I want to call from customer service our headlights didn't work the truck was sputtering and had no power we had to ask for more time because we couldn't even use it at night and got pulled over cuz the headlights were flashing and told to park at the rest of the night then Trenton the assistant manager told me you would give me 25 % off and only charge me for the mileage which was $139 with the 25 % off it would have been about $104 today I was charged $172 after talking to the general manager Owen Hamlin and him telling me that deal is off the table since I wanted to go through customer service to get a full fee waived he also told me he would call me the next day after I drop the truck off in 2 weeks later he just decides to charge me and never gave me a call once and he didn't seem to care after customer service told me they were going to wave all my fees he told me I should have called roadside assistance when Trenton never advised that when I told him I was having lots of problems he told me not to call customer service that they like to try and handle these things inside the office I shouldn't have been charged at all for this experience it was completely terrible and I am expecting a full refund I am not happy at all and I want a call immediately from customer service my number is 2175537503Dax M.

When we picked up the truck no one took us out to it to confirm that it had gas, etc. The Equipment Contract did not have the Fuel Tank level highlighted and the indicator was off--it shows 3/8 of a tank and we took a dashboard picture showing that it was actually at a little over a 1/4 tank. I guess the next time we rent a truck we can show your employees how to check a truck out.Chris B.

They gave me a trailer dolly in which the left signal didn't work. The lady who gave me the equipment, said she would give me a discount for it yet when I returned the equipment, 2 guys in the office yelled at me and said to get out the store and told me that I wasn't gonna get a discount because they think it's my vehicle that has the malfunction.. when clearly the First Lady tried it out and it didn't work. The three main reasons I chose to store my RV at this facility were the security, having a roof over each space and electricity being available to charge the RV battery. I rented this space for 14 months and for most of that time the electric would not work. The GFCI outlet would trip anytime I tried to plug into it. I complained to the local office staff and corporate, but it was never repaired. My RV was brand new (2021) when I started storing it there and never had any problems with my RV tripping other GFCI outlets, so it wasn't my RV causing the problem. I was actually told by another customer that it had always been that way. It was a nice facility other than I may have to replace my battery now since it's been dead for so long.Curtis C. | Expérience générale

I would never recommend anyone use this Uhaul location. I have always promoted uhaul for their professionalism and how well the customer service there is BUT not at this location. The manager was completely rude and was a complete jerk to say the least. If this is how the manager acts, well he's setting a horrible example for his employees and is making the Uhaul brand look extremely bad. When I asked who his boss was he literally told me that they won't care and won't want to speak to me. I am totally appalled by how the manager spoke to me and treated me In front of his employees and other customers. I rented a unit and when I realized it was in the second floor I immediately called to have it switched to ground level. I was put on hold for 30 minuits. At which time I gave up and hung up the phone. I went in to the facility. I asked several. Times if I was going to be charged the first unit and the second unit I wanted to switch to. I was assured I wouldn't be since I had never even gone to that first unit. Today I see I have been charged for both. The email did not tell us the location of the building that we had...the buildings are marked with letters and we did not have a letter in our email nor did the buildings have the locker #s that were available inside of that particular building. We had to go inside and wait to speak to someone..he was very helpful but we would not have been able to figure it out if the facility was not open for business. The overall experience was excellent. Facility clean, grounds clean. Very easy 24 hr access. All interactions with personnel were good experiences. Everyone was pleasant, helpful and informed. There was one incident that was out of the control of the local mngmt that took a while to resolve but was eventually settled to our satisfaction and not something that negatively impacted our choice to use or highly recommend this facility. I'm only bringing this up so you know if there would be a problem it will be taken care of. We used this facility for possibly two years or close to it. Access code didn't work even after checking in at the office. Email from U-Haul did not accurately describe the process for entering the building. Alarm goes off every time storage area is accessed, even when keycard is swiped and accepted and automatic sliding door opens. When I first started moving-in to the storage unit the gentleman at the counter seemed confused and maybe new to the company. I called to inquire about my unit and was informed I did not have a unit. I called my mother who still lives in Springfield so she could get the situation straightened out. We previously rented three different storage units with U-Haul, in the climate controlled part. They were always very clean and well lit, and we did not have one problem with bugs, mice, or anything. We used U-Boxes when we moved, which were a life saver! This is the latest unit we have rented, but we only needed it for a short time. During the pandemic I tried several times to reach someone at the location by phone and email but was unsuccessful. I was able to get ahold of U-Haul but not the direct location that held my storage and was told that I wouldn't be charged any extra fees due to the pandemic and me losing my job. I arrived to pay off my storage and was changed an extra $50 for a lien fee but I was told when I called that I wouldn't have to pay any extra fees and that my storage was never in lien that those messages were automatic. The general manager then gave me his card and said he gets all the emails directly and that I had to pay the fee.
