Find a better way to determine gas usage. The fuel gauge on my truck was not right.

ayshia qWent to pick up after hours and the wrong key was in the box and the 1800 number was unmanned. Drove 10 miles and must have not put in enough gas. Was charged for 8 gal of gas plus a $30 fee, very excessive! Will use another company next year!

JOHN MApp to return uhaul was not working properly, no staff for uhaul to assist--was charged unexpected fees that were not explained. Should have been contacted regarding extra fees. Would not recommend use to a friend.

EDWARD BMy rental on 12/3/23 was great. After that rental I received multiple calls and texts about an additional rental on 12/4. I had not made this reservation and 1 of your employees told me that I was going to be charged again.

Edward CCool guy. Clean truck. Very helpful and honestly a convenient set up. I mean you got a car wash the gas station so there's no reason you should be turning in a underfilled and dirty truck and there's no reason why a dirty truck should be going out very pleasant experience with this location.

Scott PThe app needs to be streamlined. I had to pick the truck up off hours so did not have the opportunity to deal with staff. The need to contact a 3rd party is completely absurd. I cannot think of another retail circumstance where that would occur. Frankly if I wasn't boxed in on time I would have left and secured a truck elsewhere.

Scott Rwasn't the staff fault they did their best. took almost 40 mins to check in, system issues. got to my destination (hour plus away) to find out there was NO ramp. i will never rent another truck from this location. I tried to call back to speak with mgr next day to explain how upsetting this is NOT having ramp to move restaurant heavy equipment. But i was told to call back. Didn't waste anymore of my time. Over all what a sad experience. Thank you for sending me a chance to leave a review. Maybe it will make a different for someone else.

BOBBY NTruck had half tank of gas, drove 23 miles was just a hair under half tank after return and was charged $40 for not filling the tank up, it wasn't full when I got the truck. Also got to the location, computer was glitching according to the associate, so they told me to call uhaul 1800 number to change rental time from 4hrs to 24hrs. Had to call them back after I got a receipt through email saying I had to return the truck in 4hrs when 1hr when spent trying to pick it up, and I had changed it from 4hr rental to 24hrs.
Mike RIt was raining very hard when I picked up the utility van. The staff did not offer to walk me to the van to inspect it for any damages, he told me the number and gave me the keys. Just getting to the van, I was soaking wet. At the desk I received a text with a link to share the condition of the van. When I clicked on it, I received a message the link had expired. The bottom of the drivers door had a thick black rubber piece hanging out. The inside of the van was very dirty, it looked like dirt or gravel was hauled in it. I cleaned this so I could load my event items and not get them dirty. this is the first time I experienced a dirty rental.
Mary AI booked the vehicle for grand river location and i got it from ann arbour location. And information came to me just an hour before pickup. Location was far from my home as well. Not satisfied.

Mea MWhere do I start. I signed up for mobile delivery but it apparently was set up for hand delivery. Manager had almost left and was reluctant to stay but did to help me. Numerous problems with the website. Had to call back a number of times. Made me an hour late
Joseph XI did a mobile check in on a Sunday, since they don't have anyone working there on Sundays. After struggling to get all checked in on the app. I finally get the code for the key box, no keys were in it. I had to go behind the counter and grab them myself. Then the app wouldn't let me return the truck. I had to go through the website and that finally worked. I will never use the mobile check in again.

Ion Gwe rentd on line, registered on line and when we got to location luckily for us a U2Go employee just happened to be there. he told us the location was supposed to be closed on July 4. our online checkin did not appear and we had togo thru it all again. If he had not been there this would be a totally different review - equipment ran fine and was clean. However your website and all communications led us to believe we could ck in and get truck with no human interaction. we saw no evidence that this is even possible. Get your act together - we as im sure many other renters have a narrow move window and if the truck was not available Uhaul would have been responsible for it.

JEREMY TNot sure whose responsibility it was but - a $7 pull cart was ordered but not provided - was a ramp supposed to be provided or is that something that needed to be pre-ordered? Also, a code was never provided to access the key to truck as pick up was by phone/internet as truck was scheduled for 8 am, but store doesn't open until 10!

Cameron JIt was an added expense for us to have to return the truck to the point of origin. I expected more from U-Haul. Jason, however, set us up the best he could. We were pleased with his handling of our rental. Hard worker.
Susan BNo one was at the U-Haul desk I was waiting and the door entire time I was informed to talk with the gas station employee behind another desk on the opposite end of the building talk about time wasted. If the sign says U-Haul opens at 10am someone should have been over there.
Joseph PThis place needs internal review. Tried to scam me out of fuel charges luckily I had photos to prove my case. Corrected by U-Haul support but still dealing with the credit holds. Google maps reviews are nothing but terrible for this location and it needs to be shut down.
John GKC and Tanzia were both 'on duty' when I went in cold ... needing to transport furniture on short notice. They helped me secure a van that was newer, clean and adequate. They gave me the 24-hr window and the key. I came back that night, did my business and returned the van after they were closed. Tanzia was so pleasant and efficient. KC helped tidy up the contract and used his own phone to help me with a data exchange. I'm grateful for both of them! An excellent experience. John • Plymouth, Mi.
