Could not check in using App. Had to call customer support. 30 mins wait. Transferred. Cut off. U-Haul on-line was flaky - took another 70 mins to check in and get truck. 1- I appalled your company, as it appears business is exceptionally good. Having said that, the truck I leased was not so clean when I took it over. Food debris in the dash open compartment. A suggestion; the Agent upon completing leasing agreement shouldnletncustomer know the drop-off procedure to minimize customer wait time. Your Agents are busy, I saw one agent at the counter, the other two were outside preparing returned rentals for being re-rented. At no time while I was there there were not at lease three customers waiting to be waited on. Then average time per customer is around 7-12 minutes. No where for customers to sit. After about 15 minutes another Agent came in to assist customers waiting for reservations and to rent trucks. Again, congratulations on the business especially on the weekends, but another Counter Agent would have customers feel better as seeing yourself as the third person in linenwith only one Counter Agent us depressing. The people that suppose to check in the vehicles should tell the customer right then and there is whats owed, not once you leave and the promissory notice should be (30 days) to pay NOT (7 DAYS).....REALLY..!! You have your property back. Give your customers Enough TIME to pay what they owe, its like you charging people to fast and not giving enough time to pay whats owed. I am just suggesting.....Alice C.

I used the Truck Share feature and it was an easy/smooth process. This location only had one person working at first, she was outside inspecting and cleaning the trucks. So when I went inside I had to wait some time before I could get my key. There was already a customer inside who had been waiting. She informed me the girl outside was by herself so I was expecting to wait patiently. They an customer walked in and we're all just standing there waiting, and magically another employee walks behind the counter. I'm not sure if he was on break, taking a nap or had just arrived. Either way once he showed up I was able to quickly get my key and finish the process. Returning the truck was a breeze. I would definitely use the 24/7 Truck Share feature again.Kyrsten H.

The staff (Michelle) was very rude and she called my phone to make sure it is valid and she also asked for second contact number and demanded that the person should pickup the call. I have rented uhaul many times but no one NEVER called the number to verify. She deliberately choose the old trailer among all trailers and didn't confirm the reservation till it was hooked up and tested by the uhaul employee. Looks like she tried her best to deny my rental and i don't know why...may be because it was my race since she was very nice to the customer before meJohn E.

The staff was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I had a wonderful experience. The truck functioned perfectly. Overall just stellar. But then I have never had a bad experience at U-Haul. Your employees know their business and treat customers well. No high pressure to up sell and no deceptive practice regarding things like fuel. "The truck has this much gas. Bring it back with that amount." None of this, "Do you want to buy your own gas or pay us for the gas," BS. I hate stuff like that where they try to trick you to make a couple more dollars. It demeans the customer. I had a fantastic relaxed experience. Merci!Philip L.

Only one person serve there but he is doing his job. In two weeks, I used U-haul twice. Very disappoint ( I used U-Haul before, It was not like this)- the quality of workesr is very low adding a lot of stress to the two moving events. This site has only one person. But he is doing his job. I think U-Haul still has hope if you are going to give your worker better training how to do their jobs.Fow-Sen C.
The vehicle was in poor condition, there were things in the truck I did not order. I was charged for hand trucks and furniture pads I never ordered and never used. I would like my money back in those items, they totaled $44.MICHAEL P.

1st issue NO TRUCK was there. The previous person didn't return it. Not one call to let is know. We show up and it took her an hour to fund us one. Ok, the guy at the next place was just simple. He put us through hoops for no reason. Denied he knew we were coming and asked my husband unnecessary questions to get the rental. I did get a 50 buck credit but the entire rental should of been free. Pick up time was 9 we got a truck closer to 10:30. Threw off time for the entire move. Lost 1 mover because of time so I only had my husband and one person to help.Maurice C.

When I rented the truck it said it had a half a tank I took a picture before I drove it which showed a little less than when we returned it it was still the same amount of gas as we only drove it 4 miles total and we still had to pay $35 for some reason not really happyStephanie S.
When I originally picked up the truck there was one worker doing his best to help the dozens of customers in the shop. I was given a truck where the headlights and windshield wipers did not work. It was raining the day of my move and when I called customer service it took over 40 minutes for someone to get back to me and another 2 hours before the truck was fixed and ready to use again. Additionally, for a company that is supposed to help people through the moving process and not offer any help for a service I am paying for, I was extremely disappointing. I will NEVER use U-Haul again in the future. They truly could seem to care less that I was encountering these issues and did not even try to sort out the inconvenience with me.Monica G.

The manager at this location said their were no trucks available and only a 10 ft cargo van . I saw a bunch of trucks on the lot and got curious . At the point I decided to go on the app and come to find out their were trucks available and since I was desperate to get something at the time I decided to do the reservation that way .Najiburahman P.

The customer service was terrible. I arrived at 7:15am for a 7:30am reservation. I was the only one there. The clerk said he'd be with me in a moment, and then went outside and moved trucks around and squirted them down. After literally ten minutes, he came back in and started helping me. Since I could only have the truck rental for two hours (even though I had to pay a full day's rate) making me wait an unnecessary extra 10 minutes was irritating. Additionally, he required me to give him an emergency contact number that he could call and verify. I gave him my wife's number, but I told him she was extremely ill and may not answer the phone since she was still sleeping (it was 7:29am). He insisted that he had to speak to her, so I had to call her several times to wake her up. Then, when he then called her, it was obvious she was sick but he offered no apology for disturbing her. The customer service was terrible - I won't be back.Charles M.

The young man at the counter, Mr. Tirek Williams, was pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient. He managed to get each of the customers on our way smoothly, despite having some bumps in his day (there was an issue with the computer, and an issue with the attachment to one of the trucks and a trailer connected to it. And that was first thing in the morning! In this day and age, Mr. Williams's customer service made a stressful event (a move), less so. Priceless!Leon B.

The truck was clean and the staff was fantastic. The truck itself has seen better days. The parking brake light wouldn't come off, so I had to deal with incessant beaping while driving the truck. The truck's suspension is shot as well. The weather liner on the doors is falling off as well. The truck needs to be retired.David T.

The Representative was very rude. Made us wait while talking outside with other people who was not customers. Besides, his tone and body language wasn't welcoming. Vehicle was clean, but didn't drive smoothly probably due to age, it had over 156k miles. I was charge for gas even though I returned it the same spot it was before picking up. The representative at the store did not trust me and I felt I was being interrogated. I felt very disrespected and belittled. After verifying my information. He wanted a reference number so I gave him the number of a friend. This is what he wrote to her, "You will be receiving a call shortly from a U-Haul representative regarding your reservation. Please expect the call from (410) 747-8500. Thank you." She didn't even know I was renting a U-Haul van. He said he was going to give her a call regarding her reservation. I didn't like my experience and I don't think I'll be going back. I didn't like the $25 cleaning fee either.Victor F.

The mobile check in and out process was smooth. I did have a challenge unlocking the key box upon arrival however the attendants had arrived for the day and assisted me. There was some dog hair within the vehicle but we reported it when we accepted the vehicle.Janet H.
