We rented a cargo van for a few hours and although it operated fine, it is an older one, compared to the newer Dodge vans and was a little rougher ride. Always a good experience at the Mineral King location. Staff is awesome!

We were evicted from our unit because of a construction project. We were given two days notice to get out. We have been loyal customers for 4 years and have paid on time. The owners of the property do not care about their customers- they only care about getting rich off the shortage of storage units in Visalia. During our eviction, the assistant manager was condescending but the manager was decent.

Check trucks after people return them for an problem because some people don't tell if truck is not running correctly ! The one I had wobbled all over the road so I told the U HAUL guv about it.

They held a 200 dollar deposit on my card upon renting the uhual and then tried to charge me another 185 upon return and when I told them they already held 200 on my card the guy said that since the paperwork didn't show it that they will just put in the system that I owe them money. I even showed them my bank account information to prove it and the guy stop tried to argue. I will never be going back to this location.

Let customers know the process. Where they should turn vehicles in. I waited 20 minutes in line to be told I had to go outside and talk to someone else. Person outside was overwhelmed and not the most helpful. Blamed the day on 2 people not showing up to work. Unfortunately that's not the customers problem.

Had issues with the 24/7 pickup but finally had to go inside and re n t the truck. I always seem to need the truck for more days and end up extending my rental, this seems to be an issue which I don't understand because for them to even have the button for that option it must be something along of people do. The actual location is under staffed but the employees are friendly and d o try to be helpful.

For me everything was well kept for what I needed it. If the mileage was was a little less expensive it would have been nicer but then they're your trucks . One thing only I was told I was going to be charged $145 . 00 but then upon return it was $166 dollars plus I showed the worker the gas ticket of $40 and didn't face him . As I said they are your equipment. I'm and old Veteran on a budget But that's my problem. Thank you Nick Roch USMC VETERAN

An "Enter Here" sign would be helpful, and a UHaul sign visible from down the street. Hard to see the location until you are on top of it. All the street parking can block the view of your signed building until the last second.

I brought the truck back a day earlier missing the 24 hr window by 2,5 hrs. I was told there would be an adjustment but when I returned it the young man told me No adjustment. A little let down by that transaction.

They're lying because the elderly man that was helping me didn't mark down that I returned my appliance dolly, it's reckless that they'd have someone so old and careless run that location. Will be contacting police to pull video footage

I was particularly impressed with the equipment. The enclosed double-axle trailer was fairly new, pulled super smooth, and handled great overall. I recommend both u-haul and this location highly.

I am a software developer with 30 years experience. the web based software was down most of my visit and also slow and older technology. The software and procedures made the rental process horrible. The staff that helped me was great. they ran my card manually and helped to make the rental easier. 5 stars for guy that helped me check in!!!

Your vehicle needs to be serviced. The gas milage was 10 miles to the gallon. I only drove it 18 miles and 2 gallons barely put it back to the original setting. Also, this vehicle would default set back to the tow option, which geared it down when it wasn't necessary. Took me quite a few miles to find the shut off for the tow option.

I put no to storage access hours convenient due to discontinuing the 24hr-access. Wish the 24hr access was still available at least for DIY WORKERS/COMPANY OWNERS.

Staff is extremely rude and not helpful with any information. As a first time user for U-HAUL I didn't not know basic information even after trying to do my own research before calling. When I would call to ask for information at the location I used no one would answer and I would get sent to the central office and they usually weren't able to answer my questions. On top of that every time I asked a question in person I was constantly met with attitude and rude remarks for simply asking for help. I would not use U-Haul again not recommend it to anyone. Get better customer service.

Manager Duncan was always available to assist in anything we needed. Gina, was always friendly and maintained the facility above 5 star rating! This place was always so clean. Would definitely rent again.

Staff was EXTREMELY rude. Only one who was helpful was the manager. The ladies in the front are very rude and have no sense of customer service. That's the only reason I would not recommend this place. If it wasn't for them they'd get 4 stars

Duncan Vaughn is a wonderful human being and he and his staff was always so pleasant to speak with. He really went out of his way to support us and was always very compassionate in offering his support to us. I highly recommend this U-Haul place! Excellent experience!

The older gentleman who help us was not friendly and quite rude. He didn't have quality customer service, he was very short and his tone was rude. Then one girl who helped with storage Seemed to not be knowledgeable at all on how to rent a truck so I had to get in line and wait again to get a truck

I am still dealing with this issue.i am not the person on the account nor my credit card should be charged I am NOT responsible for this or will be held accountable for this unit I just reserved the unit on line I explained that to the gentleman at the front desk where he to the info of the person who's storage it really is. I asked to be taken off and was assured my name and card will not be associated with this account and here it is again my name and credit card is still on there I would like it off and I want it off now this is absolutely ridiculous and I'm not okay with it

The website stated that the unit would store a 1400 square ft house. I came from a 1200 square ft house and couldn't fit all my items in it. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly and professional.

I’m in unit 1000 my name is Joab Johnson I’ve had a unit there for quite some time I’ve been sick with the congestive heart failure I’ve been in and out of the hospital a lot and I’ve let the staff know I’ve let management know I’ve called several times to the people that you call that answer the phones for you and let them know that I United can’t get down there on time sometimes and then and I don’t wanna lose a little bit of stuff I have I’ve lost everything after I’ve got congestive heart failure I couldn’t work anymore and just put on permanent disability and so my bills have been kind of hectic and I knew I lost it a lot but I kept a little storage The manager just would not work with me on my late fees and everything and I pretty much had to just throw a bunch of stuff away is it anyway I just don’t think that I was treated properly by eight and you know what you guys do not answer the phones when I’d be in the hospital beds in there and I called and called and called to tell you I couldn’t get down there to pay it on time and then you guys wouldn’t answer and then you just charge me $50 every time out of line And management management was aware of my medical condition and that I was always there to pay my storage it was just late here and there because of my hospital stays and I don’t think it’s fair that I can charge so much for such a little space

Manager and staff really are great.. seemingly work well together and appear to be happy to help you without prejudice or judgment?! Yes, I actually do mean just that lol. However, the weekend crew can leave you a lil wanting. It's busy and the heat was insane today so I'm going to blame it on the heat! I do have one suggestion and that is to send someone to remove the admin lock from the units that get caught up the actual day they have gotten caught up. I think that would be wonderful and I I know I would support you in this lol. Overall the experience was top shelf with a special shout-out for the Manager, Duncan and the associate who runs and tends to the pool)

There was no communication it being a second level with no elevator and no access to a larger door. There needs to be better communication when setting up this location for storage needs, this was not an easy move with a regular door and second level with no elevator no dollys for appliances or easy way to move large items into storage.

The number one reason I had a positive experience at U-Haul in Visalia is because of the people involved. I never thought it would matter who's working at the U-Haul, but it mattered at the Visalia location. The folks there were patient, kind, respectful, and went above and beyond to support the customer (like Chris). Their tool shop was open and they were quick to fix an issue with my trailer rental and get me on the road, all the way up to closing time. The facilities were always immaculate, nearly hospital clean. The bathrooms were clean and operational. The equipment, like carts, ready and available.

Easily reserved my unit online days prior to moving my stuff in, they had it ready for me with a free lock & even a Uhaul piggy bank it being an indoor storage really makes a difference in this summer heat. ONLY thing i wish was different was the small flight of stairs I have to go up to get to my unit, but that I can get over. Nice staff, super clean place! Definitely happy I chose to go with this storage facility & would def recommend!!

The storage facility is built like a maze and was rather inconvenient to get our stuff to. It was new, secure, clean, but we had to take several turns to get to the unit. It would have been better if everything was built on a simple grid rather than trying to look cool.

Chris was very helpful at addressing issues we experienced with our move out. A+++ for his assistance!! The lady who checked me in, initially was lovely. The reasons I would not recommend this facility are: 1) poor staffing relative to the volume that this location experiences. This site has been like this for years. You make money by providing substandard service because you can. 2) flooded storage area, then difficulty reaching staff to find out what happened because.....#1. 3) I suggest someone do a walk-through at night to ensure that vehicles on remote pickup are accessible and that late night dropoff spots are clearly marked. 4) When there's a problem and the manager is unreachable that speaks volumes about what is important and it's not the customer. No dedicated troubleshooter on call after hours? Check. My new storage is with an independent chain, and people could not be nicer. I really like dealing with real people and not people reciting corporate scripts. They called to follow up with me on moving day and made themselves available after scheduled office hours when they knew we were running late. WOW!! This uhaul is somewhat saved by the people here who manage to care despite the hurdles to doing so. I deeply respect those doing a good job under these circumstances. You are front line workers. I'm sorry you have to deal with what you deal with Better staffing will alleviate the negative google reviews because people who aren't so stressed can do a better job. Customers who can anticipate better service don't come in primed to make sure everyone around them has a bad day. Thanks anyway, my experience wasn't all bad At least people like Chris are there and willing to troubleshoot, so thanks again.

Other than this location being a little overwhelmed by high demand and low staff, this is an excellent location. Starting with the fairly young manager Duncan Vaughn. He goes out of his way to guide and take care of your needs. With our few hundred mile move, truck and tow dolly drop off. Also making our reserved storage space possible after some hiccups in the UHAUL system. He really makes me want to recommend and take care of all our storage and UHAUL type of needs to no other place than this location. Great work Duncan

Reserved a storage unit at a location in Fresno, CA and was later told that the unit was no longer available and that the only storage option was an hour away in Visalia, CA. We drove all the way out to Visalia and were told our reservation did not appear in their system, even though I had the Reservation Number and provided it. The only unit they had available was much smaller than the one we had originally reserved and all of our belongings did not fit.

Refusal of billing staff to properly maintain customer information, direct payment for storage units, and still receive late notices for unpaid invoices. Extremely frustrating! Office managers being placed in no win positions by upper management, resulted in lost time, extra effort by the customer. Rental vehicle was filthy and tech on the truck did not work. Very disappointed with Uhaul, after several rentals and storage ventures, this by far was the worst! I will seriously consider my options the next time and I am urging my friends on social media to do the same.

We moved across country and this facility was the rudest I've ever had to deal with. They changed the delivery time of the UBoxes without saying anything and I had a crew hired to unload.
