When I went to pick up my rental at 1130pm, there was no key in the lock box. To say it was an inconvenience would be an understatement. I had to wait until the next morning to pick my rental up, which in turn, delayed my entire moving process by a day.Andrew C.

We had a fantastic move experience! The cargo van was comfortable and easy to manage in NY streets. We did a one way dropoff which was perfect for our move. We hired movers through UHaul to unload at our daughters walk up apartment. Best idea ever! The job was done in half the time and freed us up to start unpacking. Worked out great!ALAIN J.

Make sure the inside on vans are clean. It was sticky substance over the steering wheel ,window ,cup holder and radio. As well as leaves dirt on the seats .JOAN P.

I tried to use there bar code to scan the cargo van in but I was not able to create and account , so I could of return the vehicle correctly aHathi B.

You would not take the wife's credit card with matching last names but you had to have her as a second emergency contact and you spoke to her to confirm her number, but wouldn't take her card over the phone. Counter dude could have e cared less about this issue.Howard H.

Charged me ~20 $for gas even though I a) brought the truck back at the same point on the fuel gage, b) only drove 18 miles and c) put ~12 $of gas in the truck on my way back anyway. I believe they read the fuel indicator correctly when they made the contract out, but incorrectly when closing the contract.RICHARD P.

It took a half-hour to check out the vehicle so we were running a little behind schedule. The gas gauge read about 5/8, instead of the 3/4 we were told to expect. I drove 22 miles and put in 3,27 gallons of gas, within a mile of the return. At the station, the gauge read 3/4. I had the gas receipt to show at check-in. We were told that we did not have to go into the store for the return, which was a good option during the pandemic. The receipt I got claims the gas gauge read 11/16, and I was charged 6 $for an estimated 1,5 gallons of gas. I bet that the previous renter was charged for an estimated 3 gallons on a return with only 5/8 tank, and the tank was not filled to the 3/4 mark. Take pictures of the gas gauge, before and after, to protect yourself.Alan G.

The representative Tyrik Williams is a great guy that does a lot of work and wears many hats. He does his job well and with a smile on his face. I saw a customer yell and cuss at him but it didn't phase him at all. He kept doing his job happily and didn't let it effect him. If I was his boss I would give him a raise to keep this wonderful man employed here.JAMES G.
I was overcharged!!! I have before and after photos of my mileage and gas tank, plus I gave the vehicle back on a full tank and they said I didn't and I was charged for that! So, I only use them because they make it easy for you to get a rental, otherwise no I wouldn't them at all! They are a rip-off!!! Please be sure to track your mileage because they will get you. This is the second time I have had this experience with U-Haul. I think I am going to try Budget Rental next time.Melvia M.
