I was a victim of road rage. I had to pull over the truck bc a good person saw the back door of the truck had opened. I pulled over to a safe place. A man and woman in a car almost ran me over on purpose as I was standing outside the truck. The main was beeping his horn at me, screaming obscenities at me, and when I stood my ground he charged his car at me. Initially to the Uhaul staff (understandably) thought I was being rude, and tried to deal with me appropriately asking me to step outside, but then I broke down in tears sobbing over what had happened. The young woman and man handled me so well and were so kind. The young woman got me water, a chair, Tissues, and said she understood it was a stress reaction...cortisol, adrenaline and such. You have a good team there.

Brian KNothing to to with the u-haul location. In general it would be much easier of a drive with cruise control! I had called a couple days earlier and the agent said all the 20 foot trucks are new and have cruise control. Then when I went to pick up the agent said none do and never have.

MATTHEW JI had a great experience renting a cargo van. I called back to the office after I had left because I didn't know the steering wheel had locked and the received help patiently to unlock the steering wheel. This is another reason I would go back to this location.

Andrew BOriginal reservation had to be moved to a different location which was out of the way, so it was more expensive due to milage, which I was originally OK with, but the customer service rep who called me was EXTREMELY rude when I was just trying to get clarification on the matter. Then when attempting to return the vehicle, the app did not recognize my contract number or phone number, so I couldn't do the after hours return, further being charged more money. Overall terrible experience and would not recommend. The truck I had, had a few scratches and dents in it.
Taylor WGas tank was not quite at 3/4 full when I picked it up and I didn't notice until I left. It was halfway in between 3/4 and the next marker down, so 1/16 of a tank low. That doesn't sound like a lot but it was easy to see on the gas gauge and depending on how many gallons the truck holds I assume I had to buy at least an extra gallon to have it showing at 3/4 for return. Essentially I had to pay for more gas than I used.

Opening a new small business has been full of surprises for me, but getting a truck or van during the buildout has been consistently easy and timely. Grateful for the Ypsi UHaul!

She was very nice to me and probably was having a bad day, but I felt she needed to remain professional especially because there was a trainee there who doesn't need to see that in the first days of work. Tracy SVan dirty. Driver door would not open from inside. App does not work well, is not intuitive. It's not obvious at all the 4 hours is the max for 19,99 price. I had van doe 4 hrs 40 min. Not only charged me for "2 rental periods" but also charged me twice for insurance.

kelley bThe way you determine gas to be replaced in the tank before returning the truck, felt like it was VERY incongruent to the number of mikes I drove! Literally I drove less than 10 miles and ended up putting $20 of gas in so I could make sure I didn't have any fees for the gas gauge not being where you wanted it! Felt like I was cheated and taken for what you could get! Not sure I will be as quick to choose UHaul next time . . . Also, there were no other customers and I had to walk to the very back of the lot to find the truck I rented. In the past, my vehicle was always parked at the front of the parking lot, if not right in front!!! This location - doesn't seem to be very customer service focused!!!!! Would not give a good rating to this location! Very different in Kalamazoo!!!!

Denise DFront desk service is key. Please review store front desk video to see what I mean. I had a good experience this time. Everyone else I saw, less so. The new guy was doing great. Checked in my return even though there was two empties parked in front of me. I was grateful to work with him at the front desk, also. This was one of the best U-Haul experiences ever.

Bethany WI reserved a van through the app. When I arrived and went through pickup the number of the van did not match. I went inside and waited over 20 while another rep and customer talked about personal matters. Then the manager was free and asked if I needed help. While wearing large over the ear headphones. So I don't even know if he heard my questions properly. Told him the van was not out there. Then he just says it's in the lot. No assistance or anything. So I go back out to the lot and I find the van. But, the van is different from the picture on the app completely. It was older so I wasn't looking for that type. I wasted over 1/2 hour of my time just trying to pick it up. I had to hurry with my project to get it back in time. Will go somewhere else next time.

Virginia FCustomer service was 12 on a scale of 1 - 10. The reservation system didn't want to cooperate, so what normally would have taken 10 minutes ended up taking close to an hour to get the rental assigned to the customer... But CSR Erik never missed a beat., he was pleasant and understanding with the IT person and apologetic with the customer( me) as needed (without going overboard). The equipment was top shelf. When I returned the rental I recieved quick courteous and helpful assistance. Overall: this is how all business should strive to operate. Well played folks!
BRUCE EWhen I picked up the van they told me "it sounds like it has a weak start, but it starts every time". Yeah, that wasn't the case. The van died at the storage facility where I was picking things up. After waiting for service to get the van going for about 2 hours, the facility was closing and the owner needed me to leave so he gave the van a jump and I cancelled the dispatched vehicle service. I was unable to put gas in the vehicle due to the fact the van would die if I turned it off. On top of that, I had to leave the vehicle running as I unloaded resulting in greater use of gas than I have ever intended. I hope you plan on refunding me. My intended 3 to 4 hour trip ended up nearly 7 hours because of all of this.

Hazim AThe truck smell was unbearable of smoke. We were assigned a clean truck but were given the wrong key. Instead of giving us the correct key, we were given a very smelly truck. It got the job done, but it was miserable. Upon return customer service did not try to remedy this situation at all. Overall was not impressed, but if you need it, it's there. Just make sure to photo document everything. They tried to tell us the tank was 1/2 full but was only 1/4 full. Speak up for yourself otherwise you'll pay for it.
