The truck was in good shape and worked well, and the process with on line checkin was smooth. It would have been great to get a full tank of gas (I started with less than 1/2 tank). I filled the tank - more than was required - and still got charged for a couple of miles over the contract mileage. Seems it would be fair to prorate that. Overall, smooth customer experience and good help at both ends, and that's worth a lot.

At the Monterey location, it would be helpful if there were a sign or something on the ground to indicate you’re in line to be helped at the counter. I’ve been to this location multiple times and there is always confusion about who is waiting to pick up a vehicle. Also, the staff at this location isn’t very friendly (not that they are rude just... apathetic), and they NEVER pick up the phone.

The facility was large, well organized, and clean. The representative was aloof and disinterested in helping me get the content of my Uhaul trailer in storage so I could return the trailer. The one-month free storage space was unavailable. Other than referring me to the national UHaul callcenter, he offered no other suggestions. Ultimately, I found a non-Uhaul storage company, which resulted in my going beyond my allotted time and an additional $40.00. I definitely would not recommend the Monterey UHaul location.

Del Monte location would not let me rent truck for more than one day. I had to call corporate inorder to rent for 3 days. ( Del Monte wanted me to pay $200 more on top of daily fee for 3 days)

Check in was not thorough or accurate. Gas was not where contract stated, little care or customer service was provided. Was essentially just handed keys and told to take my own pictures

I had the worst experience with UHaul. They made my order wrong, were days late, never responded to my concerns, and would hang up on me on almost every call.

The staff recommended someone who could move my uboxes to my place for unloading. It saved me a lot of time and money to not have to unload at Uhaul.

Poor promises made and then unfulfilled until pressured. Finally received my UBox today 8/24 from 7/28. Repeatedly charged for service not received. The managers finally got billing and box to me.

Fantastic Location. After many messy and unresolved issues from the originating location, the store manager Alfredo went out of the norms of typical customer service to ensure everything was fixed.
