The truck has body damage to it. The original link that I was sent to report the damage didn't work. I had to call customer service to get another link sent to me. They had me listed as being in a different truck. The mileage and fuel level wasn't accurate on the truck that I did drive. I spent the first hour making sure that was noted. Then when I drove it the truck was loud and made a noise like rattling metal. It got louder when I pushed on the gas pedal. When I arrived at my destination the guys in the lot told me that the muffler was hanging on the ground. I called Uhaul customer service and they sent a mechanic who said that the catalytic converter had been cut off. He took the rest of the muffler off and put it 8nto the trailer. I called Uhaul again to tell them that this had happened. They said that they weren't sure what to do about it. I had work to do so I left the vehicle parked and when I came back I found messages that said I needed to make a police report. The manager of the Uhaul store says that she checked the truck this morning and the converter was on the truck. Customer service says that if I don't make a police report I'm going to be charged for the damage to the truck. When I took the truck back the manager insisted that the catylitic converter was on the truck when I left to my face. I went out to get my stuff out of the truck and called the police to make the police report. When I came back in the young man that was working at the counter told me that the manager had gone to make a police report herself. He said that 11 catalytic converters had been found to be stolen yesterday and another 2 plus mine last night. That's 14 vandalized trucks in one location amd yet I am still here at the van dyke location waiting on the Detroit police to show up I've been sitting here for almost an hour now. I would have been more accepting of this whole scenario if the manager had just explained what happened and apologized but as of now, I want all of my money returned to my card. I couldn't drive this vehicle. The manager essentially called me a liar when she knew that I wast, I spent my day on the phone with customer service instead of getting my job done. And driving this vehicle was a scary and upsetting experience all by itself.

The 15 foot truck i resevered for 29.99 was not there when i arrived. So I was automatically put into a 20 foot and charged 39.99. I was only moving a sectional couch. The truck was very very loud from the muffler and the engine light was on..when i was driving i had to keep checking the driverside door because it kept opening while i was driving...sad very sad equipment. Not satisfied at all..plus im being charge 20.00 because the web site for returning my truck was not working and when i did get through it kept saying that i didnt have any reservations...

1st: The reserved truck was not there. They gave me a 17ft instead of 20ft, without telling me. I only knew because I went back inside to verify. They said, the 20ft truck was reported stolen, and they don't know why people keep assigning it. 2nd: The truck I got was barely roadworthy. The brakes were almost nonexistent. A reverse light was out. It barely made it up the hill. Thought for sure I was going to roll down the hill backwards like in a movie. I would advise getting that truck serviced. BUT: The staff was helpful and kind.

I don't understand why I was sent way out of my way for my RESERVED truck on the night before to an inconvenient location, when I made my reservation right at the one near my house. There were even several other locations closer and yet I was still sent to that one. Really didn't appreciate that.

I paid for month 2 month, however when I cleaned out storage, I was unable to advise staff due to COVID-19, I stopped making payments...they continued to charge me 3+ months after the fact. Then placed it on my credit before I was ever informed!

I got the worst truck in the world . Plus transmission was acting up on it. The brakes need to fixed. The light on front of truck fell offf had to stop and get it was rusted just sitting on top of truck . Truck was dirty plus it was wrecked all up.and I was 12 minutes late they charged me for a while extra day plus insurance . By the time I left out store truck was gone . So they charged me for a while extra day and rented it out again .SMDH. Worst haul I ever had in 40 years of rental from y'all . Will never rent from uHaul again and definitely won't recommend that store or any other store to nobody. I feel I need to be refunded my whole rental Fee back . Cause of that problem truck especially not charge me for a whole extra day and then added insurance in it also . That truck shoot been even on the road

The truck was okay, it served it's purpose. I had reserved 5 dozen moving blankets, but they only had one set to give me; giving a lame excuse about someone getting there before me, even though I arrived at my pick-up time. I was also very surprised & angry only one staff member was wearing a mask. If we didn't have movers showing up w/in the hour, I would have gone elsewhere. The facility itself is clean, organized, & easy to get in & out of.

The truck was dirty bad the lights were on as if the car was messed up , I had to drive slow to maintain the truck , I wasn't able to bring it back due to me having to move last minute and I know how to drive so I wouldn't mess the truck up but the miles was way over mainly because I had to drive slow

Customer service was excellent. Rented a vehicle carrier to trailer a vehicle to my daughter. Was planning a same day pickup & return, but wife & daughter changed the plans at the the last minute for an overnight stay. Uhaul had no problem switching reservation to a one-way with trailer drop off at daughters location. Personnel at pickup location, Detroit (7mi & Van Dyke) were really great to deal with.

Pre reserved 26 ft truck got 15 ft Truck was beat up inside was filthy this truck had been loaded with tires and car parts and was all greasy and nasty inside the front cab had never been cleaned out or sanitize due to Covid you guys should be very upset with the truck I was rented and I was not offered any type of discount or anything of that nature Are usually rent from a different U-Haul location and I will never go back to the U-Haul location ever again and this is the most disappointing experience I've ever had over the last 30 years using U-Haul

The worst service ever, my truck was sent to another location, I was not supposed to be charged for mileage and I was, customer rep kept trying to convince me. I did not have an appointment at the 101/2 Gratiot in Roseville Mi, the truck that I finally was dirty and empty, an overall terrible experience, will I use U-Haul in the future NO

I'm blown away by this business!! Some of you reading this review may not understand this but anytime I get on the road I pray. So when I picked up the Uhaul I processed to walk around the truck and pray. Well as stopped at the back of the truck and the lady who manages the business saw me as I had my head bowed and asked if f I was alright and I told her yes and what was doing. Well she came over and provided comfort for me!! I just cried!! I was so overwhelmed by that! Not only was I in my truck fast which was clean and ready but she was just so caring about someone she didn't even know. Touched my heart for sure!!! Thanks again Uhaul for coming through!!

The pace of the staff was slow. No one was in any sort of hurry here. When we arrived, despite having a reservation, we were told that our trailer wasn't available here and that we'd have to call corporate. When we did, corporate sent us back inside because the staff here was wrong... our trailer was here. They also didn't really know how to get our trailer attached to our car and were no help in finding the right piece to connect the trailer lights to our foreign-make vehicle. Wouldn't recommend this location to others.

The latch that held the dolly was broken in my truck and the dolly came off and I was charged for it although I didn't use it. I didn't complain because had I checked the back of the truck before I left im sure they would have made note of it but this should be fixed so people aren't getting charged unnecessarily

I have hired a 6”x12” trailer; during the day I had a flat tire on the trailer; there was no spare tire, so I had to call the Uhaul 800 number for service. All this procedure took a long time and waste of working hours and business. I am not sure why a spare tire is not provided, and at least explain about the roadside assistance service in advance

First off the online process was horrible when I arrived at the location which was 10 minutes before they're closing time I was rudely told they could do nothing for me in regards to me not being able to get in the building however an employee let me in and once I walk around to my unit it was not ready however I managed to get in to the unit and store my belongings came back the next morning only to be told that I could only come during store hours due to the card machine not working when I arrive on the second day I could swore I seen a bug not knowing exactly what kind of bug would appear to be a cockroach I immediately go to the office they came they picked up the bug but never told me what it was so now I'm in fear of my belongings being infested what kind of operation is this never in my life have I experienced such a unprofessional situation I will be contacting corporate

When I rented the truck I requested a 15'. While I was in the office I was asked to take a larger truck but would only be charged the for the fifteen foot. That did not happen I was over charged.

I have lived all over this country from Texas, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan and Maryland in all states I used Uhaul to pull my furniture and for storage. This was the worst experience I have ever had.
