I used self pick up for 7am, so I could move before U-Haul opened at 9am. I had reserved 2 dollies and a set of furniture pads; unfortunately, none of these were in the truck and the location didn't open for 2 more hours, so I had to move everything without them. When I returned the truck in the afternoon, the man working the office assured me I'd be refunded for the items I didn't receive. Unfortunately, this didn't happen and I had to open a dispute online and solve it with a phone call. Additionally, I was charged for fuel, even though I replaced the fuel I'd used. This had to be resolved on the phone as well. Overall, it wasn't an ideal experience and I wouldn't use this location again, especially not for self pick up.

Windshield wiper blade broken, windshield and windows not cleaned. Dashboard and steering wheel gross with dirt. Interior pretty sticky and gross
The truck interior had coffee spills and did not appeared it had been throughly wiped down after last use(s). The windshield also wasn't cleaned as well as it could be. I had to clean it all prior to beginning my one-way drive on Interstate 5.
In completing the online check-in I chose the no insurance option and the no safe move option, including signing the declination of both coverages. Nevertheless, when I reviewed a copy of the contract which was placed in the vehicle in a location which I did not find on till I arrived at the one-way drop off, I discovered that I had been charged For the safe move option. Either your system is defective, or you have made the online application system so Convoluted that no one can actually figure out what they're accepting and or rejecting. In my opinion, the way in which U-Haul has configured the online system was either intentional to miss direct customers, or at best negligent and deserves to be reviewed by the courts.
Cargo van was not washed - windows very dirty and soda stain on interior of passenger door. Rude staff, busy talking with each other, made me do the walk around by myself, when I specified online that I wanted this all in person.
The truck felt old and not well maintained but customer service with Gerald was great
There was no place to drop the uhaul after hours except for a very tight squeeze

The woman working there was BEYOND rude! We parked in the parking lot- she pulled up told us to move our car to street parking although it was an empty lot- and we were only there for 5 minutes. We had to park 3 blocks away!! She also brought her kid with her to work(unprofessional) and as soon as we walked in the door she started dialing a number and made a call instead of helping us!! She was also on the phone the entire time we were there so we had to figure out how to use the website to check in. Will NEVER rent from uHaul ever again!!
every employee i spoke too was quick and informative and ready to get me on the road as quickly as i showed up. very much appreciate every employee i've met at this location. i've had to rent a couple trucks this week and i've done a 24hour rental each time and it's been easy every time. these employees know what they're doing. very good location to work with. highly recommend setting an appointment so you don't have to worry so much if you have the time to set one. thank you guys for being so solid!!!
When we got there the lady was not nice. Then the gentlemen's helped us. Our in line reservation what we complete all of a sudden was not the same drop off. He then didn't charge or give us our equipment we rented. Which I had reserved online already. Then when we got the uhaul he just handed us the keys. As we drove off and got to our location the back was locked so we had to drive back and have it token off. Now I been trying to call because we are getting charged with over mileage which Definetly makes no sense because our route shiuld of left us with an extra 6 or 7 miles left under 139 and we are being tolled it was over by 28 miles and we are trying to call this location back. I've called 5 times and the lady just says the same thing. â€œHi please holdâ€ and she'll never pick back up. Waited couple time 30 min. For her to re answer.

Employees were great but the place looks old and tired
Our reservation was canceled on us by the Los Angeles location the day before we moved to San Diego. We were given less then 24 hours and we're not offered any alternative or help to book another truck. The customer service was so terrible for the LA location. We had to drive down to San Diego the night before our move, stay in a hotel and pick up the uhaul Saturday morning in SD then drive it back to LA load up our truck and go back to San Diego. We spent more time and money then ever expected. We also made the uhaul truck reservation a month ahead of time. The San Diego location was fine. The manager was the only person working inside on a busy Saturday morning so it took awhile to be helped. Once we got to our Uhaul storage facility at a different location we were then told that the location had overbooked due to a glitch in uhauls system and we were told there were no available units for us. Seriously uhaul, what's the point of even making a reservation for a truck or storage unit when you just cancel or overbook on your customers? Overall, uhaul made this the most stressful moving experience that could have been easily avoided.
The staff are friendly and professional. The entire experience was excellent. Moving day is always hectic but this location made it very nice. Thank you! (Give them a pay raise, they deserve it!:)

There was a lot of damage to the truck could Considering it only had 10,000 miles. My boyfriend was told we had to take pictures of the damage before we left. He didn't have his phone but luckily the gentleman at the front desk took pictures. Damage should be noted at each time someone returns it so then next person that didn't cause the damage doesn't get charged. Also there is no where to park while you are getting the rental. Would go to a different location next time

The truck was old...about 100000miles. Tough ride. It broke down 3 times due to the lock out mechanism..so unable to get it started. Roadside assistance took 3 1/2 hours to respond. It was Gila bend AZ...temp 108. Two more times after that. Was very frustrated and afraid with this undependable situation.
