Melody Hansenwhen we came to drop off the truck the employee physically attacked a customer, leaving him bleeding. A different worker just had us leave the keys with him. Pretty traumatic to watch.

When I got to the counter, no hello or good morning, just " how can I help you" in a very low care level tone. When I returned the truck 5 hours later the reception and service was much better.

FELTON POLLARDVery inconvenient experience this morning. I reserved a cargo van via mobile app, couldn't confirm pick up via mobile app. Got transferred on the phone 5 times to only be told to go into the office to complete my pick up. Then I was told the cargo van wasn't at the location and my reservation had to be transferred to another location, which put me an hour behind schedule. Zero accommodations to make things right for the inconvenience. Terrible experience

JOHN BAZZI had the impression my Uhal rental was for 24 hours!, and that I can bring it back within 24 hours! The uhal rep did NOT make it clear to me that if I did NOT bring it back by a 5pm, That's very sneaky and scandalous of you guys to do. I am super disappointed and would never use Uhal again... Uhal should train their employees to be more transparent, clear and honest with customers.

I am so upset I went through your company I wish I hired movers because the cost for your rental was absolutely ridiculous.i would have paid the same amount for movers thene moving things myself And I never ever forget this experience. You need a better members team because I was lied about 3 times in the course of having your rental . Furthermore people on the office advised I would be charged one rate and bill for equipment I didn't receive and charged 100 dollars more for service I never received . richard dascenzoI would like to start out saying that the girl who helped us at the counter (sorry, did not get her name) was very nice and extra helpful. We were having some issues with the app and she was very patient and seemed happy to assist us. She is definitely an asset to U-Haul. Our issue was actually getting the truck which we had booked about four weeks in advance. We received a call the week prior to pickup and were told there might not be a truck. Then we were told we might have to travel 100 miles away to get one or we may have to accept a smaller truck. Finally, we were told that nothing could be confirmed until the day before we were to leave which was a 385 mile drive from our house. This definitely added extra stress to an already stressful move. My father passed away last year and my mother was packing up her home of nearly forty years to move out of state. My husband had already put in time off so we could drive from the Phoenix area to the Los Angeles area. My four siblings and their spouses, as well as some nieces and nephews, had all arranged to come help. When we were told that there might not be a truck, we were offered a $500 credit if we would drive it back - 385 miles. We said no way. At one point we received a text asking us to tow a trailer from Orange County (over an hour from my mother's house) to Scottsdale (over a half hour past our house) for $450. Also no. We actually got a call a day earlier than we were told and had to pick up our truck in Long Beach (over 20 miles away) instead of our preferred location of Gardena (less than two miles away). I realize that more people are moving out of California that are moving to California. That is why we rented three different trucks last year. However, it should not be the responsibility of the customer to return truck or trailers. We paid extra for a one-way trip and we have no desire to return. U-Haul needs to hire some drivers and get some of the trucks and trailers back. Also, the app did not work when we were trying to check out which also added more time and frustration.

Thomas FigelNot sure if this is something you can improve or if it is just my phone. I suggest a stronger WiFi access point by the store, as one is either picking up or returning the truck, one wants to do it expeditiously and if the reception of the phone is spotty, it feels a bit frustrating.

They really took the time to help us when we were having an issue with our trailer hitch and then quickly found us an alternative when we realized our trailer hitch wasn't going to work. Matt MooreCouldn't understand the young man on the phone. I figured when I spoke to him in person it would be better. I was wrong. Your customer service staff needs a strong, clear voice, not timid and slurred. This is a job skill to be sought, valued, and encouraged. Very hard to communicate when speaking skills are weak.
stephen millarJosh (J) is who made the experience outstanding. we've been renting trucks from this location for over 18 years. What was not fun ... when I booked the truck this morning ... I should have been made aware to check out needed the UHaul app. I had to waste 25 minutes getting the data on the APP just to check out the truck. not fun and there were 4 other people also being made to check out on the APP.. Josh helped each and everyone of us calmly and professionally...

Other than that, the service was amazing and ease of picking up/returning truck was great. Will continue to use U-Haul in the future!

This is an inconvenience and if you continue I would seriously reconsider going elsewhere to take my business. Outside of that it was a great experience.

MANUEL QUIROZRODRIGUEZBetter customer service. Staff should explain the process and inspect the vehicle with the customer for no surprises. First time renting and last time with your company. I was charged for a dent on the passenger's door which I did not commit and it couldn't have happen on the street because it was parked in a driveway. I was a walk in and the employee who greeted me slouching on his chair had me do a reservation on my phone in front of him. but since I was taking a while to go over all the pages of unnecessary information employee ended up registering me which took a couple minutes and he did it simply because it was the end of his shift… he gave me the key pointed out to the truck and left. I did received a text but didn't see it because I was driving heading to Temecula almost 2 hrs away. It was not a pleasant experience having to pay for someone else incident. When we returned the truck, we mentioned it to the lady at the desk but she wouldn't listen to us. She would keep talking and talking telling us we were responsible for damages. God knows I did not make that dent and hope you will train your staff to better serve the customers at least inspect the vehicle with the customer.
