I put gas into the truck on my way to take it back and the gas station was down the street, not even a light away and the check in lady said that because it was not pass the mark, they charged me, I only rent from U-Haul not no more after this bad experience.

Geovanni RBoth agents was informed I wanted to pay the final charges a different way, they processed the payment the way they wanted, tried to reverse it and put an additional 25 on hold. Then said you can call the manager tomorrow. Horrible customer service

Then I just downloaded the app for better results but for some reason it didn't submit all my info so the front desk finalized my transaction. It was very easy and fast. I'm definitely coming back!!

Stacey WLocation wise parking is difficult at best. The 15' truck was given to us with a gas tank that was 9 miles to EMPTY. Who gives out a rental truck with less than 1 gallon of gas in it? The 1/4 gas tank return policy was never explained to us. We actually returned it with more gas than what we were given. But still our initial gas credit was taken away from us upon return. Who had time to read the entire small print especially when our gas tank was empty! and we had a 130 mile road trip to go. I realized after drop off and reading the entire contract that yes it does state 1/4 gas tank upon return. So technically UHaul is correct but shame on you for not explaining it upfront and giving us a truck with less than 1 gallon of gas.

Julie WAlthough the van was clean, staff was polite, in the end What matters is what you are charged Upon return of your rental. I was shocked that from $19,95 my chargers totaled over $66.00. U-Haul, really should Stop displaying one price on the vans only to Jack the price up the price and charge way more. My truck said 19,95 I drove 14 miles around trip, picked up at 9:45 dropped back off at around 11:45 was charged ALMOST $70.00. Thats false advertising. I will not recommend U-Haul to anybody I know. Beside the lady took pictures of my drivers license ID on her personal phone, how do I know that she deleted my personal information. She has my daughter name and number according to them for Emergency reasons, she has enough of my personal in formation to steal my identity. I am very concern about that to the point that I have thought about it everyday since I rented the van. Milly Rey
Milagro RIf reserved a 17th feet truck and gave the time I would be in for pickup and I was told that they didn't have one and I would need to choose one of the 20 to 25 footer trucks. And not at the reserved price.

gustavo gTry to be available until you close. I had an issue about the location of your drop box, call at 6:45p no answer but got a 3rd party to assist. I had a situation in the past looking for the damn look box, police was called, this could've been avoided if they had told me where its location was before i left, as well if id ask due to I've had this experience before. Fine, np. It makes all the difference to be able call direct without going through promts. Just my opinion, other than that, fantastic CS.

kevin hi get that everything is more expensive this days but the pricing is outrageous now. you should not advertise it as 19.95. your price for mileage is more than what DOT standard price is. im completely disappointed in those charges as i will not be using u-haul in the foreseeable future.

Jemal TI was a entire hour late to my moving appointment. I was 1st greeted by no one as no one was in the store when i walked in for about 5 mins. i was then given keys to the wrong vehicle which caused me to browse the lot for the vehicle in 29 degree weather which was not even there so i had go back inside and redo everything for another truck. i finally got to the truck and the truck was froze shut. i asked if anyone can take the snow off and they did not have a proper snow brush. i then had to wait another 20/25 mins for my equipment. my overall experience sucked
Shakeya BThe van was difficult to get if the lot. I had to thread between vans, trucks and hitches in reverse with limited rear views. Someone to assist in the lot would be helpful.

Robert LWhen I got my stuff out of storage it was infested with rat feces and urine. I had to get rid of 70 % of my things because of how much rat poop was on it and it wasn't just a few dropping it was everywhere!

The young lady told mean 10 o'block there we can go in there but the find out is closed at 10. The doors kept closing. I had to get access to it to the code and then. My daughter got locked in there but miss Jackie the manager. She came and let us get in freezing so we could finish moving to rest the her stuff inside the store soon thank you

I had been making payments every month or every other month and her statement just wasn't true. Go to the storage facility in Woodbridge, IL. It will be a much better experience and they will NOT sell your belongings. Hobson Storage ONLY.

I setup autopay myself after that, and had no further issues. Attempts to reach the manager by phone and email were both ignored, so I wasn't able to get an explanation of what happened or get a refund on the late payments fee.

Rouow W | Expérience généraleThis is what I wrote for the checkout comment portion: i will be sending an email to corporate about our truck fiasco when we received the truck on empty and was told we had to fill with gas for use to receive a credit when all we needed was a clean truck ready to use, how our room wasn't even cleaned out when we moved in, the lack of light not only in the room but in the hallway, the thermostats that read 90° constantly, the lack of toilet paper and paper towels for 2 weeks at a time, and the piles of spilled rice that was left in the hallway outside my room for 2 weeks. There is no way any sanitation practices were maintained and it is a health and safety issue due to covid. I couldn't even complete this form with a light on as all lights except for one have gone out. Horrible, I will never be back.

There is almost always only one person on duty making it very inconvenient for you to see a rep without standing in line with a mask for an hour. The general manager/owner is extremely rude and unprofessional. Corporate also gave me the run around, transferring me from one department to another with no results. Lack of customer service and communication
