The shop was late opening so we were running late to begin with. We didn't check the interior of the truck before we left, the associate said it was clean and we took her at her word. When we returned our one-way rental 6 hours later, we were charged a 25 $cleaning fee because there was dog hair throughout the cab of the truck. We did not move a dog; only had the truck 6 hours to move an apartment from one city to another. We had no recourse but to pay the cleaning fee because we did not check ourselves. Lesson learned, I suppose it could have been worse. Overall, the move was smooth, the equipment functioned as it should, the initial cost was reasonable, so, in our case, just this particular Raleigh, NC location was troublesome.

I rented to go from Raleigh nc to Houston when I got to Fayetteville nc had to get road side assistance to change BALD TIRE as truck kept sliding, (waited 3 hr for road assurance to arrive) as well as strap on tow would not stay on my car wheel. Uhaul GILLESPIE RD Fayetteville told me that they are not allowed to touch any tow dollys but could talk me through redoing the straps but wasn't exactly sure how to do it then selves to well. Got 2 hr down the road and strap again was completely off my tire wheel leaving car unsecured and a hazard/ liability waited another 2 hr for road side assistance again to arrive in Florence South Carolina where I was told/ which I recorded the road assistance person uhaul sent stated this is a continuous problem uhaul does not strap the cars correctly! Which he re strapped the wheels and added pins to secure the car for the 17 hour ride! I have rented uhaul multiple times and this was the worst rental experience ever. I have called to report and get resolution to this issue to be given the run around multiple times via toll free number passes me around and leaves me on hold for hours just to pass me to the next person that passes me to the next with no resolve. This has delayed my start date at new job as I arrived late and I spent 1 080 on a rental that was completely unsafe to travel myself and my family and I am extremely upset and will never rent uhaul again.

The AC did not work only blows warm air , The uhaul app at the store I could not get working due to a password issue waited over 45 minutes for someone to answer the phone which they did not . Finally left and called from my home another 45 minute wait was transferred and the phone was hung up . Went to the store the next day and the person there could not help me complete the process to return the van

The customer service was excellent and the transaction was very smooth and fast. The only thing is the truck I received had a dent on the right side passenger door. Any cosmetic issues to the car should be told to the customer so they can know. Also there was a little dirt in the pickup part of the truck the rain made it muddy so my item got dirty. Other than that everything was perfect.

I understand that some one was sick and call out for work that mourningly problem came when I return the truck and two young men were working the store as they were filling some type of order, I ask the to check me out and they did with some added words. But my problem was I left something in the truck that was very important to me and I went back to the location on Monday and left my name and phone number as of today I haven't heard from anyone very disappointed in U-Haul . There has been second message sent to the location today let's see if anyone reaches out to me. I don't want say anything bad about any one but when you say you're going to do some the do it .

All of the staff we spoke to were friendly and polite, if not necessarily knowledgeable, with one exception. One agent was unbelievably rude about a question I had concerning two surprise charges, referring me to the legal department, eventually saying she would not discuss the charges anyway since my daughter had picked up the truck. When I pointed out that the reservation and payment was made by me, and I had received the contract and receipt in question to my email, she still refused to answer any questions. I got ugly, she reciprocated, and when I reminded her I actually was the customer, fairly yelled "that don't make you right !" I would love to hear a recording of the conversation.

You over charged me & i left the key with an attendant to check in the vehicle & you charged me an extra day rate. You also charged me for fuel after I filled the truck back to the level it had been at when i picked it up... on hold now with customer service..

The only negative to my pick up was that my pick up time was before the store was open. I pick up using online method which was great, it worked very well. The inconvenience was that my equipment was parked between other vehicles mainly blocked. I had to maneuver around to get my equipment. Due to my experience as a tractor trailer driver I was able to leave the parking lot with out hitting anything. A less experience driver probably would not be able to get the equipment. My note of advice is that U-haul should make sure that the vehicle is parked in a way that is accessible to drive out.

The app did not activate my camera even after following the instructions to activate the camera. I had to go inside and told your agent that the camera did not work in the app. He proceeded to tell me how to return the truck after hours which required pictures - very frustrating. you need to keep in mind that not everyone will have the latest and greatest cell phone when they are renting your vehicles. Called for assistance which took 45 minutes of my life that I will never get back.

The front left side tire was leaking air and was not properly aligned. Due to this issue, I have to re-schedule the mover and lost the whole day. Did not receive the phone when the truck was fixed.

This is a very busy store and your staff is so less.for instance ,I had to wait for over 40 in just to be served while there were so many client behind .You have one person doing everything all over and it was really annoying .

Unfortunately the online feature for express reservation and check in was not working. I had to wait over 30 minutes to be helped. Furthermore, I was charged a fee for fuel. I do not disagree with a being charge for fuel but an additional 30 $fee is unacceptable especially considering there was no gas at any station.

I as the customer had to detach the trailer from my vehicle. The attendee John show no interest in assisting me at all. The gentleman behind the counter came outside and apologized for John's behavior. I have returned several things to this location and the customer service has been consistently bad when John was the attendee.

I had made a reservation on Sunday but when I arrived at the store the system was down. It would have been nice to have been notified prior to arrival. Is there a way to print out reservations for the next day? I was told that I would be contacted once the system was up so I could reschedule. That did not happen. I finally called yesterday and the young man on duty during the day was very helpful. The pick up went fine. He was very thorough and provided me with excellent customer service. I picked up at 4:00. Kudos to the young man that assisted me.

Dropped off my truck on a Sunday morning going through the proper process on Uhaul's Website. On Tuesday, I received an amended contract saying I dropped off the truck on Monday, and drove it 67 miles, which is nonsense, and also brought on an extra charge of 63,23 $. I called customer service, waited on hold for nearly an hour, was told someone would reach out to me in 24-48 hours. That was a week ago.

No representative came out to check the truck prior and nowhere during the process did it say to check and make sure your rental equipment is in the back of the truck. Come to find out, none of it was, so when I got to the house, it was not there, so had to go back and get it. My only complaint.

I didn't get her name, but the young lady behind the desk - and she has been there on previous times I've used this facility in the past year and a bit longer - is a remarkable person to handle so many customers and maintain her cool and professionalism. She is AWESOME ! give that woman a raise ! Everybody at this facility has been wonderful when I've used them to move (July 2019) or for storage (April 2020 to now).

The facility was not "temperature controlled" as advertised. I was forced to find other accommodations to store my belongings as the U-Haul unit was much too hot. This issue lingered on for 3 weeks and I had no choice but to move my belongings to another storage facility.
