Returning vehicle after hours is an awful experience. The website return process didn't work even with all the instructions being followed. A call to the service desk (help with checking out/returning vehicle) was a 56minute wait. They did call back and made a note in the record, and told me I had to call the location office in the morning. I did, but the phone tree doesn't get you to a local rep, and the time was 20 minutes. I ended up returning in person to confirm the vehcile return. They had a person there just starting (at 9:30am) going through the returns. I was then charged an additional return fee for the 'return service'. Fix the return process!!!!!BENEDICT C.

The customer representative that checked out my equipment was clearly disinterested in being at work. At best I would say the interaction was uncomfortable as a customer. When I checked my equipment in, a pre-teenage boy was behind the desk wearing u-haul clothes and eating a bag of chips. The boy casually asked my name and said To leave the equipment outside and that I was â€œgood to goâ€. Clearly the return was not processed because I received a call later questioning if I had ever returned the equipment.RICARDO F.

Upon returning the rental, the employee working with me: 1- over charged me for 2 dollies - I ordered 1 and there was 0 in the vehicle (which had empty cans in it by the way) 2 - the employee was extremely rude, not wearing a mask and telling me to stand to the side while he fixed the charges 3 - upon leaving he told me to â€œf*** offâ€ for disputing the charge So I'd suggest not doing any of the above.CARLOS A.
I wasn't able to complete the online/mobile return when I finished my job around midnight so I left the vehicle in the lot and took the key home with me (I live nearby) so I could check in in person in the morning. I slept in past the 8am check in time and showed up an hour late. Someone tried to break into the lock and the insurance policy had to be invoked. In the end the gentleman who checked me out was very gracious and polite even though I'm sure it was a pain to deal with a truck not properly returned on time. Merci!Javeir S.
Our truck was totally a mess. The air conditioning didn't work. There were no pads or a dolly to be used anywhere in sight. We've used UHAUL a few times over this past month and this was the worst experience we've had and made our moving experience more stressful.Emily H.

Stop giving vans out that are already assigned to people. 3 groups were assigned to the same van within a 10 minute period. Also, just cancel the whole 24/7 truck share pick up at different locations service. It's absolutely terrible and ruined my whole morning as I sat outside of a van for an hour on Steiner and Hayes trying to get into the van that my reservation was for only for customer service to tell me that all vehicles at that location were out of serviceâ€¦Alexandra D.

As the mobile app didn't work to return the truck after hours, I returned it not closing the lease. I went in the morning the next day and someone had pumped the fuel off the truck, so the cost was 90usd more. As I took a photo proving that the tank was half full, as I received it, they promised to return the money to my card. I hope you fix the app and also that you investigate the trucks returned empty in this location.Leonardo C.

Friendly, funny, and helpful staff. Checkout was quick and easy compared to other locations. Exterior paneling under rear right blinker was falling off, interior of van was dirty, cab was cleanIAN B.
The rental agent forgot my blanket which I had purchased. She said she would bring it to me in a minute. She did not bring the blanket to me. The crew member who brought me rental blankets could use some customer service TRAINING. What happened was I was looking over my rental van while waiting for the rental agent to bring the blanket I had purchased online. The crew member put a bag of blankets on the ground next to a van he was was beginning to clean. He announced words to the effect of "here are some blankets." No eye contact. He was looking off into the street. I didn't pay attention. He brought out more bags of rental blankets and placed them next to the van he was cleaning. I thought he was preparing for other customers. Meanwhile I reviewed the physical properties of the van and took pictures showing previous damage and condition. After ten minutes of waiting for the rental agent to bring me my purchased blanket, which never came, I approached the crew member and asked him if a certain bag of blankets was mine. INSTEAD of a simple, "Yes, they're yours," he stated " I already told you I brought you your blankets." That kind of makes it sound like I was at fault or that he was scolding me. A simple "yes, they are your blankets" would have sufficed. That is why I say he needs some interpersonal training. He came off as miffed that I interrupted his cleaning of the van. What this crew member SHOULD HAVE DONE was approach me, the ONLY CUSTOMER in the parking lot, the with the bag of rental blankets and ask me if I had rented blankets.Christopher M.

Your app website doesn't work for check in or check out. It asks for location but doesn't work on my phone or my friends. I have location services enabled for the safari and chrome apps. And within the app it's enabled too. But uhaul website complains of not getting location.KENZAN B.

Unprofessional and negative experience with this branch of Uhaul. In the past I have had great experiences with various U-haul centers -- so it was an unpleasant surprise.ELIZA D.
I was sent to 2 pick-up locations that had broken down or missing vehicles. When I went to the Valencia office, the clerk was impatient and rude. I was supposed to receive a 50 $discount for the problems, but that hadn't happened and I spent over 50 $in taxi fares driving to all the different locations I was sent to.EDITH K.
You could stop lying. Your truck was advertised at 19,95 $ + 0,79 $ per mile; this would have resulted in a bill for 53,13 $ (I drove 42 miles.) But you also charged me for an "environmental fee," a "facility fee," a "healthcare surcharge." and a "rental tax." If you cannot afford to rent the truck for 19,95 $ & 0,79 $ per mile, and find that you need 20 $more to continue operating profitably, the adult thing to do would be to advertise the truck at 39,95 $--not make up ludicrous fees and hope that your clients are too stupid to notice that you do not, in fact, have rentals on offer at 19,95 $ It's a pleasure to do business with honest people; that's what I'll do next time. You might try being honest, rather than insulting your customers as you have done today.Edward R.

I would never use this location again nor would recommend it to anyone. The employees there are unprofessional and deceitful. I was not giving accurate information and they were trying to charge hidden fees. Also there was some young punk kid, maybe 12 years old being very rude and disrespectful. You guys need a much more professional crew to run this location, especially that this location is considered a downtown location and you even charge a premium fee to use it.VICTOR H.

The lock on my vehicle's door latch was not taken off before I exited the location. I didn't realize this until I got to my house to start loading up the truck.
