The young man (looked like he was 16) who serviced my car was excellent. He was professional, knowledgable and did quality work.
Tom Emmingerthe vehicle was clean and the staff was great but the windshield wipers stopped working 1 hour into the drive and it was raining very hard. it made operating the vehicle very difficult. i know this was a mechanical issue but was unfortunate and made our event significantly more challenging.

Stuart JohnsonDon't ever assume the UHaul truck you rent is clean and dry. We rented a 10 foot truck to store valuables not damaged by a major water leak above our garage ceiling that damaged a lot of stored garage valuables so we rented a UHaul to store our additional valuables for 3 weeks while we settled with insurance and found contractors to make repairs in our garage. When we moved our valuables from the UHaul back into our garage, many of the boxes were soaking wet from a leaking roof or seam in the Truck. Therefore do not trust a UHaul truck to be leak proof !!

Daniel TobinI think some training about the vehicle would be helpful. Specifically about the racing engine when stopping. Also I got ripped offf with the gas . There was no way to guess how much to refill so I filled the tank . I will bever accept a vehicle that doesn't have a full tank of gas

mark MracnaI specifically reserved a furniture dolly. The young men on duty suggested I take an appliance dolly instead because they couldn't find a furniture dolly. It was useless. I asked for a credit and they told me they couldn't give me one for that dolly. I don't like paying $7 for something that wasn't what I reserved and also was useless to me. As well, the printer refused to work and I spent considerable time waiting for the young men to get it to work. It didn't. They were fine young men but the experience could have been better for sure.
Paul FurigaI was charge extra for fuel the truck did not have in it. I took a time stamped picture of the gas gauge prior to me leaving the premises. I was charge a fill up fee even though I filled the tank up to what was in the truck when I picked up the rental. Not sure why there were additional charges. I should not have to fill up the tank if that gas amount was not already in the truck when I rented it. That is the reason for the poor rating.

Joseph BrandtWhen you rent a truck, make sure the battery is charged. I waited over 5 HOURS for someone to come and jump start the truck. Once he did, he told me not to turn the truck off when I refueled it, otherwise it wouldn't start again. You put my safety at risk just by driving this truck. I got no apologies. So I will NEVER use U Haul again, nor will I recommend U Haul to anyone.
Emilia MattucciCheck in and pickup was easy, and the staff was very helpful. When I did the pre-inspection of the trailer, I opened the door and it still had blankets, pillows, and other moving materials that had been left in it. The attendant helped remove these articles, hook up the trailer, and checkout the lights. The trailer itself pulled well and I had no issues with it. Return was very simple the next morning.
Rich DoyleMy vehicle is in the shop and I needed a vehicle for a couple more days and asked if I could get into anything else for a couple more days because they said they needed the van return for other clients and the lot attendant said they had nothing but when I returned it they had 2 vans 3 pickup trucks and multiple big moving trucks but they had nothing. They could put me in for two more days joke U-Haul on McKnight road is a joke. I personally will never use U-Haul again. I'll go to Penske or Herc or any other rental company. They offer a great price at $19,99 a day and then when it charges $.68 per mile rip off rip off I could've rented a Mercedes-Benz for what I paid for a week of a U-Haul

Michael HumenikMake sure that managers don't call customers mother fuckers and bitch and tell me shut the fuck up..for questioning a charge...and refuse to take cash from me for payment...it was very threatening to me ..I was going to call the police but decided against since he has my phone number and address...I will never recommend this place and have written a review and have wrote what happened in our two twp. Facebook pages and low and behold this has happened before to see efferent degrees. Still waiting for the district manager to call this happened 10/29, between 950 am and 1030 at the McKnight Rd store with tray Gardner....check the tape out for your enjoyment .penske from now on

Beverly DavisI felt unsafe in the vehicle because of the brakes. The brakes did not operate as expected. The brakes pumped as if I was on ice and they also squealed. This forced me to drive less than 1/2 or 3/4 of the speed limit on a major thoroughfare and with the hazard lights on because I felt the vehicle would not stop in time if needed. I informed the staff upon the return. Luckily, I stayed local with the rental. I would not have driven it over a long distance. I suggested to the staff to have the brakes checked before renting to another person.
MARK KUNZIt seems I waited and then they forgot to give me the recieverthat I paid for with my installment prior to my appointment which was stated right on my invoice that they gave to me, and I had to go back in for it and then prove that I didn't receive it and waited a little longer while they verified that it was the right size. Otherwise everything else worked as expected and fit.

Trudy LehmeierFix the app. Too many time-outs, too many upsells. Mobile check-in doesn't work well at all. Go inside to check in instead, and the office has computer issues. Nice new truck though! Great on gas.

I learned more about my truck rental from you website than I came close to understanding from the employees and I wasn't impressed at all with your website. I will never use your company again!!!
Greg MooreEmployee didn't inform me that the truck available didn't have a ramp. We didn't realize this until we got it back to the house. This made it impossible to move several of the pieces of furniture we had, and now we'll have to rent another truck with a ramp. When I let them know of this issue, I was laughed at and told that I should have known this in the first place. I believe I should get some discount on this second rental as it is due directly to an employee not doing their job thoroughly.
