They had free coffee but no regular sugar and no creamer available.

Karen SOverall the service was very good. Only hiccup was that I was charged for a furniture dolly which had been returned with the truck. Waiting for that to be resolved. Hoping it's sorted soon.

Danny BI The ball I brought was the wrong size. Lots of help to buy a new one the right size. Then I had problems with my wiring harness on the vehicle and it would not give signal to trailer. Everyone was super nice and patient. I had a couple men come out to test for signal. NONE. I ended up renting a truck to haul the trailer to pick up my riding mower. I can't complain at all about the courteous service I received. I ended up a bit late to pick it up and they waited for me too. It was my lucky day. Good employees that actually cared about my experience there. Way to go UHAUL.

linan cThe hold down strap mechanism that holds the tire in place on the auto transport was very troublesome to work after I got the vehicle home that I towed. I had to use alit of WD-40 on the mechanism to get it to release.

LEON G | Premières impressionsI feel that the Uhaul storage experience was above average, I would have chosen excellent except for one issue, storage customers are paying monthly in advance, which is expected, but when the customer moves out after the monthly pay date there is no partial refund or pro-rated portion. So if the said locker room is rented in the same month by another customer, that's free money . I don't feel that is fair for a large corporation such as Uhaul to treat their customers.
Kenneth M | Expérience généraleThe only issue we had was that the drop off location was incorrectly entered when we picked up the truck and I didn't notice the error until I went to drop it off and they told me I had to drop it off at a different location than I had expected or pay a penalty. Since the incorrect drop off location was only about 30 miles away I just drove there and dropped it off.

When returning trailer the guy did not know how to use his phone so we could return it taken 20 mins. Then trying to back trailer up to put it back in the row where we got it there cars every where making it hard to back up!

Eric PI and/or my family have rented several trucks and trailers from the U-Haul Storage of Chehalis-Centralia for a few years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We will continue to use them along with recommending them to anyone we contact that has truck, trailer, moving of anything needs. Regarding the last time we rented a 26' truck, we called and called the office and advised that we would be a couple of minutes late. We arrived exactly 2 minutes after closing and the office was dark and locked, but the website used on my cell phone made my check in and return of the truck very, very easy.

MARC M | Premières impressionsI called in the morning at 0700 to speak with a lady. I had ask if my drop-off time could be extended because I would not be able to make it in time . The lady informed me that if I were able to make it before closing that there would be no additional charge. I later pulled in 4 hours prior to close and was greeting by a gentleman seemingly upset by my arrival shown by his body language and tone. While doing an inspection of the truck, the gentleman opens the rear and yells "Oh you shouldn't have done that" regarding how the hand truck was positioned. I informed him that's how it was received and I haven't used it. He then stated "Well if it broke you'd be paying." Due to his tone I then became annoyed and let him know that I would not fucking pay for something I didn't do. Ignores me matching his condescending tone and continues to inspect the truck. He then goes to check the mileage shortly after he comes up to me and tells me $86 and that's all he said so I asked why do I need to pay an additional 86? I have already paid 258. No we don't charge you until you arrive. I asked the gentleman why the additional $86 was being added, but he refused to answer the question. So I checked my bank account and noticed that the $258 was in fact deducted along with an additional 86.00. I then walked into the U-Haul establishment and greeted another worker who informed me after printing off a sheet that the gentleman had charged me for an additional day. After letting them both know I was already informed but charge would be waived. He said well you never told me and how do you expect me to read minds. I was instructed to come and speak with the manager in the morning, which I have every intention of doing..

From a distance I watched the manager speaking to my daughter and due to the rain decided to start walking inside. Then addressed her when she came inside and asked for someone else to help us. The manager did not take any responsibility for her actions, tone of voice or even accept that my daughter's fiancé watched her mouth say stupid as she walked away from my daughter. The cashier and then the young man working were friendly and helpful. The young man had been even friendly on the phone the day before. My daughter then explained as we walked out how rude the manager was that morning when she first picked up the Uhaul for me. I apologized to her and said I was sorry but all I could do was confront the woman and did. I've worked with the public since a young child in Girl Scouts and am now 48, I've learned tone, body language etc out speak anything else and how that is up most importance. I wouldn't recommend this place because of her.

Amanda JCody was great! We paid to have the wiring done as well as the hitch, but he found functioning wires down there that he just rerouted and remounted, then reduced our bill. He could have easily not mentioned that and charged me anyway, but he went above and beyond to take care of us. Super appreciated for him!
Taylor SMake sure your credit card reader works. I had to use my debit card to pay for the service. I used the same credit cards elsewhere and they still worked.
Christopher VAll people reading this need to get a clue about your contract read the fine print. We closed out our storage unit very shortly after making a full month's payment and they wouldn't give any of it back because they said it was in the contract that they couldn't prorate anything. Basically it's legalized theft. So just a warning read your contract. And the woman that helped me close out didn't listen well and was very snappy in her speech. The woman in charge was not friendly at all. The other young woman who helped me go and get the lock off of my storage unit was very nice. But that main person was just not a very nice person no matter how friendly I was she continued to be short and snappy.

The alarm went off because I did not have a card for silencing or understand the instructions about how to get into storage area. Etc. My help had another appointmenttment and it took a long time for clerk to get paperwork done. I'm nearly 80 and I needed help getting equipment out of truck and onto dollys and then find the unit. The kids I'd hired helped. But were late to their next appointment. The cleanup lady was the star PR person. Helpful. Cheerful. And very kind.

Instead of being able to unload, I had to return home with a full trailer to get the 3rd party information. After 10 days of packing and moving my mother, it was very frustrating, mostly because I was never told I would need a 3rd party. The presumption I wouldn't pay the monthly bill, is rather insulting. Other than that, the Chehalis facility is very nice and tidy.

Staff said it will be "soon" but I was there 4 months and it never was. Also 1 of the bay doors (of 3) was out of order the entire time I was there, that's not exactly a prompt repair. All else was great though. I had issues with logging in and out and tripped the alarm a few times. Could have been operator error. All else was fine. Staff was helpful, the place was CLEAN, including the bathrooms, I did see staff in the facility without masks on, but . . . what are you gonna do?

Victoria E | Online Move In1 bay was broken, there were several people using the facility with only 2 bays. We all parked in the parking lot and had to walk pretty far to/from vehicles/units. I've never used this sort of storage before, I only have experience with the facilities where you can drive right up to your unit. I don't prefer this layout, that is ok. People were helpful and the complimentary carts helped.

Even though I was out early, and notified the Uhaul staff, Uhaul did not refund me for the 23ish days that I had pre paid. Ask for a daily price if you are going to move your stuff out before their 30 day term, before paying for 30 days.
