The manager needs customer service skills. I've worked customer service for over 20 years and know how to treat people. I was told the wrong information the day before by the manager on shift so he did not want to do what I was told would happen. I was already irritated not once did he apologized for anything that I was told. Then they try to charge me 52 extra dollars for fuel. When I filled it up to where I got it. He got up to check because why would I say the truth had to walk with him when he could've said "okay let me go verify" then he sees for himself that I was right. Did he apologize for over charging NO!. He just told the girl that checked that she needs to verify and actually look at it because And I quote "she was of by a mile". I wouldn't have been so angry if he would've apologized and not sounded like me being there was annoying. The clerk that took care of me Britnay Wood was outstanding. No complaints about her skills. But maybe train your managers on better skills and procedures. I work for a company that always used Uhaul for different reasons, and this one is right in my Town so I always use it but after this I will start looking for another rental company or different location.

I had to drive 12 miles past a branch that was just 2.5 miles from my house because the truck size I wanted was unavailable at the one near my house. why couldn't they move the truck? Not wanting to pay for the extra miles they offered to make the rental a "one way" and allow me to drop off the truck close to my house. The next problem was when the guy doing the rental agreement he used the wrong branch address which was 13 miles from home.

19.95 price aday turned out to be 41.50 for 2 hours plus gas equaled 48.50. Not even close to advertising with fees and taxes

Our check in experience was with someone who was obviously new and poorly trained so took a lot longer than expected. She had to ask and re ask her colleagues how to do everything from how to input info into the computer to how to find the right key to the vehicle ( which we found out upon return of the vehicle at a different location had the wrong color code) to how to use the keypad for my credit card. I hope for her it was her first day ... but she had been so clearly undertrained that she shouldn’t have been behind the counter as it soured our check in experience so much I likely won’t use UHaul again.

confirm all service reps have same information, the rep who gave us the rental said if we wanted to extend the rental time that was not a problem. However, when i called to extend, the rep then said i only could for 1 more day. Then I called the toll free service line and the CSR who answered was able to extend the rental for the 2 days I needed. It all worked out and Sharla the CSR was great.

I tried to use the mobile pick up, but they key was in a lockbox that the location KNEW did not work. So, I had to wait in a long, slow line to get someone to open the lockbox for me. It was understandable that the location was busy - this was the last Saturday of the month and I expected the location to be busy, which is why I used mobile pick up! I probably will not use mobile pick up ever again, because it only caused me to waste more time.

With only one person at the counter on a Saturday for pick up and drop off, I checked in with mobile check in. I was very disappointed in the process. "Go find your truck" that seems counterproductive as I wandered around the lot looking for the assigned truck. I'm sure somewhere in terms and conditions it mentions fuel, I drove the truck 20 miles used less than an 1/8 of a tank and was charged $50 for fuel. Nobody ever spoke to me (except for "here are keys" when I went back inside after finding my truck) and the return equip was backed up when returning the truck and I was told to just leave the keys in it. I don't think the fuel charge is fair and this is the worst costumer service I have ever experienced renting from Uhaul.

Have gas at 1/2 tank at least NOT ON 1/8 of a tank (that’s pretty much on E) .... not good wasted my time to fill up before I even started my move

I had reservations at the Westfield location and on the day of my move they called and said I had to go to west Springfield. Inconvenient and out of the way. Why did I have to make a reservation in Westfield if they weren’t going to keep it? Secondly when I got to West Springfield I had to wait about an hour in line before I could talk to anyone. This put me well behind my moving schedule. Lastly I got charged for the extra mileage due to having to pick up in West Springfield instead of Westfield. Over all this was a complete and utterly poor customer experience.

Office appeared to be understaffed, and the employees that were there seemed to be overwhelmed. I reserved my uhaul on 6/20/19, for a 6/27/19 date, but was told on 6/27/19, that there was no reservation in place. Would not recommend again.

THE SECURITY SYSTEM NEEDS IMPROVEMENT. THE SLIDING DOOR OPENS BEFORE YOU SLIDE YOUR CARD. I WENT TO MY UNIT AND THEN THE LOUD SIREN WENT OFF. MAYBE YOU DON'T NEED THE LOUD ALARM DURING THE DAY TIME.

The truck was clean but the AC didn’t work. I had it for two days and it was almost unbearable to drive in. Check-in and out was excellent, all the employees were amazing.

When I showed up to pick up the truck there was only 1 person helping the customers. Then another girl was standing around not offering to help. Finally 20 minutes later I asked a man if this was where I picked up the truck and he finally helped me. I was very angry with the speed and attentiveness of this location.

Communication about my upcoming reservation would have been helpful. Nobody ever called me to confirm my pick up location... I had to initiate the communication. Uhaul was great and really helped make my move happen smoothly.

Due to equipment availablity I have to pick up and return 10 or more miles from my house. I should be allowed to return to the location closest to me with out having to pay one way charges. This would help uhaul also as the closest 5 locations didn't have a 6x12 trailer
