I got my Uhaul last night and was waiting to park my car in a customer parking spot (that was being blocked by a employees vehicle while they werent even in a spot, just in front of the building) and when I finally was able to park they closed and right when I pulled out of the parking lot the "50 Miles Until Empty" light came on the dash.

Gabriele S.Picking up was a pain. They said we were required to have our cell phones to use a texted link to pick up the truck, and my second driver didn't have his phone with him. It caused lots of problems and the woman at the counter was visibly irritated with us and we had to push her to work with us to make it work. (eventually I suggested we make him the primary driver, which did work, but she wasn't very helpful with all this and we had to push.)

Tyrone J.Have a Representative inside the location at all times. I shouldn't have to wait for an employee to return from test driving which took 10 minutes. Also, the manager was very unprofessional to other employees. She called am employee and had him on speaker and cursed him out for telling another employee that he could come in, which was obviously a miscommunication issue. But after hanging up with him she pauses to continue helping me due to an error that was made by her and then goes off and tells all the employees in the building that she "Run this Motherfucka and they do what the fuck she say"! Then after I am taken care of, I proceed to leave and couldn't because she, the manager, decides that she wants to block the entrance. She literally had her car parked in the off position preventing any entry or leaving from this location. The manager at this location needs to properly trained on communicating with her coworkers. However, she was very polite to me and any other customers that came in.

Genesia A.You should not assume your customer is a liar. I rented a truck for 2 days (with 2 reservations) and returned the vehicle in proper condition. Over those 2 days I believe I purchased 5 other things. One of them was a lock that doesn't always respond to the key turning. I asked for a refund and I was told that it was opened and therefore unreturnable. I explained the problem and the woman at the counter took it, closed and opened it a few times and told me it was working. After a lot of back and forth including the other woman at the left counter telling me that it wasn't her problem, I recreated the problem in front of both of the service women while making a video of it. She still told me that I was out of luck, but I could speak with the manager and repeatedly reminded me that it was time for her to go. (Because I arrived at 6:55pm) I called a number on manager Davida Seals card and got the national number instead. The woman that I spoke with told me that she would email the manager Davida Seals and CC me in the email because they are very busy at that time and probably wouldnt answer a call. I have not yet received that email and I waited 30 minitues to speak with her. Uhaul has wasted my time while accusing me of dishonesty and I will be returning everything I purchased with or without a refund, my family will be leaving negative reviews and I will not return to the 7 mile and van dyke location.

Aaron M.Communication was not good at all...I explained why I was renting an pick up truck to uhaul and the location. The truck was not equipped with what I needed..My husband and I could have had a terrible accident pulling our trailer with the truck..I miss a whole day trying to find the right hopkins plug for the truck and ended up spending $28 dollars for one at rv General all the lights were not working so we couldn't leave until the next day...Once we got on the road less than a hour in the trailer was swaying so hard we had to pull over..I called my dad in a panic, he had to drive over a hour to come and hook the trailer up to his truck and pull it...I wanted to leave the uhaul truck on the side of the road but I knew i was responsible for it...I explained my concerns to the manager and she told me that she was going to report the truck stolen because the manager from Fort Street called and told her that her truck was going to Ohio..I was lost because when I rented the truck I told them where I was going and why I was going..Very Disappointed

In particular, the woman who gave me the impression that she worked in management/leadership, was incredibly warm, kind, & helpful. You can come here, get a vehicle, and get out in under 5 minutes. You guys are the best, and I will only be coming back to you!
Jack M.Someone stole my reservation, and I was overcharged. Then I was told I'd be compensated for the inconvenience and I wasn't. I was supposed to charged the 0,59 rate and didn't have to pay for my dolly. I was charged 0,79 and for a dolly they didn't even have.

She was kind but my contract was all screwed up and now I owe uhaul over $900until they figure out my contract and CORRECT DROP OFF TIME AND LOCATION AND RENTAL DAYS! I paid for 4 days of coverage and my contract says I rented truck for 1 day! Why would I pay for 4 days insurance if I only needed thee truck for 24 hrs???????? Even though I returned thee truck 3-4 days late. MY DEPOSIT SHOULDVE COVERED THAT AND LEFT ME WITH A 3$40-$80 balance! NOT $900+. Then Uhaul in Flint said I had truck for 40 days;when in ACTUALITY I HAD IT 8 days!!!! Smh CHECK YALL SECURITY CAMERAS!!!

Then receive invoice in email an email following day and it's way more than expected. Threatened about when to return vehicle and when brought vehicle back as they demanded they came out of building told us to park it in another spot when we were trying to come into building to return keys they locked door and would not let us in and then charged us for an additional day. I have rented plenty of uhauls driving across the USA never seen such unprofessional and rude staff. Now the fees are way more than budgeted for and it's going to affect my card/credit. I will take business elsewhere from now on.

Anita D. | Premières impressionsFirst off the online process was horrible when I arrived at the location which was 10 minutes before they're closing time I was rudely told they could do nothing for me in regards to me not being able to get in the building however an employee let me in and once I walk around to my unit it was not ready however I managed to get in to the unit and store my belongings came back the next morning only to be told that I could only come during store hours due to the card machine not working when I arrive on the second day I could swore I seen a bug not knowing exactly what kind of bug would appear to be a cockroach I immediately go to the office they came they picked up the bug but never told me what it was so now I'm in fear of my belongings being infested what kind of operation is this never in my life have I experienced such a unprofessional situation I will be contacting corporate
