Christina HardieThe only reason that I used the unit was because it was free for one month, otherwise it was WAY too expensive for what it was.! I got the same size unit elsewhere for almost half the price that U-Haul requires. Too, it was not maintained well. The latch/ locking mechanism on the unit was almost impossible to deal with. Also, trying to get in around all of the employee vehicles was a pain! Just how many people work there? Their vehicles block access to free movement. Not a good experience.

MITCHELL MILLINSI am disappointed in the southern engineering of the wiring harness to connect to the trailer. Running wire through the back hatch and closing the hatchdoor on those wires is sub-rate. Such a practice cannot help but shorten the life and viability of those wires. Also, I asked for round seven and found flat four installed. The price was indeed less than the quote, but so was the workmanship. All agents were friendly enough, but I believe the result is less than desirable.

Tonya GriffinI was given a truck that was on empty was told if I brought it back on a quarter of a tank I'd be reimbursed $26 and any miles I hadn't paid for in which I wasn't given the $26 back..I also mistakenly left 2 flats to a bed on the truck and when I called was told they weren't there..the truck was reserved they said they'd call the people who had truck to look for anything left and call me back. No one from uhaul ever called me back or got my flats to the bed that I know was on the truck so I just feel they didn't care about my items or care to follow up. And the workers driving trucks to the front need to slow down I also almost got hit when one was coming around corner from the back and didn't care to slow down. This is just my personal experience

Dale WernerWhen I went to drop off my trailer in San Angelo, I stood in the drop off lane with the siren blowing several times but no one was showing up. After it went off a third time I walked to the building and saw a young man sitting behind a desk. He did not greet me. I asked him if anyone knew I was there. He said yes, but that people were busy helping other customers. Then he offered to help me. I offered him my rental contract but he said he didn't need it. He unhooked my trailer and apologized for my wait. I've never been ignored at a Uhaul store like that. Just sayin'...

Donna ButlerThe equipment was ok. Customer service was very disappointing. To begin with I waited at the desk for about ten minutes while the guys were talking in the back and eventually had to go get them. They were having a good time and weren't minding the store. My second disappointment came when a friend who had helped me move tried to exchange a pair of gloves that he calmed to learn after he wore them wreaked of mildew. Most on the rack for sale did. They had been opened but were in good condition except for the odor. My friend was told he could not exchange them because the guy behind the counter named Angel was not authorized. My friend let it go but I was appalled at Angels attitude and lack of knowing how to provide the courtesy of providing a contact that could authorize anything. For these reasons I was highly dissatisfied with the service at U haul and was not surprised that I had heard that the workers were discussing how slow it had been in the store and their hopes for a busy year in 2024. Clearly Angel is not someone who wants to be there which is sad for all the people who may frequent U-Haul in the future. I don't plan to be one of them and this could have been rectified by a simple five dollar exchange and some common courtesy.

And if I was ever so much as a day late paying, I would get rude, threatening emails about confiscating my stuff and kicking me out. I have a credit score of 822 - I would never skip out on owed payment. Yet the rude emails made me feel like a beggar. I will not be recommending your facility to anyone I care for. Merci.

But the place is overburdened. I don't like to go there because it takes a very long time for service. There aren't enough employees for the amount of customers.

Brenda Sides | Expérience généraleThe unit was dirty as can be when I arrived and over the 2 months I had my items stored there they became absolutely covered in dirt that fell from the ceiling. If I didn't have a plastic cover over my mattress and vehicles seats they would have been ruined. Not a terrible experience but nothing was said about the dirt to me prior to moving my personal belongings in which definitely should have happened. Additionally, there were no lights in the unit itself which was unfortunate but a lock was provided to me so that was nice, didn't have to purchase or use my own.
