The overall service is very good. The staffs are friendly. I reserved a furniture dolly along with the truck. I didn't know the dolly was not available until the time I checked out the truck. I wished I was made aware of this so that I could do something. I would rate the service excellent if this didn't happen.

I was told after being charged that the 10 dollar insurance fee was mandatory for the vans. I would have just used the 10 foot truck if that was the case. I then used the truck for 11 miles total and was charged for 2 gallons of gas a 5 dollars per gallon. FOR 11 miles!!!!! That’s criminal. What should have been 29 dollars turned into a 50 dollar charge for a quick 11 mile trip over 1 hour.

Exceedingly slow checkout process, despite having done everything I could online before arrival. The one item I requested were moving pads, which only midway through process was I told they had none. No onsite parking available, even for a partial day rental. Will go elsewhere in the future.

Gas gauge was misread. It was closer to empty than 1/4 tank as indicated on paperwork. Other than that, the service representative was professional and friendly.

Terrible experience. I reserved a truck at the Piedmont location—day of. I received an email confirming the location. I showed up and was told my reservation was at a different location. The lady at the front desk was less than helpful. She never apologized once. She just repeatedly said I had received a text message confirming the location according to the notes in the system. She eventually said, well you can go to Peachtree or you won’t have a truck because I don’t have any here. Again, never apologized. I called customer service on my way to Peachtree location. They were nice, but said, let me just make sure you don’t get charged any fees. I was like, what?! Why would I get charged any fees? In the end, she confirmed there was a truck for me at Peachtree. I said I would like to claim the $50 Uhaul guarantee since my reservation was not honored. She said no problem and supposedly processed the claim, and advised a manager would be calling me within 24 hours. I have yet to receive a phone call, and it has been 42 hours—two days. Terrible experience and customer service all the way around.

First two trucks were too risky to drive. Drivers sunvisor broken and hung down obscuring vision. Second truck had drivers side mirror duct taped to the side of the truck. Staff told me that if I lost the mirror, that’s on me. All 3 trucks were filthy in the back. I personally swept all 3 trucks by myself. Third truck wasn’t broken so I used that one. The whole process took an hour and was quite a disappointing ordeal. I will try Lowe’s next time.

You need to fix your online and phone booking system. I book one truck and then i was not confirmed by the store. Then i had to call the store and wait for 30 minutes for the person to pick up and when she did, she didnt even have my confirmation. She made me call corporate to send them (the store) confirmation. When i went to store they said we have a 26ft for you and i showed them confirmation for 20ft. And on top of that your customer service is full of disrespect. They don't know how to talk to customers. The lady was so pissed at when i asked her to come out to inspect the truck . No worries one day your monopoly will be finished too. Poor customer service and booking software should be under a check

upon arrival, the rep was fair, wasn’t customer service savvy for the most part. The assistant manager was horrible! We checked into a truck that had a check engine light on along with no ac working. We were there since like 3pm and had to wait another additional 30 mins so he could help the other customers instead of switching us to another truck. What we originally reserved they didn’t have the truck there, no pads, had to purchase a hand dolly since they didn’t have any furniture moving Dolly’s. This place was definitely a mess, super unorganized and poor customer service!

I was given a box truck that had a broken left side views mirror that was taped and couldn’t be adjusted which isn’t safe. Additionally I was told I had 7/8 fuel but it was lower. Without using the AC I drove 18 miles and my fuel receipt was $9 for exactly 4 gallons. I am the truck gets more than 4.5 miles to the gallon. When I asked for a different truck I was told that was all they had yet I saw 2 of the same size 5 minutes from closing time. Please reimburse me for the $50 guarantee because I was not provided a safe truck to drive and I spent more on fuel than was proper. I can email you my fuel receipt for proof.

For starters, I was sent a txt with the wrong pick-up location many miles away from my requested pick-up location. Once I arrived the UHaul manager told me they didn't return one-way trucks out of that location, and told me my location was now a different location (this one list here as 3947 Peachtree Rd, Atlanta, GA. When I arrived at this location, while they had a truck for me, they did not have the 20 moving blankets/pads that I had on my order, nor did they have the furniture dolly again which was on my order. How is it possible for your business to NOT have blankets or furniture dollys? You are a MOVING based business. The $50 credit I was given on pickup due to the inconvenience was no where near the value of the inconvenience in this rental pickup and the impact it had on my moving plans. Your order fulfillment software is severely lacking as most every requested location that I've chosen all result in different pick-up locations that are NOT convenient. Consider investing in your technology or in finding the right people who know how to build quality, well-functioning software.

Terrible customer service. There was only one person in the front desk and was answering personal calls while two customers where there. Also, I got locked out of the truck and called road assistance and it took 3 hours for them to actually call me back and on top of that was charged 20 more.

I unexpectedly purchased an automobile in Atlanta while visiting and needed a trailer to tow it approximately 185 miles to my home. I took a chance and visited the nearest Uhaul location to the car dealer at 2951 NE EXpwy in Chamblee, GA without a reservation. Unfortunately, that location did not have the trailer I needed. However, the manager there, Darnell, came to my rescue and worked diligently to accommodate my needs by locating a trailer as close to the auto dealership as possible. I liked his attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to minimize my inconvenience. Please convey my thanks and sincere appreciation to him for stepping up and providing assistance to me. As I departed his location, I informed him that his company would surely provide him with a big Christmas bonus. Uhaul is very fortunate to have individuals such as Darnell in the organization.
