth, NH. The truck drove and handled great for the drive and the trailer was very easy to maintain and handle. Upon our arrival in Portsmouth the app made it very easy and convenient to return our truck to the drop off location after hours. We love U-Haul! Thanks for making our move easy and hassle free. -Beck

Something was going on with your computer systems the night I reserved the trailer and again in the morning when I picked it up...It took about 15-20 to reserve it with slow response..in the morning it took 30-45 minutes for me to get the papers to sign with slow to no response on the computers...When I picked it up the guy didn't really explain how to use the tie downs etc which would have been helpful...Returning went fine and quick with the employee using their cell phone to check me in..

Having used this U-haul location for moving and storage needs for about 7 years, I cannot recommend it enough as far as moving and storage solutions go. All the staff I've ever interacted with, in person and over the phone have always been courteous and helpful. The location manager was very kind and helpful when we decided to move out of our storage unit. Great customer service and very well-secured, clean facilities.

I planned to pick the truck up using my mobile phone, but I still had to go inside to get assistance, and there were 3 people in front of me. It was my understanding that a truck would be ready for me to sign out from my phone, but nothing was ready. You should not advertise the mobile checkout and check in if it is not really an option after all

I was disappointed that the 17' truck we ordered was not available but the desk agent at the Portsmouth location gave us a 20' truck instead and kindly reduced the per mile cost as a way to make us happy.

Jimmy was awesome. He was polite, professional and made sure my trailer was hitched and working properly. The trailer operated perfectly for the trip to FL. My only issue was with the tongue lock design. There is no option to lock the trailer onto the hitch. Nothing to keep the trailer from being unhitched and taken.

Another great experience at the Portsmouth, NH location! And in addition to the fast pick up and drop off, Jack changed my miserable mood with a few corny jokes! Jack had no idea of how his humor improved my day! I went from a scowl to a smile in minutes. He was certainly having fun with and at his job. At drop off, the gentleman who greeted me and processed the return was extremely efficient and completed the transaction within 5 minutes. Which was so appreciated as my friend, waiting in his car, was pressed for time. I have rented from this location at least 10 times in the past few years, today's was the best by far!

Walking all the way across the property to confirm the vehicle to then walk all the way back to the lock box to retrieve the key is really dumb. Let us get the key then find the car. It's like u-haul senior management has never actually rented a truck, and boy does it show. The app is total trash too. The PEOPLE at this location are always lovely.

The staff was helpful. We were told that there was an outside unit available and they would put a sign on the door. When we arrived 10 minutes later there was no outside storage available. The unit has no lighting, a staircase that protrudes into the unit and there is a small staircase and a corner turn to access. I have rented from UHaul for many years so this experience was a disappointment.

Great U-Haul location to work with - 400 Route US 1 Bypass,'Portsmouth, NH! My favorite.! And I've used UHaul around NH and around the US and Canada too.

Was charged for a dolly and a dozen furniture pads that I never asked for, nor did I use.

Rarely were there any material handling carts to use. Never enough staff working the counter. Encountered lines and long wait times while staff had to check in/out equipment or lockers. Recommend separate staff for these functions.

The staff were great. -When we moved everything out and picked up the tarp we had laid down, there was a lot of water underneath. Lucky we thought of laying the tarp. -It seems that our end unit was where all garbage and loose stuff was blown to. Maybe it wasn't possible to keep the parking area and driveway clean, but a little effort would have been nice.

Did the reservation thing a week prior. Ended up doing my storage the same night I got the truck with Samantha. Younger guy I dropped the keys off too seemed upset maybe she stole his sale. Either way they made money.

I had to unexpectedly move across the country. I could not be physically present to sign documents to let my stuff go and stop renting the unit. This particular location was extremely unhelpful and most of the time they seemed annoyed as if I, the customer, were a burden. I wouldn't recommend this location to my worst enemy. No one there communicates with each other. It took me 6+ months to get them to change my address. And basically more than a year to get them to stop hassling me to pay them for a storage unit I was no longer using. They hide behind policies and procedures to get out of doing the right thing for the customer. Finally someone contacted me and they seemed to have half a brain and they sent me a simple letter that I could sign and email back. How simple?! Why couldn't that have been done sometime in 2019? No, I battled with this location from 2019-2021. Unacceptable.

we used one of your truck to move items to another storage facility ...they did not come through and we were able to secure a storage space from U-Haul with very little notice. Gentleman in the office were wonderful!!!! I will recommend them with out hesitation... we will also be using this location to install a trailer hitch to our Jeep...

I would recommend this storage facility to anyone in the Portsmouth area. It is convenient and well maintained. I was particularly impressed with the staff's efficiency and professional knowledge during the months I rented with this U-Haul facility. The online check in doesn't work. The pin I was given doesn't work on the key pad, so I had to go into the store and get a key card. Which, the store was vacant for about 10 minutes just waiting for someone to come in to help me. The freight elevator was great to have and use.

The gentleman working at the uhaul facility on portsmouth nh on April 18th at 9 am was absolutely wonderful! He was kind, efficient, helpful, and enthusiastic. Especially during times like these, it was comforting to have such a friendly face to help me out. In terms of uhaul as a company, I was thrilled to receive my first month of storage for free. It really was a huge help in the midst of the pandemic.

The climate controlled storage was not controlled properly. All of our boxes and many other items show signs of high humidity including mildew. Read the fine print; 1 day or 30 days is the same price.

The only downside was the website is terrible and the system for bill paying from the bank had lits if errors. . Otherwise it was a great experience.

The staff and the facility were great. We did have some monthly issues with billing, as we were renting 2 units therefore paying 2 rental fees which were often credited to the wrong unit.

There was a delay in delivery. It had been scheduled for 9am, but the staff could "not find" our unit. I got the same message when I stopped by at around 1pm Finally, at 4pm it was delivered.
