Installer (David) was knowledgeable and efficient and a pleasure to work with. Only complaint is with the administration system. My appointment was changed without my knowledge from thursday at 10 to wednesday at 11. They tried to phone me of the change on Tuesday but had my number wrong, I did get a do not reply email on tuesday evening "reminding" me of my Wednesday appointment . Left me uncertain about UHaul. My meeting with David reassured me and all went well.

Very impressed with Meghan. She opened the doors promptly at 9:00. There were 4 customers waiting. She greeted all of us with a smile. Most impressively, she was able to check in 2 clients simultaneously! She bounced back and forth with skill and ease and got us all processed with great efficiency. True customer service.

I think that a customer paid a full month on the storage an only used one week instead of four they should get those extra weeks that they didn't use reimbursed. You keeping that money and then re- renting the spot again, you making double the money on one spot. Not fair 

Drop off couldn't have been easier. They have it down to s science. Pulled in, the attendant went over the vehicle with us. We went into the office to sign the paperwork and on our way. The process couldn't have taken 10 minutes.

Had to find truck by myself, truck door would not close properly, was told truck didn't come with a lock so had to buy a lock and then went and found the truck and it had a lock on it. Overall bad service.

The man who installed the hitch was very personable and customer friendly. Hitch was installed in the timeframe expected but, unfortunately wiring kit he had was not the correct one. He was very apologetic for the mistake, said he would order the correct wiring kit, which would take a week to be delivered. He knew that I lived 60 miles away, so the said I wouldn't be charged the $50 for the wiring installation next week. It was an unexpected goodwill gesture.

This facility is OUTSTANDING ACROSS THE BOARD‼️ I had this unit just days short of 4 YEARS. MUCH LONGER THAN I HAD INTENDED. I had the opportunity to interact with this staff on a monthly basis. On my move in/ out I also rented a truck and equipment. I just don't have enough positive remarks to say. The staff was CONSISTENTLY pleasant, helpful and willing/;ABLE to answer all of my questions and concerns. Jessie and Julia were particularly helpful to me during some difficult turns in the road throughout the time I had this unit. I can honestly say the West Springfield U-Haul staff raise the bar in outstanding customer service at a time when it's become a lost part of our society. IF only everywhere I went and everyone I encountered in my daily affairs were so bright, pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful our world would be a better place. This facility is consistently sparkling clean as well. If I could give these folks 10 stars I would. They all deserve it. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for making both of these traditional times in my life as smooth as they possibly could be. Please know you made a difference in my life if only for brief moments in time. I would not hesitate to use West Springfield U-Haul if the need arises again and I HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone in need of any of the services you provide. You indeed have a great bunch of human beings working here. All my very best regards to each and everyone of you and a deep and sacred bow for the outstanding service I received here. I did happen to have an issue with the store in chicopee ma. The gentleman that was on the counter on Saturday the 20th. I have a pay pal credit card and he without trying it said he can't take the card, because it not a credit cars in his world. I told him that I rented before with the same card and he told me not here in this store. Long story short he was condescending and rude. So I went to west Springfield and that gentleman was great he tried the card took it and I was off on my merry way. But it was 15 minutes on the other side of the city so it was a bit of an inconvenience.

Received the equipment with Gas almost on empty and the expectation was to return at 1/4 tank. Equipment should be expected to be returned as it was received and if over expectation, a discount should be honored, not over charged.

Scheduled access to two storage box a week in advance. Show up the morning of and they claim it was never scheduled for one of the boxes, and there's no way to override the computer to pull a box from the warehouse with less than 24 hours notice. Forced to schedule for the following day and hire a second mover to unload the second box. Show up the second morning and the warehouse guy is like "oh, this was actually scheduled for yesterday." When yesterday we were told it was never scheduled. So you just wasted us several hundred dollars for no reason. Now strongly considering asking my credit card company to reverse the shipping charge to cover the cost of the extra movers we had to hire because your people are so incompetent.

The staff were 50/50 on the scale of helpful and friendly. Lyniesha is the ONLY nice person there that I've been personally talking to there for help or anything. One manager there said they would refund my $31,99 - this has been a year of empty promises and unanswered phone calls to the office (12/11/2022 -12/11/2023) and still no word or anything to indicate that they're doing something to help fix this. Manager's name is Owen Gagnon or Tucker Owens. If you are able to get this resolved that would bring ALL of my scores to 5 stars, my phone number is 407-556-5470. Other than that, and being unable to talk to a live human being on the phone (corporate) for this issue, I'm still satisfied with U-Haul

The only reason I changed to another storage facility is because of the ceiling size and the lack of availability of larger units. I had another storage unit in Wilbraham along with this one, and unfortunately I couldn't consolidate them both into U-Haul. So I sadly, and I'm not happy about the choice, had to choose one because of the cost. Once I reduce the contents of the other place, I will be back for sure. Thank you for such great service and a wonderful place.

The passenger side mirror was not adjustable, therefore I had difficulties backing up and seeing out of it on the highway. Other than that, it was perfect for the size of my move.

This was the easiest move ever!! We've moved a bunch of times and had used other methods such PODS and a 26' truck. Boxes were fresh and clean. Drivers were courteous, timely and professional. And the cost was very reasonable. Je recommande fortement ce service.

I have rented before when Home Depot is out of rental trucks. The price was comparable in the past. This time I decided to get insurance which I knew would raise the cost to approx $45. He charged me $68 because he added the estimated mileage (15mi) which he said would be reduced if I used less mileage. I was still charged $68 but only went about 9 miles. I was also charged an additional $25 for who knows what. I was too disgusted to call and ask. I will not use your services again. I'll go to another Home Depot in a neighboring town for a rental truck.

Process was painless. Went in on Monday to reserve it. Picked it up on Tuesday. Dropped it off on Thursday. Truck was clean and ran like a charm for 350 miles. Le personnel était amical et serviable. Would go there again!

The only thing I would suggest is blanket 24 hour access, subject to reasonable conditions. People have varying schedules, & this would eradicate need to approve or deny special permission access except in the rarest instances.

raised my monthly payments without telling me or notifying me & just taking auto pay out of bank accnt. was a loyal customer for 3 years and got taken advantage of. the general manager did reimburse like 50-60 which i appreciate but it’s nothing compared to the thousands i spent renting with u-haul. also the other day i rented a u-haul truck they told me it’d be 9,34$ it ended up being like 50$ something i have the receipt and plan to call i’ve just been extra busy moving. but would love to speak with owen again my number is 4133122904 thank you :)

I would've rated an excellent if it wasn't for the mediocre customer service and knowledge of the business. Also, the off loading into the storage facility should be "policed". Customers have left their cars parked there unattended for hours and not in the facility.

They be calling you for money even after you put in. Your move out date and they were to process it within 48 and nope still nothing. 9 days later they call you for money and you had to tell them you put in a move out and sent pictures.

I have no complaints about the staff, cleanliness, and general maintenance of the space. Thank you. The limited nighttime hours, though, was a disappointment, and the key pass arrangement was confusing and bothersome. Some signage explaining rules was wrong making it hard to know "what to do and whom to call" after the office closed. Also the requirement to purchase a specific lock was petty, and the way staff (management) communicated that (blocking out my lock) was annoying.

My main concern as to why I have left this property is, the issues of my account and access being granted to someone listed as an emergency contact. When I put them as the emergency contact I did not give permission for billing and access to be granted to them. They were receiving all of my info monthly and I was not receiving any corespondents. Please have the owner of this facility contact me.

The unit was great and all staff were nice. However not being reimbursed for unused time that was already paid for, is a bad practice. I already paid for a month that I am not using, and you can rent out the unit and get a month's rent from someone else, double dipping. This practice seems unfair to loyal customers.

The only reason I didn't give an "excellent" rating was your credit for unused month policy. I paid for the full month of October on 10/2 and emptied the unit on October 11 but was told there was no partial month credit for the unused 3 weeks. That was disappointing. Everything other than that was just about perfect. Great job all.

Reserved a unit with the impression that i had 24/7 access After i signed the contract and paid my fee the employee brought me to the unit.. once he opened the unit the alarm went off and then told me that they dont have any cards. i was not given a code to use either. i was also told they were open until 8, when i showed up at 7:05 the employees watched me walk up to the door and left in their cars.

Our only issue is that we moved out of the unit 12 days before the end of the month and the rent was not prorated. Like every other place, including the Post office issued a refund. UHaul should too.

Get your stuff together. I asked for a truck with a ramp. Get to the house to move, no ramp on the truck! Made moving very very very hard. Not enough space to explain everything else you did wrong.

After 6-8 months of renting a 10X10 unit I downgraded to a 5X10 unit which costs $89.99.But after a couple more months I was charged $104,99 for the unit before Ins and not sure why? Never told WHY?

Everything and everyone are great. But the doors to storage opened before I swiped my card allowing anyone into the facility. Swiping the card should open the doors making it more secure.

My storage unit got flooded every time it rained, I kept all my belongings at this location while I found a place for my family and a lot of my belongings were ruined. Unexpected for this brand.

UHaul makes it hard to get a full UBox back. (1) By 11am day before delivery still no time estimate, so cd not schedule movers. (2) No sameday pickup; storage units won't let it stay overnight.

I didn't use the facility. I had two U-Boxes delivered/picked up at my location. There were hiccups, later solved, for delivery and pickup. For the latter, the driver never called to check on time.
