Didn't have the truck I reserved. This isn't the first time the reserved equipment hasn't been available. What's the point of a reservation? The front desk employee was friendly and quick, at least.

Frank DevlinMy original rental location called me the morning of my rental. Truck was not there. Gave me this location. It added 22 miles to my trip. The rental went from $30 to $80. 00. Of the 1,5 hours I had the truck most was driving to and from the rental location. The original location in Chula Vista was 1,5 miles from my destination, not 14. The location on El Cajon Blvd has no place to park your vehicle. I had to find parking 4 blocks away. The staff referred to me as Boss. What is that. How was you rental boss. What can I do for you boss?. Overall poor experience.

Araceli BradleyI made the reservation through the app but I didn't receive the physical pamphlet with the instructions and neither was I provided any specific instructions by the staff before driving the van or returning it so it has all been a frustrating and confusing process, especially refueling the van. Because I didn't know where to find the diagram of the fuel gauge that tells me how much gas I need to refuel exactly and I ended up refueling more than necessary.

consepsion cadenaIt is not made clear at time of pick up that you need to re-fuel the truck before return or you'll incur a large fee. I thought since I was paying for mileage that I didn't need to re-fuel, but was then very surprised to be charged $18 upon return when I only used about a gallon of gas.
Bailey PutneyI scheduled a self pick-up and the lock worked but we had difficulty opening the back door the first time. We asked for help from the staff, and they were very nice and helpful (didn't get his name, but it was around 08:10 on Saturday, February 3rd). The process of returning the truck was also easy. I was a little nervous to drive the truck at first because the check tire pressure light was on, and the dashboard stated "Service Tire Monitor System." I checked all the tires and they looked okay, so I proceeded to use the truck. Hopefully you can get this serviced before the truck is rented out to another customer. Merci!

A brief in person overview would have not only helped immensely, but helped me to feel more comfortable. It was rather scary.

Diego GutierrezFirst let me say Thank You for accommodating my request to have the U-haul at El Cajon Blvd in San Diego. I experienced many opportunities for improvement with your company during my rental process if I may share them please. 1. I spent over $4,000. I truly believe the tow dolly should have been at the same u haul pick up location. I called to request that but due to lack of staffing this was not possible. The San Diego locations are apparently under staffed. 2. The 3rd party U-Haul site in LaMesa- that poor dude was by himself and he didn't know how to assist with the tow dolly attachment. I had to go across the street to the car repair shop and by the grace of god a worker from that shop helped me. 3. I Really should Not have rented a tow dolly. Once again by the grace of god I saw the auto transporter on some other U-haul's during my road trip so I googled it and discovered if you're traveling long distances (as I was-cross country) I needed an auto transporter. Kudos to Christy Brackett at your call center who clearly understood my dilemma as I feared my rear tires would not survive this journey. She helped me averted a big problem. Thank you so much!! 4. Kudos to Chad Auto in Oklahoma- they are the best!!! 5. Adequate staffing at Hartley on Rt 11 in Cortland with friendly staff. *** Overall- thank you for helping me made this trip. But you need more trained, Educated staff in your San Diego 3rd party locations and Also your staff should educate the customer of their options especially with Long Distance travel.
