cecil dThe system was down, I drove 4hours with my family from out of town to help me move.The team at this location seem uninterested initially with helping me instructing me to come back later. I let them know I drove along way to move today at that this was a 1,5 hour inconvenience to me. I called customer service- the man eventually hung up and was unable to send me the self check in link! When I finally was able to "self check myself in" to get the keys to a vehicle assigned online- the uhaul had NO GAS IN IT! Worst experience I WILL NOT BE RENTING ANOTHER UHAUL EVER!

Naayesha LWhen I went to leave, the low tire pressure light was on. I went inside as I was concerned. I was told that all their vehicles are shoeing that warning. Well I needed to proceed with my trip as I had a schedule to meet. When I arrived at my destination, the tire looked low in air. I had payed for the road side assistance so I called for help. The young man that came to the house noted that the tire was very low in air and proceeded to add air. I asked him to please look at the tire for nails. Well he left and the warning disappeared. The next morning I noted that the warning came back on! Since the van was now loaded and a 7 hour trip layed ahead, I called for help and explained the situation. This time the service person came equipped with a replacement tire. I told him to change it and he noticed there was a screw embedded in the thread of the tire! I was happy the issue was found and resolved but this delayed my trip by a couple of hours. I reported this upon returning the van and the response was, it will be noted. I will never again rent a vehicle with a tire pressure warning no matter what I am told. The vehicles should be inspected prior to rental! The tire could have blown! Thank God my first part of the trip was with an unloaded vehicle!

Arthur CI had the most frustrating experience with U-Haul and will definitely not be using again. I made a reservation for a 20 foot box truck and when I went to the location to pick up the truck the workers told me they had no trucks available. While in the store I heard many of customers also be told their reservations were not being held up on U-Hauls end. I made reservations a week in advance and somehow was not able to leave with a truck. To make things worse the employees told me there was nothing they could do but give me a phone number to their traffic line which I sat on hold with for 35 minutes before being told they had nothing available within a 40-50 mile radius. Not having a box truck and waiting around the U-Haul store for two hours was a huge inconvenience in our moving process. I would not recommend U-Haul to any friends or family, I am more likely going to tell people how frustrating and confusing my experience was with the company while trying to move my mother's belongs after her passing.

Peter WReset the outside review mirrors. After aligning the windows and driving for a while, the windows readjust making it very difficult to see automobiles behind you and your blind spots. Otherwise, a very good experience.
Virginia SThere are two entrances. The lights should automatically come on regardless of which entrance you use. It only works on one end. Wandering up the corridor in darkness to get the lights to work is not acceptable. One entrance had trash people had left piled high. Explains why there are so many rat boxes around. Needs to be much cleaner and well kept for the price.

Shawn TThe young lady who helped us was nice enough, but young man who was doing returns when we picked upC was very unprofessional, he was using profanity calling the young lady a "fuck nigga" and dropping the f bomb over and over while we were standing there with our daughter. Although we knew they were just bantering it was really disrespectful and unprofessional! The truck itself was in good condition, the moving blankets were sprawled all over the floor but we folded them and put them in the bag for the next person this truck also didn't have a dolly which made things a lot more difficult. Overall I definitely would chose a different location the next time we need a truck!
TRACY CI rented 15' truck. The day rate is absolutely fine, but the ,99 cent per mile add up and make it a sour experience. I drove from Savannah to Atlanta and back. I paid total of 680$ for a beat up truck, this is way overpriced. 60 bugs for the truck, the rest is for mileage. Nuts, for a piece of junk without a working air conditioner.

Jacob JTHE TPMS indicator light was on … but we were reassured that all the tires were fully functional … there was a slow leak in the driver side rear tire in the valve stem …. Somehow but the Grace of God and after filling the tire with air twice - we made it 500 miles . The strap on the auto transport also said was safe , but it was not …. Could and would have been a deadly disaster , but God saved us AGAIN !

Gave me an inside storage that was already rented with other people belongings in it , didn't activate the key card which prolonged the process , didn't give instructions on how to operate the storage card and system etc. The store manager was nice and intervened after I came back in the store for the 4th time .

The neighbors constantly left there stuff on my space and when management was told nothing was done. The rearranging of the entrance was also Spain. The only communication was for the monthly fee. Lastly, I never received a new gate opener. Had to get in and out of my vehicle to enter a code.

Sometimes the storage area was picked up and free of debris and other times it was not. Some folks made their own parking spaces as well. Additionally, trucks, trailers, and trash were positioned so as to make it impassable with my truck and rv.

The unit we had had NO working lights and our unit we in the middle. So i needed to where a head light just so i could use the unit. We i inquired about the NO lights they told me they already know about it. 3 week later still no light, So I asked again when will it be fixed. The response "Whenever we get to it" So again in the dark I moved out. This is unacceptable service. There seems to be no urgency among the crew at this location. The location does well in spite of the current staff.

I submitted all the necessary photos and information the day before my unit renewed and then was billed twice after for the unit. And, after the first bill, I called and asked that the issue be fixed because I fulfilled all my requirements. To be billed again after that is ridiculous. Then, I had to be redirected multiple times on a 10 minute phone call trying to confirm my unit was closed, which it should have been weeks ago. Disappointed and will not return

A 10 minute process turned into 30 minutes because the two staff members could not stop talking to each other. The man helping us told us to wait for him to come back with a lock. At about 5 minutes past close, we realized he had forgotten us and had likely left for the day. The staff ignored us when we tried to get their attention about the issue. Thankfully, the storage unit was clean and access was easy. I am looking forward to not having to interact with the staff again for a long time.

When I have a reservation, I expect you to have what I reserved. You shouldn't have confirmed my reservation if you couldn't deliver what was promised. This put me in a tough spot because now I had a 26 ft uhaul full of all my belongings and no where to put it.

Janette D | Expérience généraleI've used uhaul for year's off and on this was my first bad experience and some of the staff aren't customer service friendly some off my items was taking out of a storage i lost some thing's that held sentimental value the guy Jeremy isnt to pleasant he got mad cause i wouldn't move my car one time i was up there cause i was trying to figure out where my items were and every time since than when i come in there he wouldn't help me one time he said something smart this last time he wasnt doing nothing and he wouldn't help me he told the other young man to do it when he wasn't busy I think the young man name was jamel he was very respectful and helpful shay was friendly and helpful as well but the one stand out the most is Anthony Howard he took time to really find out what happened and spoke to me with concern him overall is my mvp Sherrie was ok she tried but i still say Mr Howard held my ordeal the best

I often could not get through to the local office and corporate office didn't have control over what needed to be done. I was billed late fees both times and it took me several hours to handle closing my accounts. The local staff was pleasant and helpful once I got through but it can be very difficult to call and get someone at the Ogeechee office.
Brook S | Expérience généraleRegarding the staff: Da'rian (he works with the trucks) and his trainee, helped us from the moment we walked in, and they were courteous and very willing to work us. They were way more helpful than the clerks whose job is was to handle storage facilities. The two clerks, a young lady and man, were slow and disconnected from us. At one point, I had no idea the young man was speaking to me because he and the young lady were laughing and joking like there was some kind of inside joke we weren't privy to. It was uncomfortable for me as a patron. Finally, he asked me directly to give him a code. I had no idea he wanted this from me because he was just saying "four digit number" without directly addressing me. The two clerks weren't outright rude, but their demeanor and the looks they gave each other made it seem like we were the focus of a joke. Again, it was really uncomfortable for my husband and me and not how customers should be made to feel after spending nearly $200 in their facility. Additionally, when they learned that I had rented a 5x5x7 locker, they immediately tried to upsell me on a larger locker, which is fine, I wanted the next size up, but there were none available. And the only storage locker, besides the one we were renting, was way too big for what we needed. When we asked to see our locker, we're were told again it was small, like a linen closet or a pantry. Again, I realize upselling is a part of the sales process, but they had nothing else to offer me that was suitable for my needs. I asked if there was a waiting list for the larger size, and instead of speaking to me, she told Da'rian, "I don't think they do that." Now, after all the upselling the young lady was trying to do, she wouldn't ask if there was a waiting list for a larger locker. Again, she didn't directly engage me-the customer-and at that point we had been there about 45 minutes, so I didn't have anymore time to waste hunting down that answer. Also, we had purchased 10 boxes, but no one came out to the floor to assist us. My husband had to cut the plastic straps himself, and we literally could've taken as many boxes as we wanted since nobody was paying attention to us or assisting us with this part of our purchase. We just took our 10 boxes and left-we addressed them by thanking them and saying goodbye, but we didn't receive any salutation from the staff.

The reps online needs to be more knowledgeable of their job.I literally had to call about 4 times,spoke to someone different each time and my orders still was not accurate.

I always had to park in a space other than the one I rented. The code to raise the gate seldom worked. Infact most of the time the gate was just left open during business hours because it didn't work. When I went inside to get help there was always a long wait to get any help so I usually just gave up and left. You have a nice facility. You have good employees that want to do a good job. Fix what's broken, the gate and staff your facility so that customer will spend money instead of walking out.
