When we arrived the computers were “down” so it took forever to get the uhaul that we reserved. Also when dropping off the truck it was a hassle bc the guy was a bit rude at explaining the prices .

Super slow at the counter. 5 deep at 1 point at 10 in the morning. guy behind the counter was trying to work on some personal business with a potential client. The dude from NY hooking up the trailers was great though.

I ordered a small trailer. Was sent to another dealer for pickup. Order was input as a small truck and I had to return to original dealer for the trailer.

Everyone was professional, courteous and helpful at the location. The issue I had was with the app and the e-pick up. While the concept is awesome and would save people a lot of time and aggravation, it is annoying that one runs a smidge late due to accidents/traffic, than what the reservation is set up for, it gets cancelled. I can understand the reason why, as I am sure a lot of folks never show up to pick up their reserved truck(s), however, customers need to be notified by an automated call, or something, in case they are running late. Thankfully, the folks at the location just opened the doors and were kind enough to help out. Everything else was fine.

The person who helped with my reservation asked that if I was going to be late returning the truck to give a courtesy call ahead of time. When I realized Inwould be late, I called and was informed my wait time to talknto someone would be 15mins, but offered that there was a Let's Chat option on the site. Once I found the option and initiated contact I still had to wait 10mins before someone responded. I explained my situation to which the man replied he couldnt do anything about my reservation another family already reserved the truck and i needed to return it on time or call another #which he provided. I called that #, spoke to a female who placed me on hold btwn 5-10mins and informed the return policy was for 24hrs. My only issue with this whole experience is the wait time with the Let's Chat option, the fact that it took me 10mins to find the Let's Chat option and thebfact that Brandon from Let's Chat was what I deemed to be short in response and either he lacked knowledge of the 24hr return policy or didn't care to share and just provided me with the wrong answer to rush me off of Let's Chat as it took him 10mins to respond to beging with. His lack of professionalism in the situation was my only issue other than that an awesome job was done by everyone else who helped me. And I think wait times (if these are in fact the standard wait times) could be better managed by maybe hiring more staff to provide customer service cia via phone and the let's chat option.

Experience was excellent. The part I found odd was the photographing by cell phone of front and back of Driver License. I do not understand why taking a pic of back side was necessary. The Agent explained to me this was required by Corporate.

I called U-Haul on New Bern Ave yesterday and spoke to a sales rep about renting a10x15x10 space. We never received a confirmation, and when I called back I was told there was no reservation!!

Contract should allow for partial refund if the move-out occurs before the end of the current monthly period. I paid an entire month's rent and used the unit only three days into the current period.
