Luckily I was able to reset my password and continue. Then I was not able to take issues with the app. I had "allowed' the app permission to everything in my phone but could not take pictures. This was stressful at the end of a long busy day. Had to call support because I didn't want to 'violate' my rental agreement. Honestly, is rather find another way to haul my stuff than have this hassle again.

I had a unit for about a year and a half but unfortunately I got very sick with covid and was hospitalized more than a month at a time 3 times in the last year. It's been hard. They held onto my unit for me as long as they could. Unfortunately I lost my belongings to auction on the 1st. If there is anything left that nobody wanted, please text me 316-285-8802 and I would be more than happy to come get it. It was all sentimental. Mostly my engagement ring I've had for 20 years. Not worth anything to anyone but me. Merci.

Michael SteeleMy 1 year stay was perfect. Only during my move out at 6am, I had the most trouble accessing the facility and picking up the reserved truck with the app. I had to wait till they were open to get back in the facility and started the truck pickup through the website.

Sue Clemens-BiboI would like to share my experience in total. Both the location in Wichita for pickup as well as the drop off in Salina provided good customer service overall. In addition to the rental truck I agreed to pull a trailer for reimbursement for U Haul to my final destination. The truck with 19xxx miles had an advantage issue pop up early in to the drive. I acknowledged by pressing OK and from that point on cruise control didn't work. Also this low mileage truck was pulling hard to the right so the alignment was pretty far off. When I arrived to my house I went to disconnect the trailer so I could unload it and could not release it from the ball. Contacted the drop off site and was told to drive it to them so extra mileage and fuel. Got it released and emptied the truck and turned it in the same day with more fuel than required. Get my receipt and was charged a little over a $1 for going over mileage because I had to drive to get the trailer released from the truck. Worth it to rent from uhaul again? Not sure.
Steve JaredWhen we first walked in, all of the employees were on their phones and laughing messing around and talking poorly about a previous customer that came before me. I stood there and had to say TWICE "I have a reservation I need to pick up". I made the reservation on the app and was told it was $60. I had the option to pay on the app but opted to pay in store. Well apparently I just should've paid on the app because in store it wasn't $60 it was $109 for only about 5 hours and about 30 miles. Not to mention when we picked up the uhaul and moving equipment (utility dolly, furniture wrap and 10 furniture pads) the employee did not secure the dolly in the uhaul so when we were driving we heard it flying around in the back and had to pull over to secure it so it didn't get broken or damaged. Then when we returned the U-Haul and equipment at about 6:30pm, we walked in and AGAIN employees were on their phones and didn't even acknowledge us until I said "we need to drop off" then he didn't even look at me, he remained in his phone and said "cool we will email you a receipt. I explained I wanted to know the total cost. He said again "right we will email you a receipt" I said once again, I want to know the total cost with the mileage. He sighed and said "alright well follow me outside". We followed him and he checked the mileage then said "well you didn't fold the furniture pads and they have to be folded. So you can either fold them or be charged $25" so we stood there in the cold and folded up 4 furniture pads. You're telling me the employees who were sitting on their phones are incapable of folding up 4 furniture pads so that their customers don't have to do it in the cold or be charged $25? That's the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. I'm a pretty understanding person and rarely if ever, complain or write bad reviews but this was the most ridiculously unprofessional and the poorest customer service ive experienced. I will most definitely be calling and speaking to the manager on Monday.

This was not ideal because the movers, hired though Uhaul, couldn't schedule until they knew when the containers were going to be there. Other than this, everyone was very friendly throughout. All of the ordered products were there on-time without issue.

The only "help" we got was employee unhooking the trailer before the car was off of it which caused the trailer to buck up and almost hit the back of the UHaul, also potentially putting the car driver in an unsafe situation. Employees clearly need better training at this location.

They could have been a bit more professional when I was trying to bring some boxes back inside on a cart and it was windy and they key flying off and I kept trying to hold them down etc. had an associate walk right by me twice. Didn't even offer to help. He went inside to sit at the desk to look at his personal phone. When I got to the desk he was still looking at his phone and said it'll be a second. I asked if it was a personal or business phone he said personal. This was the same guy that was to open that morning and was late so there were customers waiting for the office to open.

Gerald McDowThe only complaint i have was that the keypad denied me access one night that I needed to get in and had to wait until the next day to get in. They had not entered in the system all my info so it looked like I had not paid my bill bit the it was their error. One time the keypad wasn't working and fortunately the inside was still open so I could get in. I had some things in my unit that the family member was only in town for 9 days so we were on a crunch time. That was frustrating and also the alarms being set off constantly

First was on a 2001 Dodge Stratus, second was a Chevrolet HHR, third was a 2014 Ford Escape, forth was a 2018 Ford Escape and fifth is this 2024 Mazda. All installations were quick and well-done installations servicing my needs to haul a few bicycles.

I told them after we finished packing the one unit and they said that it was too late. They rent the 10x20 as two units and I would have to unpack and rent a10x10 and could not get my money back for the second unit. It doesn't say online this is two separate units when you rent them. I think this is dishonest and deceiving. Shame on uhaul for ripping people off

We were told they were cutting off locks. The alarm was right by our unit and it was deafening! I understand uhaul needs to have security, but this made it impossible for us to work in our unit for ANY length of time. Which is the reason we moved out. Other than that it was a great experience.

I do entend to make a call as the trailer blew a tire and brakes causing an unnecessary stay in another hotel where I had to pay for my pets as that was not covered....and then we ran into rain and the truck nor the trailer were sealed so my things were all wet when I unloaded. I am not a happy customer!!!!!!

Tried calling the after hours number on the facility for the manager and could not get an answer or a phone call back. Absolutely ridiculous. Due to move out having so many issues with not being able to get in my unit I had to rush to get moved to MN when I would have had a couple days to unload the Uhaul I rented but instead I had about 12hrs! I had to have people move the last of my things out of the unit for me because I could not be there to finish myself unless I wanted to pay for more time with the Uhaul trailer. Worst experience with a storage unit.

I think it's 10:00 p.m. You no longer have access to your storage. I prefer 24-hour access because sometimes I can't always get there during daylight hours or in the hours that you have to set. Doesn't seem like to me it would be that much extra for you to have a night person considering all the electronic security that you have you shouldn't have any issues with 24-hour facility.

The only thing I would recommend for U-haul overall is the automatic payment system, it never worked for us. I would recommend renting again and would consider it for future storage needs.

The app wasn't working so we couldn't return the truck, got charged for bringing it back after hours, and got charged for an additional day (additional charges were later reversed except for the extra days rental of the utility dolly). Rented a 20ft truck and was given a free storage unit only to discover that the free unit was 7x10x11 and wouldn't hold all of our belongings. The following day received message warning about potential future charges being assessed due to not putting all of their courtesy carts back in the holding area before leaving. All and all I'm over the whole experience and won't ever use them again.

The only reason I can see for this is either the staff isn't listening or U-haul is trying to stick people with the wrong return location charge of $300 dollars. I returned my U-haul in Anthony an rented it again an still I was stuck with Anthony as my return location despite me telling them that I needed to return the U-haul in Wichita because that was were my car was!! I see that as trying to rip me off or the staff at U-haul just doesn't listen.

I did everything online so I assumed that I was checked in and ready since it said my key was in my unit. It gave me access codes and such but did not really explain that I needed them even during store hours. Other than that, it has been great so far.

I believe the guy'a name is Austin and I didn't catch the woman's name working that night, 01.30.21, as well but both were outstanding! Hands down the best customer service I've received in a long time!
