The truck that the employee showed me to and got me the keys for was not the truck that showed up on the self checkout. The truck that I was in started at 7766 miles and when I put the final miles in at 7824 the checkout told me that the miles couldn't be that because it was lower than starting.

I think that the daily rental fee for a 15 ft Uhaul was a little on the expensive side , and seems as though when calling to extend another day, it just got pricier than I would have expected. Employees were kind and competent , so that was nice . I'd like it to be about 1/3 the cost though .

Lights would intermittently fail on trailer I rented for over minute long stretches. Made a point of telling the attendant and it was well received but my impression was it was a known issue with that trailer and it was low priority for them.

I've been into the Soldotna location a number of times in preparation for my move. I've always had amazing customer service. Not only have all the employees been incredibly helpful, they've always been very kind and accommodating. 10/10

I would recommend folks to go to any of the other two local U-Haul stores before Soldotna store. The staff is nonchalant and lazy. The trail I rented was in snow that was neither shoveled or plowed, blamed on their broken snow plow truck. Then the trailer itself was covered in snow, including the bed area. But hey I was told it would all blow out going down the road, excuse me, get a shovel and clean it out, which didn't get done. Unfortunately I needed the motorcycle trailer to haul back a motorcycle I was purchasing the next day. I shoveled out the trailer and cleaned all the snow off, none which blew out going down the road, when I got home. I also parked the trailer inside my garage to thaw it out. I did make the 3,5 hour round trip without issue, so kuddo's to the trailer serving it purpose on icy and at times rough roads. Will say the drop off and checkout of the trailer wasn't as painful, different person.

with the exception of getting my license scan, which i take great Umbridge to, the people at this location were positive and very helpful. the issue with getting my license scanned, that information is not of any business to any corporation.it has made employees lazy, as far as entering information into a computer. and i feel if this information gets sold, without my permission and or i get hacked or scammed, because of said information being taken, this corporation or any other corporation should be held liable to the fullest extent of the law. .. .

The whole process was so unfriendly and just completely wrong. When I authorize a certain amount for U-Haul to hold on my card for example $166 I expect that to be held not $183. Everytime U-Haul put a block on my card I was always charged a min $20 more than I authorized and U-Haul tells me that is my bank adding more but no my bank name isn't U-Haul. The professionalism upon the first day with the trailer and truck was horrible. The manager I believe was just outright rude and disrespectful and screaming profanities now I was over charged I probably will never rent from U-Haul again your a scam and steal people's money. The floor mats in the truck were spic and span and shiny black but they were as slippery as ice. Recommend for liability purposes you use a different product.

Excellent !!!! All staff helpful and polite. Location was easy to get to, center if town. All facilities clean and well maintained. I was a client for about 8 years, finally found room at my house after rehoming many thing. I realized I would never need again.

Another excellent outlet in Soldotna, Alaska. Truck returns were handled quickly. Truck reservation and rental activity was also seamless and quick with knowledgeable staff.

Overall not terrible but we ran into a few issues. My payment didn't go through for some reason and a day later our keycard didn't work to allow us to get in. Okay understandable. We went to the desk and paid for the month only to find out that a second lock had been placed on the unit. We went back to the desk and the attendant was assisting another customer so we asked that he remove the lock and told him we would be back soon. When we came back the lock was still there and we had to ask again for it to be removed. Seems a bit overkill for a payment that was ONE day late especially since it showed I had attempted to pay it on time. The hours also aren't the best and it's inconvenient to be limited on when you're able to access your belongings. Overall not terrible and everyone working there was helpful and friendly for the most part. We just found it unsettling that after such a short time a lock would be put on the unit without a call or notice that the payment didn't go through.

I originally reserved the equipment at the Kenai location a week in advance, when I went to pick up, it was not ready and had to drive to Soldotna to get one! Ended up costing an extra day and more miles!!

Staff at the Soldotna U-Haul location were extremely helpful. The facility felt secure at all times and our belongings were even left unsupervised often as we hauled our belongings from the rental truck to our storage unit. There are also several carts you can use in the building to haul your belongings into your unit. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 stars is when we moved out, we let one of the gentleman know we were leaving and asked if he'd be able to close out our account. He said yes and we were still charged for units we were not using. It was an easy fix though because we called and they were able to reverse the charges right away and get us officially closed out. Otherwise, Soldotna's storage unit services exceeded my expectations.

Dont sell u-haul locks at your store if your not allowed to use them on your storage lockers. So they told me that I had to buy 2 round locks if I want to rent the storage there. I was FORCED TO BUY
