Steven TI had scheduled to pick up a truck at 830 when I showed up I located the truck I went for the key and one of the workers had got there early and helped me get my key as I looked for the truck he indicated me that the truck in spot H was not my truck to take he then when inside when they opened at 9 and came out and showed me the truck I was supposed to take , glad that worker went to work early and was able to help me, other than that it would of been chaos trying to figure out what truck I was supposed to take …. Inconvenient that the app said one thing and the truck was parked else where

Nate HThe truck was completely out of gas when picked up-to the extent that we feared getting to a gas station. It had so much vibration in the steering wheel that my husband could barely hang on to drive the truck. The dollies and moving blankets we had reserved were not in the truck when we got to our moving destination. Apparently, this U-Haul location had run out, but we did not find that out until 40 miles away. We had to go rent both of those during the move somewhere else. It was very inconvenient. Returning the truck there was a homeless man setting up house on the driveway by the drop-off box. We would never use this location again. The movers we arranged through U-Haul (XPress Moving) were beyond wonderful!! They saved our lives and went the extra mile.

Karlo O | Expérience généraleFor seven years, I complained that our storage garage door was broken. The door wouldn't close all the way. The open 2 or 3 inches at the bottom let in all kinds of dust dirt water, and debris. Employees kept promising me that they would get it fixed. But it literally took seven years for them to finally fix it. By that time I was moving out to a higher quality storage garage at half the price. That is the main reason that I would not recommend U-Haul to anyone else. Non-responsive service, and too high-priced. Also, no one ever answers the phone at the local office. Literally never. It always rolls over to some kind of a national customer service center but they never have the answers that I need from the local location.

Mario SI would give a higher rating except my move in experience was frustrating. I was able to change my move in date however I was not able to access the unit. I ended up needing it two days earlier on a Sunday. The office was closed when I got there. I arrived at 6pm they close at 5pm. Not a problem accept that I had no access to the unit. No access code to get in, nothing. A 24 hour access facility should be that, accessible for 24 hrs. After driving all day from Nevada to Utah, hauling not just a loaded 20' van but towing a trailer as well, I was extremely disappointed and definitely not happy. I would suggest a system of sending the new tenant access codes and unit assignments via email or text. Weekends are when people typically move. When I came back the next day , the staff was very friendly and helpful.

CLAUDIO AWe rented 3 or 4 different units over the last 10 years or so. Most of the units kept most of the dirt out which was great, but our second last unit was terrible. We found leaves, trash and dirt that had blown in, and coated everything in soil and grime.

Ray MI drove 126 miles one mile short of allowed. I was given 127 miles on line, in person only got 119 and thus an extra mileage charge.
Jason BMy experience with this location was good, but the process of getting there was not. I was scheduled to pick up my equipment at another location, which was closed on Sunday, so I would be getting the key to the truck by opening a lockbox. The process of getting the combination the to box was horrible. I tried, with my phone, for 15 cold, frustrating minutes. I eventually gave up and called U Haul customer service. The representative tried, without success, for another15- 20 minutes to get me a combination that would work. Eventually she gave up. Fortunately, she found another U Haul location about 5 miles away, manned by a human, that had a truck. When I got there the service was excellent, but I ended up getting the truck about 45 minutes later than I had planned, and as a result lost two of the people who were going to help me load the truck. What a terrible way to start the day!

Kayla DThe gentleman who helped me when I first rented the Uhaul box truck was wonderful to work with. He was polite, had great customer service, and made the process very simple. However, upon returning to the same location, the building was empty and no one was inside or outside of the main building. I waited at least 5 minutes or more to make sure I returned the keys to someone and finally a younger kid drove up in a cart. When I told him no one was inside to help me, he literally said the word, "so" in such a rude tone. It was so unprofessional and I couldn't believe how I was treated. I hope no one else is treated that way by the staff.
Robert SNothing to really report on how it went. He asked, how can I help? I said I need to drop off a car. He had me hand him the keys and said you're good to go. I was expecting more of a conversation, but overall not bad experience at the provo location. Still will not ever go through U-Haul.
haeli sThis business was open at 7am and was able to take the trailer rental off my hands. Informed me I was going to be charged additional fee for not taking to STAR TOWING which didnt open until 10am which certainly wasn't conducive to my return trip. 3 wasted hours of my time. I chose another business open at 7am. Dave Nelson

I had to go out of my way to come back just to move my vehicle to a new location and they wouldn't refund the extra time remaining on my lease for the month (for which I had another 15 days remaining).

The facility went drastically down hill with theft, vandalism, trash and garbage left in our vehicles. Having to vacate the facility for some made up reason that was not enforced across the board is infuriating. If everything in outside storage had to be out by the end of the month why was over 70 % outside storage still there after the 30th? Seems selective and targeted. I will not be recommending renting anything from uhaul. It was a great clean and secure facility until uhaul bought it.

Robert DI have an inside unit and was promised that I would always have light in the unit. When the hallway lighting was changed to a sensor and new fixtures installed, the inside light no longer functioned. I have called several times about the issue--left 2 messages through Customer Service for the location manager. Never called back! When I have had to switch the credit card on file and have overlooked updating my information, notification is sent out ti the emergency contact first rather that contacting the unit owner first. By the time the notification is sent to the owner, it arrives after the due date. Owner then has to pay late fees. Even after paying the late fees and visiting a week later, I still found the facility lock on the unit with a late fee notification. I definitely won't recommend this location--too many issues that don't get resolved until you are able to find a live person!

Rachelle MAfter completing my online rental I chose not to purchase insurance. I've used the rental trucks several times and always pick this option. I know I selected no insurance because the website asks if you are "sure you'd like to drive without insurance" before allowing you to fully pick the option. After reading over my receipt in the rental truck I realized they charged me for insurance. The check out lady must've added it during my check in process. Unfortunately there was no way for them to see when it was added and because I drove off the lot they couldn't reimburse it. They then proceeded to charge me for a utility dolly that I did not use and again did not discuss this with me prior to charging my card. I had to call Uhual customer service afterwards and it took 30 minutes to get that refunded. Not super pleasant. Check your receipt fully before allowing them to charge.

Credit card company explicitly said Uhaul was at fault for locking my card account, but Uhaul management was unrepentant which is just sad.

Getting in and out of it isn't fun and parking a block away because the tiny lot is full sucks. Aside from that, this would be my favorite UHaul location and I would consider using it more often for projects.

I've not had a problem there at any of the facilities I have used that wasn't resolved quickly, with complete satisfaction. I have used U-Haul a number of times over the years in different places as my "go to" place for short or long term storage needs, and highly recommend it.

Manuel G | Premières impressionsTwice, U-Haul called us to confirm our reservation and chose a city in Idaho instead of Utah, even though I had never requested a city in Idaho. Each time, I confirmed a dolley was part of the reservation and then when we opened the truck at our storage facility, there wasn't a dolley. When we finally went back and talked to the worker about it at the front desk, he said he never saw a dolley on our registry although the guy at our U-haul storage said he saw it and saw that we had been charged. Additionally, the U-Haul wasn't completely full of gas so when we had to fill it up to return it, we had to fill it all the way and when we told the guy at the front desk, he didn't offer a refund or anything. I was disappointed by how unorganized this experience was. I also wish we would've had the option to drop the truck off outside of store hours like we've been allowed to do before. It was just super inconvenient

Tanya I | Premières impressionsI fell into hard times and was going through a divorce and I got way behind on the payment and didn't want to lose my belongings so I spoke with the manager and I was offered a deal to make a payment and then have my belongings out of the locker in 24 hours. Because of transportation problems I wasn't gonna be able to get there until the next morning and the manager said that was unacceptable, She also denied my offer to make the payment over the phone that very afternoon and then remove my belongings the next day. I realize that I was behind with the monthly payments but I believe that what I offered to resolve the situation was absolutely reasonable but U-Haul and the staff was bound and determined to confiscate my property and that's what they did and now I've lost everything which includes sacred belongings that was my late mother and father's that was gonna be handed down to my children to keep my parents spirit alive. That was very low and dirty to do to someone especially when I was prepared to comply with the offer made by U-Haul management and I told them I can comply but like I said, they had they're minds made up to keep my things.

I had walked all the way back to the office and the employee had no idea how that had happened but proceeded to help me reserve another unit. The only unit available was a bigger one (10x10) and i had to pay more to get that unit. I believe that was very unfair how i had to pay more for something that wasn't my fault & how i had previously reserved that unit and it wasn't an obligation to make sure their system was up to date with who is using what units. It makes me feel very worried about my items safety.

The people who live on site are super rude and unhelpful. This location was convenient to my home, but I would rather drive a ways to have better management and kinder treatment . But on closing the account they would not prorate the payment to cover only the few days used. This is a rip-off. I consider it a form of theft that will definitely affect the way I talk to others about U-Haul. A very sad, stupid policy that dramatically diminishes an otherwise good experience.

They offered us two smaller units (combined size still smaller than what we needed) but wouldn't charge us the price of the one we had originally reserved but instead charged us the higher price of the two combined. First off though the door on the units were so small that we couldn't even fit a couch through it, and then when we looked in the first unit, there was still stuff in there. Very unprofessional. We should have been contacted prior to our move in date to be made aware that the storage unit we reserved wasn't actually available. It was all very unprofessional and we ended having to take our business elsewhere

The only thing was one of the Employees of Uhaul pulled in and parked right behind me. He was dropping something off. I had to really make a tight 8 point maneuver to get by him. He offered to moved and just took longer than I could wait.

When I asked if I could be refunded I was told no. They even told me that they lacked the technical capabilities to refund a card which is a flat out lie. Be careful renting a space here. In fact, just rent somewhere else where ethical business practices are followed.

Clark P | Expérience généraleI had been a long time customer that went thru many different associates there I had inquired on cost for an RV spot and had no problem with it Yet when I ask for a spot for an RV I'm told it must be registered , licensed and insured which was never part of the vehicle storage requirements I know that hardly any if any at all of the vehicles out back are licenced So I cleaned out my unit and found a cheaper place for storing my RV which I will use as my unit for now Doubt I will be back again any time in the future 5 to 7 managers come and gone in my time there and I get treated like a bulb off the streets No thanks

Other places you just punch a code and get in so that was a negative for me thank you

But 6 days is just plain greedy . I tried to set up automatic payments when we checked in and they couldn't do it . And told me to come back and do it later. When they got there they were told all that was available was a 10x15. Makes so sense since we confirmed a reservation for a 10x20. No one at any point told us "you have a reservation, but not an actual reservation" we asked for another smaller unit to compensate but there was nothing else available. You're "reservation" system is a joke, we felt completely screwed over. We had to scramble and find other locations to store things. We also had to spend about 45 more minutes unloading to fit as much as we could. A mess.

You credited a month of payment (thank you), but it didn't fully compensate for the damage. This unit (L781) has a big problem with roll-up door. You have to try and push it up to just the right height to make it stay open. Staff has always been very professional, very helpful and courteous.

I had to find your number to call the desk for a lock and it was a pain trying to find the correct storage unit online even though I was standing right there in the very place I needed the number for. That said, I want to point out the manager for the last several years (Maggie) has been a standout in all of my associations with Uhaul in all of my travels. She somehow always has a cheerful disposition even under the stressful operations. As I recall she had little to no experience when she started but quickly picked up all the necessary skills in management and leadership and I think has has a loyal following their but at least from my perspective.
