A card to swipe would be much better. Also, you have to get out of your car to enter and leave. I don't understand not having card and no drive up code entry.

I haven't been able to get my self over there to the unit , but I'll be over there in a few. But everyone was very considerate, caring and the unit is " I'm sure" very good.

I just wanted to explain #5 answer. Normally, it was very well maintained. We had not seen inside our unit since winter. The crack in the outside pavement now extended into our unit among others. Since spring thaw it has widened and actually looks like a sink hole might be forming. I would have it checked out. It could deter business or if something too heavy is on that area may even collapse. But when we moved in it was just a line crack. That was about 13 years ago.

It's pure BS that I paid for a whole month for 2 storage units when I moved out on the 5th. I would've gladly paid for the 4 days that I using them but I should've been prorated, I definitely won't use uhaul storage ever again.

The one gate not always working is annoying but there is still access at the other gate.

The staff were very helpful during our move out (especially the guy in charge at the Mitchell & LaPorte Rd, Waterloo IA location, I forget his name!). Moving can be very stressful, they were patient with us, and they helped make this time a little easier on us!

I called the manager to close my unit after three-day and one call me back so i was stuck paying the full mouth!! i will never rent for you again!!!!!!

The Service time in the store was a little long then normal. But I don't fault the staff for that. As they are short staff. When it was your turn they are very helpful. And do their best to help you.

Please note….. when you clean out and leave the storage unit. The directions should be printed on the the original storage agreement…the one that has the map of storage units on it. When we emptied the storage unit I had to to drive back and forth because I didn't know I had to take pictures.

Unit 1139 at mitchell unit had cracked floor which didn't effect me but may effect someone else if heavy rain or trapped water were to be in the area , this isn't a complaint only an observation. Also there was loose strapping on the door

Everyone I worked with, through two truck rentals and one storage unit, everyone was helpful, patient and knowledgeable. I would easily recommend this location and their services!!

Horrible customer service put me in a inside unit the card didn't work they didn't try to accommodate me in any way I paid for a 10 by 10 they tried to put me in a 5 by 5 when I got frustrated with them they hung up on me and refused to give me a refund until I lost it I'll never recommend u-haul to anyone the guys name was Devon at the Waterloo Iowa location I'll never use the service again

Reserved a unit, paid for a unit, signed contract for unit, had to buy specific lock for unit, but never was able to even get in unit. It was locked when I arrived. Then after 5 hours loading, then waiting then going home and unloading everything. I wasted half a day, money, and all when I'm trying to move my family. You cannot get ahold of anyone even if you try calling University, "managers cell" posted on entry panel, 1800 number, and even customer service. Then when I talked to someone locally they said they'd would talk to manager and call rite back... nobody ever called... after being on hold on 2 cells one to cust serv. and one to general unit assistance i got threw after 43 minutes. Only to find out i have to go back into the shop to cancel and get my money back. Completely dissatisfied, was going to rent a large truck for 3-4 days and another unit when a large became available. Not that anyone will care but the few thousand dollars of potential business i had will be going elsewhere and i will suggest to anyone who asks that they not use uhaul.

Any time I had an issue I was always able to reach someone and they got it handled. Somehow there was a roof leak and I lost a queen & twin mattress but I won't dwell on it. #PROTECTIONPLAN

We had a problem with our card keys to enter--most likely due to the intense moisture in the air--and they sent someone out from another location who arrived within minutes to open the gate.

One main issue I had was there was a stock tailor parked in the way most of my move with the bad weather we ben having and the snow piles the facility is tight on its own and to have this stock there

I was give ln a unit the was already occupied. It took 15 minutes to get a new unit and i was never given the code to exit the facility and was locked in for 10 minutes because anyone was able to help

I really like the fact that units are secure with security cameras and a lock gate I once for got to lock my unit and I received a call from the office letting me know thanks guys and KUTGW.
