There was 3 workers when I went to pick up the truck. Still managed to wait about an hour after I had already reserved online. I did not know my exact miles but I told them time frame distance, I ended up paying DOUBLE my estimate. I also couldn't reserve in my town, I had to drive to another town only to find out I had to return truck back to exact location I picked it up from. Over all I spent 3-4 hours and going to two different locations to pick up a truck simply to go pick up a couch cost me $115.00. Never will rent again. Overall between the wait time and what I needed to rent truck for was a complete waste of time and money. I even had to keep the truck a full 24 hours because my wait time was so long between both locations. I had to leave rental to go to work and deal with the stuff I had to do the next day. It seriously was a 3 hour job TOP. Turning into a two days affair.

Provide more customer service representatives. One person to deal with all of the customers on a Sunday is not acceptable. Waiting to rent a trailer when everything was already completed on line was frustrating. Upon returning the trailer, I had to wait additional time until someone was free from the counter to check it back in.

Office staff were polite. The place appeared to be clean and well run. The only complaint I have is someone must have smoked a carton of cigarettes in the pick up truck I rented. After driving 400 miles I was sick to my stomach. I am sure if I would have asked for a different truck they would have made that change for me though so I don't really blame this business for that. They cannot control the incredible rudeness of many smokers. One suggestion however, perhaps they should have aired it out by leaving the windows open and given it a better cleaning. All in all I'd recommend this business though.

The estimated amount of what I was going to pay and what I actually paid was $30 different from each other. Not a single time during my initial rental did they mention that each mile was going to cost me an additional $0.69, it can rack up pretty quickly. I like all the stuff in the store as far as boxes and packaging needs but I don’t know if I see myself renting another vehicle from you guys.

I didn’t have clear instructions on what to do with the 4flat wire harness they used ch my plug on the back of my vehicle. When I dropped of the trailer I put the wire harness in the back of the trailer. Wasn’t sure what else to do with it

I rented a tow dolly. The passenger side ramp lock was worn out and would not stay engaged. I ended up tying it together to keep the ramp from falling down onto the road while I drove.

Picked up car hauler. Inspected the trailer, but didn't look close enough to realize the rachet strap for the passenger side wheel was agreed off to the point where it can't be latched. Noticed it after I drove the trailer to my house and drove my car into the trailer.

I called the regional manager it’s been going on two weeks with no call back. Burlingame Manager was rude and inconsiderate, and not even apologetic for the huge mistake . was given a trailer with a flat tire, bad straps and the hitch was never tightened!!! Drove from 28th st to plainfield without knowing any of this. Pulled the Jeep up onto a trailer, the trailer came off the hitch! And almost hit me. They worst part is The Burlingame Manager didn’t see or comprehend how bad this situation could have played out. Truly unacceptable! Not pleased, also lost over half days work for two people because of this. The manager tried to show me a picture of the hitch hooked up and realized it wasn’t my hitch or vehicle. Uhaul was very unprofessional. The Plainfield location was great. They made sure the trailer was safe for me to use. Replaced everything that wasn’t safe.

Give some helpful tips for driving a truck. Point out the features of the truck such as the On/Off button for driving empty or with a load; how to use the electronics, etc. Point out that you need to read the drop off instructions before you leave the key in the drop box.

Customer service was terrible. The employee that I dealt with didn't seem to know what he was doing and on top of that this employee told me there would be a $ 20 fee per day if I didn't get the trailer turned in on time. That was a lie. I was charged 60 dollars a day.

This was the worst customer service I have recieved in a long time. The guy who rented me the truck was ok but the guy who drove it around actively ignored me. When I dropped it off I had to go inside to get anyone to talk to me. Several people saw me standing by the truck outside and because they had other things to do they avoided me. Just one person saying "hi, I will be with you" or "you can go inside if you can't wait" or something would have been so appreciated. Instead, I felt like an inconvenience and like I had to work to get any help.

Make sure it's ready when using the 24/7 app. I get there and waited 15 minutes after my time to pick it up. Then another 45 minutes because the app kept sending me back to take my picture from my ID. All together I stood in the freezing cold an hour before I left the lot. Then when I returned the truck I tried to return the truck and tried to take a picture of the milage same thing there wasn't enough space for the app to store the picture. Enough was enough
