The cab of the truck was smoky and smells of cigarettes. I did not need a dolly but I like it when the trucks have a dolly and blankets just in case. The truck could be cleaned out better in the cab. Service was friendly when I returned the truck but he seemed like he just wanted to park it right away I didn't even get a chance to tell him that the truck smells like smoke. Though service was speedy and customer service this morning was excellent.
Matthew R.The truck cargo door was frozen shut. "This is Wisconsin," was what the operator said. He did send out a guy to help me get it open. Once we got the door open it would stick hard at 6" open. My shoulder is still sore from having to jerk the door open every time we got into the back. Worst part of the move.

One lie after another, took forever to get to talk to someone, and no refund even if you provide proof they screwed up. Never rent from them again

Don't give me a U-Haul with less than 1/4 tank of gas. And then expect me to play a guessing game of how to return it like that. Give it to me filled all the way up.

josie C.Staff was friendly, but there was a lot of confusion around our reservation. Originally, they couldn't locate it (it was listed in someone else's name). then after found, we needed to make a change from delivery to self delivery, and when we arrived even after having it confirmed, it was still listed as delivery. The staff was always friendly but the whole reservation system seems flawed.
Debbie U.The clerk got the list of equipment we requested wrong, the truck was filthy p, the driver's arm rest and the visor were broken and the gas tank was on “E†though the contract stated it had 1/4 tank of gas. We told the clerk and he said they would reimburse us for $20 but we have yet to see the final bill. Never again. Brought the truck back at 11:30pm on Friday, December 30 and still waiting to be charged.

JOSEPH C.Van smelled like an ash tray. The cargo area was disgusting. Seat belt light stayed on even with the seatbelt on. Side door was jammed and didn't open easily. When the attendant checked me in on the return, he was smoking. No consideration for me (a non-smoker). I knew then why the equipment smelled the way it did. I will not rent from this location again.

I was also charged for the fuel not being “on the tick above 1/4 tank†when we had refilled and returned it to same level. Online return of vehicle did not register we dropped off truck, and we were charged for “check-in†next day, as well as additional day rates.
Carisa T.Staff was very friendly. However, the truck itself had an engine light on during the entire trip. A change oil light also was on the entire trip. A few instances while on the highway the truck was jerking forwards and backwards and I thought the engine was going to fail.

Quote" we did not have the unit she wanted so I just her one" quote." When I expressed my disappointment she was very rude and did not accommodate me at all. Of course I was upset because I had movers there and it was a big inconvenience.had to find another option that lead to sufficiently more miles and time. Please train your atority how to handle customer complaints accordingly especially when it's their error. Thank you uhaul and I will continue business limited..

Than when I complained about her mistake she refused to give me another unit at another place because they in fact did not have the actual space there. So my mover had to reload all the stuff and I was left without anywhere to put my belongings. Of course I was upset I just believe she was totally at fault and should have corrected her mistake. Horrible customer service for management

I called and stated I did not want the climate controlled upgrade. Staff said they documented my refusal to upgrade. I received bill charged at increased rate for upgrade. Multiple attempts to reach manger unsuccessful. No one could find any documentation of my call to refuse upgrade. So after four years of storing I cleared out my storage and would look for another option in the future if needed.
