Citlali was very helpful, quick, and courteous. She gave great customer service and knows her stuff. We had to extend our time with the truck and when calling everything was quick and easy. Upon returning the rental, all we had to do was leave the key in the box. Great service.

This comment is more for you customer service and scheduling. I tried your online reservations for the first time. It seems simple enough however I could not figure out how to rent a truck for more than one day. So I rented the truck and figured I could call to extend it for another day. When I called the first customer service person told me that I could extend it however she was unable to do it due to some computer issues. She then referred me to a different number which was for scheduling and said that they would be able to help me because she sees the availability all that needed to happen were some trucks needed to be reassigned. When I called that number the lady was rude and said she didn’t care what the first person told me they were not going to rearrange trucks and that I had to turn the truck back in. So I went online figuring I could just find another location to rent me another truck similar to the one I had. The aggravating part about it was that I was able to rent the same truck from the same location but I had to turn it in. That just doesn’t seem to make too much sense

Went to 4 different uhaul locations. 1st didn’t have anything available they sent us to another location which the said would. We arrive at second location apparently they double booked this trailer.. we were sent to another location this time the person made a reservation. We arrive at 3rd location and truck is not there... we wait 30 mins and are told to go to 4th location which actually is did have truck. Not the one we were looking for but atleast it was something. Person at 4th location was nice

The entire uhaul process just sucks overall. The poor employees are the ones who have to deal with the screwed up system and method corporate has in place. Customers are already at a high stress level, and to go through the process of picking up the truck is not a very pleasant experience. I would actually love for YOU corporate execs to give through the entire process without anyone knowing who you are so you can feel our pain. Plus no sense of pre-registering because I had to download my driver's license 3 different times so what's the point of supposedly doing it ahead?? I would hate to work for uhaul under these conditions and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Location was fine but the entire UHAUL system was down for some hours and I could not check out my rental van!! This is UNACCEPTABLE. Your employees do not have a backup system in place such as old school paper invoicing. Even your website was down so I could not use Express Check Out on a very urgent schedule. You MUST address this huge oversight.

I needed to reverse a charge in order to use a new card, and they were giving me a hard time. I was told from my drop off location that I needed to reach out to customer service after a day to dispute it. Upon doing so, customer service directed me to my pick up location to resolve my issue, and in calling the Oakland Customer service they were giving me a hard time and sending me away to begin with, and didn't want to help me. Miscommunication all around, and I still don't have the issue resolved. I wasn't looking to dispute a charge, but to change the payment method, and nobody seemed to be able to help me.

The staff was very polite and helpful I always used that location because is very easy for me because I leave in the area and I never had a problem with them don't matter what always I'm available to manage to to move what I need to move with no problems I'm a client since 2010 and i don't have nothing wrong to say about this location I appreciate there soport and there help

I reserved my vehicle on line and still had to wait in line for 20 mins to process the reservation. When asked to upload my driver's license twice the app doesn't work. The clerk had to manually do it which was time consuming.

First of all this was my first time renting the service for uhaul, everything was good but what i was disappointed & not happy was about the payment method was not explain completely. I asked that if there was a deposit required and if so if it was refunded when the uhaul was return in good conditions and the person helping me with the reservation said that if you pay cash yes you have to leave a deposit but if you are paying with a debit, visa or some kind of credit card no you dont have to leave no deposit, so i said if any kind of card and he said yes as long its a debit or visa its ok we accept. So i asked him well i have my bank card and its a liquid account which means its a pre-paid card and he said its ok no problem we do accept it. So i went into the location to finish up the reservation. So he told me that the total for the rental is $30 something dollars and i told him ok thats fine so i used the uhaul for the time i rented it and i returned it on time and i put gas in it as a matter of fact i put more gas than what i used. So anyways at that moment the gentleman said that i was going to get back on my account $60 something dollars and i asked him but why if i paid the $30 something dollars already with my card and he said well thats the remaining ballance from the $100 deposit and i was like what deposit ?? If you had told me the total amount for the uhaul was $30 something then he said oh well like your card is a pre-paid card it requires a deposit so i was like you never told me that and he was well yeah that it took the deposit and i told him well if that was the case then i would of used my other debit card or just paid cash. So thats the reason i was not happy at all. I will definitely think about it twice before using uhaul cause you never know that you might not get all the information for the services.

We reserved a cargo van online for late night pickup. We show up and the app said we had to pickup until the next day. During business hours. We called support and they said that location did not have mobile pickups and there were not cargo vans anywhere around. This completely messed up our plans. Will not recomend.

The U-Haul representative in the front desk was extremely rude. She will not let customers finish their sentence when she will interrupt with assumptions. She put at least about 7 people on hold but never made an attempt to answer the phone to answer their questions. I waited over 50 minutes to get my U-Haul. Although, I had a confirmation number. At least 20 times, she stopped her work related responsibilities to text someone on her personal phone. When Spanish speaking customers called she will tell them in a very short unprofessional manner that she did not speak Spanish. My U-Haul had contracts from previous customers which tells me that they did not service the truck appropriately.

Just because I didn’t have a reservation the sales person first said that the rental was for 6 hrs. I said it the rental is supposed to be for 24 hrs. At first he said I’d have to return the truck at 9:30PM. I wasn’t getting the rental to be rushed.

Tacoma Auto Sales in Downey down the street from this location was a nightmare. Totally unprofessional, arrived at 9am and there was a sign that said went out to get breakfast be back soon. I waited until 10am and he said “I don’t have any U-Haul’s” go down the street. Didn’t bother to confirm the transfer or availability. Luckily I had a 10’ and it was there. Another couple that was also with me at the Downey location was re-routed to another location. Horrible horrible service, that place should be removed from the u-haul system
