I rent from Reese and Daryl every year for the summers mostly. I'm not even saying to promote them… they're like family. Literally. I can use the word love when I talk about them. If you're going to use a Uhaul, go to Rockville Centre.

The gentleman who was working with the trucks (I think his name was Ronald) quickly got my truck ready and cleaned it before he handed it off to me. In addition - the website portal worked great. One recommendation - would be to have a means of communication between the service rep at the desk and in the yard to give them a heads up a customer who is renting a truck is ready.

The representative hands a smart phone that has tiny writing you can't see. I signed up for the app and it is also useless in speeding anything up.

I did not realize this until I was half way through my trip, when I finally figured out why so many cars were honking at me when I tried to change lanes. This was a dangerous situation. When I stopped the vehicle and called the uhaul place, the desk person said that I needed to call road side assistance and wait for them to show up and change the light bulb. I did not want to wait for hours for roadside assistance to fix something that should not have been broken if these vans were properly maintained in the first place! I requested an adjustment to my final bill for the worry and inconvenience. I am waiting to hear from a supervisor.

They booked me for a drop-off location and the truck was refused by that location. Had to get customer service to find me a new drop off location for the truck. They told me I had to drop off in NJ!!!!!!

RUBY Dubois | Premières impressionsJust one complaint: The elevator is an old-style service elevator requiring the outer steel door and the inner steel gate to be opened to enter and closed to move the elevator and the reverse to leave the elevator. The outer steel door is especially cumbersome to operate. The elevator alone would cause me to recommend a newer public storage facility to my friends. I want to emphasize that the staff are EXCELLENT. However, there are too few of them since U-HAUL expects customers to rent, sign in, and sign out by the Internet on our phones while being present at U-HAUL so we could take pictures of our storage facility/rental vehicle. Pictures is a good idea. I am not complaining about that.

Unit had no individual light and the sensors in the hall went off quickly. The walls in the unit had holes and the doors were ntlot flush so you could easy into all the units with ease.

Management is to be commended for this as well.

Bill became Past Due because of a problem on your website which would not allow me to use my credit card for payment. On 11-27-21, at 1:25p ET called 1-800-GO-UHAUL. Reached "Elizabeth" at the Call Center. Explained my dilemma with your website. She processed the credit card payment for me. After completing processing she told me that she was "unable to provide a confirmation or transaction number because the payment is pending." End result, NO PAYMENT RECORDED. Thus, necessitating my phone call to U-Haul RVC on 11-29-21.

She felt challenged challenged because a product that she recommended was not received with enthusiasm and later sought to pull rank and punish us by insisting we should go up and take a photograph of the room even though it was busy and a staff member was willing and able to go inspect the vacatied room. She was utterly combative and unprofessional. Poor customer sevice. Unlike what she purported in the video which is what appealed to me when I was shopping around. She certainly did a poir show of representating the company.

There were a few that were very helpful, and I would like to commend Mish on his help with trying to get the elevator working up to par, and quickly assisting us on getting out of the building. I do not plan on utilizing Uhaul for future business.

For six months now I have been having major problems with my payments -- checks are lost and then posted 6 months late, checks take weeks and weeks to post, and no one knows what is going on or has any interest in finding out. I had to come personally to the facility to straighten out my account, and then ANOTHER check appeared and was posted 6 months after I sent it in. When I texted the manager (as he had asked me to do about any issued), he has never responded. VERY VERY FRUSTRATING.

Although I would like to stay at this storage facility I need to find one that is cleaner and more conducive to storing my wardrobe. My clothing has mold on it and many fine pieces of clothing, especially leather clothing and shoes is ruined. Moreover, the freight elevator is inconvenient and clumsy for getting to my space and for moving stored items.
