I ordered a furniture dolly to go with the van I was renting. They forgot to include it. When I returned the van they charged me for the dolly. I told the girl at the counter and she said she would take it off my charges. She did not. I have called the store 27 times over the last 2 days and they never pick up. The phone rings over to U-Haul central where a recording tells me there is a 33 minute wait. They are great until they get your business then they become totally unresponsive.MAXIMILIAN W.
I had the worst experience with u-haul. I called to confirm five separate times over multiple weeks prior to my move, including two days before moving. The night before my move I call to check in AGAIN, and learn they don't have a truck available for me. After pleading with the customer service representative, she finally finds a truck for me an hour away. Every call to customer service took 30 minutes on hold AT LEAST. I'm very disappointed with u-haul.JUSTIN L.

I had a problem with returning with the Uhaul app. It requires a photo of both the mileage and the gas meter. On the van I was driving, the odometer mileage appeared only after closing the door and before turning on the engine. The gas meter appeared only after turning on the engine. It was impossible to get the odometer and gas meter to show at the same time. I don't know what I would have done if the store had been closed at that time. The staff at this location are gracious, helpful, and friendly.Donovan R.

You ask for another phone number, that is not something you need to do. You push to hard for people to buy your insurance and saying your company will not work with my insurance! That is a RED FLAG. So I will be checking my options next time I need a rental. Your per mile rate is to high. U-haul could do better.MARK L.

The lady who helped me was wonderful, but the truck was so old and musty smelling I'm surprised it was still being used. It had greater than 89 000 miles and so old and dinged up I felt like it was going to break down at any moment. I usually have a really great experiences with you guys but not this timeYUNNA F.

I marked that the equipment was clean, but there was a lot of dog hair in the front passenger seat, probably from the person before me. It didn't cause any issues for me, but I don't want to be blamed for it as I only used the van to pick up groceries and furniture for my new place. I didn't transport any animals. James at the front desk was incredibly helpful when the app struggled to let me check in. He was very courteous and prompt to get me into the van without any wasted time. Give that guy a raise, he went above and beyond despite clearly being very busy.Alexander P.

The manager is 100 % for his customers. My daughter is deaf and he helped her above and beyond the normal. She needed advice on her hitch and the hookup of the trailer. He did a great deal more than he had to, he was patient, kind,, and it is appreciatedKristi F.
Bruh I don't know the name of the guy but he had just started working here and was super helpful, my trucks trailer wiring had become disconnected and this dude busted out his electrical knowledge and experience and got my lights working again, and not to mention the awesome female manager who's name I'm forgetting that helped me get the right adapter and tow ball for my truck, helped me select the correct trailer and got my business squared away in the most helpful and efficient way possible, I would like to thank these two individuals deeply for their time and efforts in helping me solve my problems, would definitely recommend them and the store to anyone needing U-Haul services as they are easy to work with and want to work with you aswellMENELIK H.

You should not charge peoples bank card more money after calling them. I wasn't pleased when you charged my friends bank card more money when you called me about the truck. That wasn't right and you need to give the person back their money. You should not charge money off some ones card without them knowing. That was pretty damn rude. You need to give it back. I experienced a very painful injury while using a trailer I had rented from uhaul. The trailer tail gate was not chained, swung open and landed on my foot. Normally these gates are chained so that they can open only to horizontal or parallel to the trailer bed. I've used these trailers numerous times in the past and never had it where the gate opened beyond horizontal. This time it was not chained and the gate fell completely open and struck my foot against the ground resulting in a incredibly painful injury that will result in the loss of the toenail on my left foot, not to mention incredibly inconvenient due to the fact that I am in the middle of a home sale and cross country move. I'm not sure what protocol is for checking equipment before being released to the customer but this chaining of the gate so that it doesn't swing open to the ground resulting in injuries like mine or worse should be very close if not at the top of the list. I will be filing a claim.JEREMY C.

I made an appointment with UHaul for May 22 2021 to get a hitch put on my Hyundai Santa Fe at 11am.Â Got a reminder on the 17th.Â However on the 19th and 20th I got reminders that changed the time to 5:15. While a big inconvenience, I just went with it and got it done at that time and date.Â When I left after it was completed, I used my right turn indicator to get out of the lot.Â I noticed it blinking erratically, but was worried about getting to my ferry to back home, so I just kept going.Â I did not know what the erratically blinking meant.Â A few weeks later I was told that my right tail light was out.Â And learned that the strange blinking was an indicator that there was an issue.Â Since it was obvious that something had happened during my hitch installation, I called the UHaul that I got the installation from.Â I was transferred to the national line.Â After 2 hours and 13 mins on the phone, I gotÂ an appointment at a differentÂ UHaul toÂ get the lights looked at.Â On July 4th, I went to get them checked.Â After saying it was probably a bad bulb, the person helping me hooked up something to the plug for a trailer and said it was fine and that it was a bad bulb.Â I went next door to a Napa to get one and they were closed.Â So I went home.Â After the weekend, I went to our parts store to get a bulb.Â The new bulb did not work in any of the bulb sockets.Â It is not a bad bulb.Â Unfortunately, I didn't have time to deal with it since I was going on a trip.Â Thankfully I didn't get a ticket because of it.Â I am back and haven't had time to make a two hour call so I am attempting to get some help this way.Â This will be sent every way that I can.Â I hope that I will get a response quickly and that this situation will be resolved.Â Email or a phone message is best, since when I am working I can not answer my cell phone.Â Â Laura Daughenbaugh206firstname.lastname@example.orgÂ ÂLaura D.

The local office made up for U-Haul's horrible web site. The wed site refused to accept my valid credit card, the call center delay of â€œ12-15â€ minutes was equally bad. When I finally got through the trailer I'd wanted to rent was no longer available so I had to drive a extra 4 hours round trip to return itMURRAY E.

Van was not particularly clean on rental, inside of windshield was filthy - I could barely see out when driving toward the afternoon sun. After-hours return sent to my phone did not work, so I called the local office - I have been on hold for 35 minutes and still no response. Called your national number - on hold for 13 minutes before someone answered. This representative transferred the call to customer service, with a 57 minute hold time!! This is totally UNacceptable. Next time I need to rent, I'll be looking at someone OTHER THAN U-Haul - this is NOT customer service.John K.

Less blame on this site then the UHail organization. I reserved a trailer days in advance from facility 10 miles from my locale. Was on my way to pick it up when I noted an odd text message I had to drive 90 RT plus 6,00 $ toll to collect the trailer. VERY POOR SERVICE!SEAN T.

The woman who checked me in demonstrated no customer service skills. She and her coworkers were engaging in idle chit-chat while checking me in. She did not try to engage with me or thank me for my business. I felt like I was at the DMV. Likewise when I returned the rental, I asked the attendant if there is a bathroom I could use and was told no. You should consider offering your customers the use of the bathroom as some have just come off a long drive!MICHAEL M.

Wash the truck, front was so full of bugs as if it had just rolled in from a cross country drive. Windshield was also bugged up and windshield wipers need replaced, nothing but chatter and was quite difficult to see in the rain and smeared bug guts.Ron M.
Navigating the yard was a little difficult, somebody had pulled in to drop off a car dolly, I was instructed to back up to my trailer rental, had to drive around 2 city blocks to get to it. Not a big deal for me, but only 1 person working other people had to wait.CADE B.

Your online reservation system needs an overhaul. What a piece of crap! I uploaded the front and back of my license during the reservation process to speed things up.
