Terrible experience. We rented 2 u-boxes for our move out of province. The information from the call centre to the location was not the same causing massive confusion. The store gave away one of our u-boxes to another customer even though we continued to get charged for it and then it took almost 2 weeks to get a refund for it. We would call 2-3 days in advance to have our box accessible for loading and when we got to uHaul they weren't ready and we would be lectured about having to give notice to gain access, even though we were assured a note was made on our file to have them ready. The excuse we always had was "there was a change in management". As soon as we get our u-boxes, I will never deal with Uhaul again. Very disappointing experience when trying to move to a different province is already stressful enough.

For the fuel charge ($13) when return vehicle is not fair, since the fuel range when returning (415km) is much more than the one when receiving (403km).

1) Reimburse my money back. Due to all the changes and cancellations you did, gas and millage charge was promised to be reimbursed and wasn't done. 2) do not cancel or change a reservation the night before. Moving is stressful and uhaul makes it worse 3) do not offer services or product that aren't available.

The cab was dirty. I have video. It should of been sparkling clean cause you know covid??? The steering was sloppy and the uhaul truck was never fixed so it was hard to drive. Like someone didn't look to see if it was ok to drive. It was a pos. 2500 for a pos hard to drive uhaul truck. Not impressed. Took 20 mins just to get checked in. Had to go all the way from Abbotsford to pick it up when it wasn't supposed to be like that. I won't be using uhaul ever again

It was the best option for moving, I was surprised to have all my stuff fitting perfectly into the truck. Returning it was so convenient and fast, I think that you should keep up this level of service.

I booked a 20 foot uhaul a week ago, then come to find out they no longer have a truck for me less than 12 hours before I needed it, even though the reservation was confirmed. I went out of my way and used this specific location because this location said they had the 20 ft truck I needed. They ended up giving me a smaller truck. I couldn't fit everything in the smaller truck they gave me which made me take multiple trips. Not only were the multiple trips inconvenient but way more expensive. They said they would give me $50 credit, but I never received it. I paid more than $50 in gas and KM so not only did the move take twice as long it was almost twice the cost. I'll never use uhaul again

The only thing that was off was the speedometer was in miles per hour. That meant the kilometres per hour numbers are very hard to read. I was early and they processed me right away and offered to let me have the truck till 1pm even though I was only booked till 11:30 am. It was very helpful as I did take longer than expected.

Uhaul's 24/7 share, skip the line system and online check-in is a joke. It doesn't work. Everytime either i have checked-in online or switched to 24/7 system I had to wait in line again as the system couldn't process and again It required to scan the driving license, sign the waivers and go through the questionnaire. My time was.totally wasted.

Had a 10am, 4 hour reservation, got there early to fill out paperwork so I wouldn't be eating into my rental time, women behind the counter told me I had to be back at 330. I explained I have a 4 hour reservation so that I get to truck till 4 and they was that. She put on my slip 330 return, She was using her personal phone looking at social media. I gave her my ID, she didn't even look at it

I was told to return the truck with 3/4 full tank of gas but it was given to me at 1/4 tank of gas. I put $150 worth of gas in the truck but I only used $50 worth of gas. The cargo area light was also not working.

The truck was extremely dirty. Caked on dirt everywhere. Even the seat made my black tights visually dirty and need to be brushed off the back from anywhere that touched the seat as I drove it. If I wasn't in such a hurry I would never have taken such a dirty vehicle. Absolutely disgusting. And in a time of Covid how was that even safe?? And why wasn't the truck inside cabin even wiped down for sanitary reasons? This truck was from the USA as it had American license plate, why wasn't I told that and given the option to rent that or the other trucks available at the time lined up right beside it? I wonder if the other trucks were clean or even sanitary?? Disgusting and disgraceful. I will NEVER rent from uhaul at this location again. This was my second rental in the last 2 months so they lost a good customer.

See comments below on items which can be improved upon. - Location opened late, losing half an hour to an hour of my time because they lost the building keys. - Finding the vehicle was disorganized, and the vehicle was backed into, in contact with the truck behind. - They left the cardboard sign in the front for me to deal with. - There were various signs of damage to the vehicle, and the mirror was broken. - Brakes made a lot of noise. - Returning the vehicle a disorganized. - Fuel efficiency was horrible.

Mice droppings on my wrapped sofa sectional when I moved my furniture out. Not very pleased as rodents can damage to furniture and cases a bad smell. There was no food inside my storage unit.

The location was high volume and for there only being one person he was extremely efficient. I thought I was going to be hours but signed in within 20minutes of arriving and had convenient access to my storage locker.

Everything was perfect with the unit but unfortunately the shared parking lot with the Nissan dealership made it an absolute nightmare trying to drive back too the storage entrance. I'm not sure what's going on there or if it's just temporary.

Can't say enough about the wonderful service received from staff, especially Christie. From beginning to end she was kind and helpful in making our storage needs a seamless experience. I would have rated 5 all the way except the last day the automatic exterior lights weren't working... it was the only time it happened and the staff was looking into the problem immediately. Additionally, access to the storage units from outside was tight a few times due to lots of parked cars and trucks but we managed regardless. Overall this was a great experience and I highly recommend uhaul storage.

The adjacent Honda dealership filled up the shared lane with vehicles stacked multiple levels deep every day, and U Haul trucks were often parked on the other side. This left very little space to maneuver a vehicle, load, unload, etc. Rental truck receiving area was often clogged with trucks coming in, completely blocking the storage unit access. I voiced my concern to two different managers, nothing was done. Access to the storage units was also restricted or blocked completely during a construction project on the Skytrain line (now completed), which made it extremely difficult to load/unload. No compensation, advance warning was provided, nor was there an apology forthcoming for the inconvenience . Waiting for counter service was very slow. Not uncommon to stand in line for 20+ minutes to speak with someone. Staff was friendly, many of the complaints were out of their control (except for the Manager).

Water had leaked into my unit. Destroying my antique ivory screen.... which I paid 3200 for 20 yes ago.... which would have increased the value substantially. Did not feel satisfied with a "shame about your luck" attitude. I was texted the claims number, but was already told by manager that they would not pay that amount. So I guess " shame about my luck "

Two of the people that helped us were awesome. One lady who works at the front desk struggled with giving the correct information, very broken English. So it took way longer than should have.

The access hours should be extended later into the evening. Perhaps to 9-9:30 pm. This would be easier for people who are work later or commute to work and don't get back to community until 6 pm.

Check in and out was easy and getting in to the unit was hassle-free, however a one bedroom apartment does not fit in a 5x6x10. We had to leave 2 large items out (couch and desk).
