The people working here were rude, very unfriendly, condescending and major attitude. For what reasons? Who knows, but every time I went in there to ask a question, I was met with the same bad attitude by every employee. Also, the truck was dirty and smelled like sweaty butt crack. Also, the seats were incredibly uncomfortable as they did not recline. Horrible experience driving 2 000 miles in a truck who's seat would not recline. I would not have wasted the money should I have been made aware of this prior to renting. Someone should have told me ahead of time. As a result, my neck and back are hurting me and I have to go find a chiropractor, acupuncture and massage.ROBERT R.

Be more specific about how much to re-fuel because the past 2-3times I rented vehicles I waaay over paid and wasn't compensated for the extra I spent that I didn't need to because I was not sure how much it would take to get it back to where it was supposed to be!!!SHEILA C.

My contract gave a return time that was after business hours. This I'm guessing was a mistake of the attendant who checked me out. It resulted in me sitting in the parking lot for almost an hour trying to get the app to work for an after hour checkin, and then calling and waiting for another hour on the phone with customer service before giving up. I was also charged an extra fee for after hour drop off which I had refunded (which is why this review is 2 stars instead of 1).CURTIS M.

I rented a cargo van to move some furniture and returned it after only 2 hours. The employee assured me he would handle the return and I was free to go. The next morning I received a call asking me to return my vehicle. I was charged for gas (which is not ok, beings as it was returned at the same level I got it at) and charged for an extra day. I was refunded partially after speaking to another employee. The communication was poor between employees.LESLIE W.

There was something wrong with the gas tank. When I tried to fill up the tank the gas kept clicking off every couple seconds (it did this every time I filled up). I had to constantly click the handle to fill up which took over 20 minutes. I called the pick up location about the issue and they tried to get in touch with someone regarding the issue. Their manager ended up telling them to tell me that the gas gauge must be off and the tank was actually full (it wasn't). No help whatsoever and was forced to click my way up to 20 gallons.MITCHELL CURTIS M.

U-Haul reviews are mixed. However our rental of a one way trailer was perfectly managed. Trailer was well maintained. Service at the origin was excellent hooking up our trailer, checking lights etc.Joseph D.
After we left the site and gotten to our local location (not our final destination), I got a text that I should click on a website and fill out a form to record the condition of the vehicle, almost as a protection for myself in case there was damage that I would be able to show was already there. It seems like the personnel at the UHaul location could have recommended that I check it over before leaving, or something helpful like that. The agent seemed a bit terse and dismissive, kind of like a young IT professional that sounds "annoyed" with having to either explain something or clarify a comment. To those with poor hearing, it comes across as not very pleasant.ANDREW K.

After creating an appointment online I arrived at the store for the install to find out that they did not have the part and did not even know that I had set up an appointment. While I was there they ordered the part which took two days to arrive and another four for an install scheduled. Really if they had just called to tell me that they didn't have the part before I showed up it would have been OK. I could have cancelled my equipment rental. To be fair I think that the install is good, but I have not had a chance to use it yet.david C.

The truck door hardly would close and the latch to close it only worked 1/2 the time. Spent a lot of time messing with it to work. Hopefully they will fix it by the next customer. Couldn't return it to get another because truck was already filled and on time constraint. People were nice in there and was a simple process to rent.TAMERA H.

When I returned the uhaul and did everything online that was asked of me is when I found out there is a 25 $cleaning fee. It is not shown on the contract given to me by the manager of the store. Nor did she feel it was necessary to tell me. To me this is horrible customer service to let your website at checkout be how this is found out. Never will I use your services again. I will not recommend this business and will let everyone I can know that this is how your company does business. Also I used this truck for a bout 3 hours. Nothing to clean. I sanitized everything I touched upon entry and exit. What are you going to do that is worth 25 $?GERALD L.

Third time in a row the staff has been rude and unorganized. One time opened 30 minutes late. Another, reserved equipment not available. And yet another, insisted I back a large trailer into a narrow area I'm not qualified to do. I'm not the only one. Frustrated customers all the time.SHAUN M.

There was a small miscommunication that resulted in my being double billed. I called the customer service line and spoke with the representative. He mentioned the issue before I could and had my issue resolved in just minutes. When Tamara at my location called to follow up things could not have gone smoother. While this location has ALWAYS treated me well. The original drop location at West Kimberly were anything but kind, where I and my daughter were threatened with physical harm by Uhaul employee Paris. This man told me that "I got your address, I'll be seeing you" as he pointed his fingers like a pistol at me! DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY UHAUL IS OK WITH THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!CHARLA T.

Personnel were nice and helpful, but do NOT trust the reservation system It would not let me reserve a trailer at this site. I had to reserve on on West Kimberly road (with cc entered). Went to pick it up, they sent me back to the Spruce Hills location. While the personnel are very nice, they were definitely overworked as myself and 2 other people were waiting for 10 minutes before we could get help.Alex H.

I've used this location many times and never been late in turning in a unit. I didn't appreciate the call I received from them stating it was late because I checked the contract and what happened after I rented it was outside my control. We were ripped off by Mayflower Relocation and had to find someone else to help pack this unit and it was only my 90 year old father and myself to unpack it. As it was I was late to a doctor's appointment that they almost canceled after I had driven all night to get to. I'm glad your employee has never had a problem like we had before but sometimes life doesn't go so well. And she obviously lied about having it rented because they had one exactly the same size parked on the property.Katherine Y.
I tried to get the truck for longer time, after being placed on hold for 30 minutes, was advised hey would not be able to do this as the truck was reserved for right after us. When we dropped the truck off there were several other trucks, the same size by the way, in the parking lot. We were 5 minutes late returning the truck. I received a phone call. The rep did not give me his name or what company he was with. He just asked where the equipment number was. I had to ask the rep several times who he was in order to figure out what he was talking about. By the way we were in the check in line at the time we got the call.JOE ANN J.

The gas tank was almost empty when I drove off the lot and I had to immediately stop and get gas. I expect the gas tank to be full to begin with. Right before I bring the truck back, I expect to fill the tank back up to full. That way, I only pay for what gas I used. The passenger door would not open from the outside so, we had to roll the window down and reach inside to open the door. When I returned the truck, the sign said to stay with the truck and an employee would come check it in. Other rentals came back in after me, and the drivers went inside and were immediately helped, before me. Signage needs to be changed to show that customers need to go inside to return the vehicle. Clerk liked to talk to much and needed to concentrate on taking care of business. When you are moving, it is usually stressful and usually you are in a time crunch to get it done and just need to be taken care of in a timely fashion without a lot of stopping for conversation. These were not huge problems, just annoying. I will rent from this location again and would recommend it.JEANNE R.
