I always get the worst van and trucks , this no Air Condition no arm rest , it was hot , not to mention no gas , had to go right to the gas station , My last few rentals had been real bad I think it maybe best to go else where for now on , I have ashma and you gave me a truck with no air , it was very hot had to ride with windows down . I am very disappointed

I had an original pickup at another location and when i got there, There wasn't a trailer available after making the reservation a few weeks in advance. I was really upset with the service overall. When i contacted this location on Broward they were friendly and helped me to get the trailer installed and checked out. I ended up getting a trailer but it was a few hours late and caused a delay on my trip. I know next time to check a few days in advance to ensure the services needed are available.

The original spot at Oakland Park didn't have the trailer so they sent us to Sample Rd which did not have the trailer so then we were sent to W. Broward Blvd. Thankfully they had the trailer. Spent 2 hours on the road and in line trying to finally get it. I definitely feel like we should be compensated in some way with a credit toward what we paid..

The representative was loud and very unprofessional, screamed at me . Told me I didn't have a confirmed reservation and instead of helping me . Talked about me with another customer for calling uhaul customer service line for overbooking . Told me how he could care less about his job and then calmed down after coworker , asked him to stop shouting over her to me . After about 35 minutes of arguing , reservation automatically appeared in system and we were given truck. As a customer service manager point of view , it was a very bad representation of U-Haul brand . I would never again rent from that location , avoid at cost.

Setting up the reservation was very easy. I was late to pick up the rental, the counter person did a very good job at getting me an other truck. The truck was very clean, However the driver seat was a bit low. Returning the truck was very easy too. The rate for the rental was very reasonable and was well within my budget.

Complete incompetents for all employed there. Manager was very rude. Waited 30 minutes to be waited on. Was sent there from my original pick-up location because my reserved vehicle wasn't there.

I made a reservation with U Haul the night before,confirmed it,,drove 2 hours and they lied to me.They did not have my truck., made me wait 6 hours.I would never rent from U Haul again, as they are the worst truck rental bisuness in south florida.They suck and I will file a lawsuit against UHaul for being incompetent,therefore pass it on,they are the worst.

Equipment was clean, however, ALL D-rings on the right side of the trailer were broken. Trailer was needed to properly haul motorcycles on a vacation trip and was not able to properly secure them and had to pull over many times to recheck and resecure the motorcycles taking fun out of the vacation trip. Was also stopped in two different states because the plate was completely missing and light for plate was broken. Will not be renting another trail again.

The staff was very kind and professional and communicated and kept me updated on the delayed truck arrival time. I was pleased with the everything cause I understand something are uncontrollable factor but the team did their best to make the customers happy that had reservations. I forgot the name of the young lady that was working the morning of Friday 5/25 she is amazing her positive attitude makes a difference .

Uhaul.com system is not user-friendly, allow you to reserve vehicle that are not instocks. The employee's at this location are rude and management is never available. I will NEVER rent anything from the location again.

the vehicle has roaches in it. I've used that particular vehicle before and it didn't have them in there then. I think it needs to be fumigated. As to I had to use bug spray to make sure they didn't get into my things. But other than that the van was cleaned.

The lady who checked me out this morning was super nice and has great conversation with the guests however with her being the only one there, it takes an extra long time to get helped. But you hold that I picked up this morning smelled like human urine. You could tell that the inside of the vehicle was freshly wiped down however there's additional opportunity for antibacterial cleanliness.

I made out the initial pickup on the app when I picked it up on the 18th it had less than three quarters but it said three quarters I disputed that I brought it back with more than three quarters and they still tried to charge me for 2 gallons of gas they say they're going to take that off and redo the bill I'll pay my bill once they do that I just think there's a little bit of shenanigans going on with the gas a lot of damage on it that wasn't actually on the initial pick up date I disputed just about everything

The gas needle on the truck did not work so I feel I was cheated as far as the fuel also I did not use the miles that they indicated that I used the young man that took the truck from us was not very nice but Tovoris was very nice and professional I didn't get the other guy's name I wish I did though because he was very rude thank you very much to Tovoris I wish all the other employees could have a nice pleasant sense of humor and professionalism as you as for the guy that record my mileage I'm not happy at all with him and I might go back up there and get his name and email it to your corporate office

I can't remember his name but His First name starts with a T. He is a Black American with a heavy build . This guy was unbelievably Awesome with customer service and just his humility. The Van on the other hand was infested with roaches I do have a video of it if you'd like to see it ( I will not post it or show it to anyone it was just in case you needed proof) it did drive well and it did serve us our purpose so overall it was a good experience just prioritize cleanliness in between customers use because if not for the actual customer service this would have been a really bad experience. God Bless and I pray it gets better

The first person who helped me was obviously having a terrible day, because she had a hissy fit and actually walked away from her post and left me standing there. Eric then came and helped me square everything away and he was very help helpful and professional. I unfortunately remember having a similar experience to this in the past at this very same Uhaul location, possibly even the same person that initially 'helped' me, or just a coincidence that someone else could be just as bad as her.

Everything was smooth. For the truck rental. I had to cancel the storage - had a 10x15 rental and the entrance door was pretty small for my belongings. It wasn't the roll up door.

I advised an employee that the unit has been emptied and the lock has been removed. I have continued to be charged for the unit for the last 3 months and now they have sent it to collections. I have tried time and time again to contact the facility but have been unsuccessful in getting ahold of them. I have been forwarded to a call center and they stated they have left messages and that they would get ahold of me and they never did. I am extremely unhappy with these services. I am not in the area to simply stop in.

Ms. Betty was very friendly and she was extremely helpful to assist me with my accommodations. Ms. Betty is also very detailed orientated in educating me on how to enter the U-Haul storage facility. Ms. Betty also save me time and informed me the steps need to return U-Haul at different location. This process made it very convenient for me regarding I had to travel back out of town.

I've used U-Haul storage three different times and have been completely satisfied with their service each time. I made the mistake of using a cheaper alternative to U-Haul and lost thousands of dollars of artwork when the roof leaked during a heavy rain. That was a costly mistake that I won't make again. The next time I need the a storage facility I will again use U-Haul and recommend you do the same.

The only thing I would suggest is to maybe provide an option for people to assist the movers in unpacking id needed an for the workers to either say yes or no to get an additional pay or tips. I needed one person to assist me in unpacking but the employees were not allowed to assist. I would not mind paying additional cost. Maybe you can implement something similar.

The area I wanted was not accessible for the furniture I wanted and no other space was provided by management . This was overall a disaster. Because no space was available, no space was available and accessible, I had to immediately had to go to Salvation Army to get rid of furniture. I lost $3 000 in furniture. The manager at facility called other Uhaul location, but the answer was the same. No space available. Hence, your computer system and management made false claims about availability of rental space and I paid the price for your mistake.

You told me I would have a storage space. However, the area for storage was cramped and not accessible for putting in furniture. I was not provided the space I requested and I was not provided a larger area that I needed. This was a total failure and I had to get rid of all the furniture. I lost $3 000 of furniture because of your mistake. I will never use or attempted to use facility ever.

Betty was extremely friendly. I wish there was more to say in that regard however, the other women working the front had more than enough attitude to go around. I was rudely yelled at about wearing a mask when entering in spite of two employees who were walking around and through the store repetitively not wearing one. And in spite of the mandate being lifted. During my initial opening of the storage unit and return of the Uhaul the women I was dealing with was grumpy and seemed distracted. Overall, hire more people like Betty who are happy and excited to help you with your needs.

people nice. ALWAYS a line, have to wait EVERY time in Florida. booking the truck was awesome. Very convenient. The storage unit i used had an air conditioning pipe running thru the ceiling. the floor was always wet. Luckily, i could leave that area clear. Also when I went to remove my stuff, they had locked me out and said the reason was I had to use a U-haul purchased lock. I will NEVER use U-haul again for anything until that changes. Your policy sucks!

I was charged for a storage that I was told by the manager that I would not have to pay the the storage that I was moved from and then I was charged for a dolly that I never received and also the manager told me that he would take care of and didn't. So I would never recommend this Uhaul or storage. HORRIBLE

My overall subpar experience at this location can be approved with a better hiring profile. The staff that I've had the most unfortunate interaction with, don't seem to have graduated high school or barely skated by. I understand various unpredictable emotions have been promoted due to the pandemic. However, basic friendly (even if it's fake) communication is so lacking with the staff I've interacted with handling my storage needs. When I first arrived to this location after a lovely drive from Dallas, Texas (with my 6' x 12' Van Trailer attached to my Kia Sportage - contract # 23023104), Alicia Mitchell made a clerical error with my return date. No biggie, it can be resolved and the $80 overcharge was later refunded. My contact person's name was entered incorrectly because Alicia didn't bother to confirm the information. I understand it can be slightly difficult to understand someone who's wearing a mask, if you don't care to try. I'm an epidemiologist and I work in hospitals where we communicate clearly with masks on, while tending to patients lives. She could have turned her screen for me to view the information and confirm its accuracy, or printed out a document to confirm with me but, that's the past. Again, no biggie, but she failed to confirm my access code number. That long drive from Dallas by myself was quite taxing. Here I am ready to unload all my stuff, just need to open the door. But here's Alicia complicating a simple procedure that kindergarteners can do with ease. The issue was later resolved. My last interaction with the staff at this location finally came September 4, 2020. Contract 788052-117382 for all the deets. I had the utmost displeasure to be served by Zaria Johnson. She asked how she could help me and for my name. She located me in her computer and asked me if I knew I had to be there by 12pm. I told her, "no, I just flew in". She replies, "oh you flew here, from where?". Perplexed, not understanding the relevance of this; I tell her "Virginia". She continues, "Oh well you were suppose to be here by 12pm". I chuckle while saying, "well I got here when I got here" and I shrugged my shoulders (It's about 3pm at the time). She directs me to where I can pull my car to, and I remind her (because paying attention is seemingly not a requirement in the hiring profile for the employees I interacted with), that I don't have a car, I have a unit here. Which she should have seen in her system when she located me, but Zaria doesn't do well with paying attention. If she had, she should have been able to conceptualized that I was emptying out unit 1313, transporting those items to the U-Box and moving it to Virginia. Subsequently, she would have informed me that once I empty out my storage unit, utilize that same lock to lock my U-Box when I'm finished. But! That didn't happen. I was not informed I needed to lock the U-Box. When she walked me and my brother to the U-box (after, I suppose, her attempt to chastising me for being "late", not sure - didn't ask didn't care, fresh off the plane and we had a full storage unit to empty; in the 90 degree heat as we walked to their garage, where Zaria showed us where the U-Box is), she removed the velcored tarp from the box, opened the box and said here you go and went back inside. No instructions. No "come back inside to check out or be sure to do this", nothing no instructions whatsoever. So when I received a voice message from the manager Michael Brown the following day - after I returned back home to Virginia, that my U-Box needed a lock, I just knew these mini property managers that work here do not have the proper hiring profile to do this job successfully. I will say that Michael Brown was very attentive and patient when listening to me about my experience with his staff. To remedy the issue with the lock, he provided a lock free of charge for the U-Box, and I made arrangements for the key to be delivered to me. I appreciate him for this and for acknowledging the bad customer service that he wasn't pleased to hear about. It should come as no surprise that I will never return to this location, and even though I live in Virginia, I will most definitely tell others not to come here - if they can avoid it.

Overall it was ok. Too expensive!. Customer Service needs to be revaluation, you have some good pearls, Andrew is a great Customer Service person, but they have some very young girls that aren't good at all. They spend more time in there personal phone, & ignoring customers in line. It used to be a great place before,!

The unit was secure, but not well lit. There is no light in the unit. (2058) The entire staff was WONDERFUL!! The restroom was always clean. I point this out, because I've never seen a restroom THAT CLEAN at a storage facility...Thank You!

After dealing with so many rude people in DC over the past week it was so refreshing and appreciated to deal with Mr. Brown and his staff! Mr. Brown took his time to "tour" the facility and to show me how everything works . I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks U-Haul Broward!

The unit was very small for all that money. I'm disappointed the door had problem from day one. They replaced the doors before I removed my stuff and I found a lamp shade of mine very dirty. Never using your storage facility again.
