The manager person Ray I was trying to pay cash due to credit card lost. I was told manager was only one who could process cash payment. I was in line awaiting for over 20 minutes. A male customer came in and was going to pay for propane he was in line behind me and finally after several minutes manager came in. He saw the male in the next booth and stated to me he would take care of him because he was paying for propane I was at the facility for over 30 minutes awaiting then manager attended to me I was appalled and felt he discriminated because I was a woman or not important customer. I

Staff were very unpleasant and far from friendly. Acted disgruntled and had a tone of voice as if I was bothering them. The exact same behavior at U-Haul at 12534 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, TX 78217. I will not be using U-haul's services anymore.

My overall experience with uhaul has been terrible and infuriating. It would take a miracle for me to ever even consider using uhaul ever again. I spent over 3 hours on the phone with uhaul and spoke to various people. I made my reservation a week in advance, but they tell me the day before that my pick up location changed to a location 30 minutes away. 30 minutes turns in to an hour there and back. In addition, the guy I spoke to on the phone was being condescending and just restating 30 minutes. He at least repeated it 5 times. I get it is 30 minutes but I had a short period of time to load my 3 bedroom home nearly alone. Rack an additional hour and a half because their app and website wouldn't give me the option to pick up. Plus an additional hour and a half to edit my reservation. Mind you they couldn't even help resolve my issue. I had to call multiple locations and I located what I needed. Then I had to call back to tell them how to fix it. Then instead of transferring me to the correct person after resolving the , my call gets lost and I spent another 30 minutes waiting to restate the fix for my reservation. 1. Update your system for locating equipment 2. Have shorter wait times 3. Have a properly functioning app and website 4. Better customer service

Returning was a complete disaster. Was suppose to be a 24 hour drop at Ace auto repair. No one onsite and gates were chained locked so I could not drop off trucks. I called and left a message. Decided to call U-Haul customer service. I was on hold for 19 minutes. Rep sent me to Austin hey location. Said it's a 24 hour drop center. Center was closed but it was an open parking lot. I left the trucks but there was no where to drop keys off. I called U-Haul customer service again. On hold for 21 minutes. They said to go ahead take keys and return keys next day; I explained I was headed back to Houston and would not be able to return keys in SA until after 4pm but should be able to return the keys by 6pm. Rep said she would note the Reservation and it should not be a problem. Received call from Austin hey center manager threatening to charge me another rental if the keys were no brought in before 5. Manager said because of Covid 19 the drop box for keys was no longer allowed. This makes no sense. It's a mail slot on the door; this defeats the purpose of your contactless return process. I rented a truck at the beginning of September from the location in Cypress, TX and returned the keys in the drop key mail box there. U-Haul has to get the return process smoothed our in SA along with the wait times in customer service.

Carhauler had fender damage. Inner rails at rear of trailer were bent and could have caused tire damage if I had not noted it and bent them back in place before loading.

The truck was a 2006 and trashed out. Seats had tears, steering wheel peeling, truck was missing the catalytic converters and very loud. Transmission was not downshifting well-overall a junk truck. I can't believe a truck that old and ragged out was still in a rental fleet, let alone I don't even think it is street legal missing part of the exhaust system. People at location were ok and well organized

When we first arrived to uhaul the worker who was attending us was rude and very dry when we asked questions ( Abel Morales ). We were not explained the return process at all, when we came back to return to uhaul it was after hours and there was no key drop box. There were locks with a code which was not given to us, which was a major inconvenience after moving all day and having to drive 30 min's there for nothing. When we are able to get the customer service rep for after hours on the phone we were instructed to leave the keys in the truck which we didn't feel comfortable doing because we didn't want to be liable for anything . So we drove the 30 mins home to drive back at 7am to much sure they were able to conduct business without the truck being in the way. Abel was there when we arrived and again he had the same rude dry attitude && then told us that he should of charged us 50 dollars for a convenience fee for dropping off after hours which was never told to us. Overall the experience was not a very good one and I will not recommend this location to anyone.

This location was recommended by a relative and was not a convenient location for me but I thought I would give it a try. The associate originally added a road side service charge that I did not agree to, and after I asked him about the price he took it off my total. The truck was not wiped down or clean. There were finger print and sweat on the seat. The AC did not work in MAX and it was 104 degrees that day. When I returned the truck and told the associate He dismissed my feedback and responded with, “yeah, it happens”. I paid for the use of this truck as well as the mileage and filled up the gas, I expect to receive a clean, working truck. Extremely disappointed

The young man who initiated my rental was extremely rude. Didn't give us a military discount and clearly didn't believe a female could bring the truck back within 6 hours. He left his walker talkie in the truck and didn't say thank you upon it's return. The truck itself had a disintegrating drivers seat, the leather/plastic was stabbing me in the back and legs the entire drive. The steering wheel was clearly not cleanAnd also falling apart- something essential in the current covid times. The truck could not accelerate past 35 mph without shaking and making the worst noises I have ever heard an engine make. I would NEVER rent a truck like this to drive one way in a true move- my most recent move was from Washington state to Texas in July. Overall this was an uncomfortable, overpriced, under maintained rental and I don't believe anyone should have to experience this.

The only problem I had was trying to make a payment in the store with a check had to wait for certain clerk but he forgot bout me took like three people in line before me that walked in after me so I left. Not Happy. I felt discriminated against.

The 24 hour truck use is too stressful. Truck is dirty from the inside coffee spots that were never wiped. Milieage for intown is Very expensive. I should of gone with your competition they had .55 cents mile. $116 for 24 hours 60 Miles too expensive

Customer service for one. The dude who hooked up the trailer must be upset w/ the world. Like I was bothering him for renting a trailer, walked off after the hookup had to call to him and ask hey are we good and he just nodded and kept it moving. I was being more friendly than I should to compensate for his attitude and demeanor.
