The girl asked me to fill the fuel when i will return the truck, i paid like 50$ to fill it keep in mind it wasn't filled when I take it. And at the end the guy their told me no need to fill it you need only to return it like it was! I only waste my money because she didn't give me the correct information at morning! And he said we can't pay you the difference I don't like this behavior you need to give us the instructions and explain more!

Had reserved a truck for mobile pickup before location opened. Truck was not set up for mobile pickup so had to wait an hour for location to open. Only for this location open an hour late. The man who came in on his day off deserves a raise but very dissapoint Ed as I had to pay my movers an extra $150 for more time as I got the truck 2,5 hours after I was supposed to.

The automatic key cards weren't working that put us behind an hour and they insisted that we had to get out of there by 5:00 and it was not our fault I understand that you have to keep certain hours but you should make up for lost time when it is not the customers fault.

The whole experience was a shit show. I will never use U-Haul again. I booked a truck along w movers online. Picked up my truck and movers were MIA. My card was charged and U-Haul moving could not help. Said they never received my order and I had to wait for the charge to fall off. I was told I probably typed in the wrong zip code (which I didn't). After booking I was taken to a page saying everything was set. Then I had to pay $600 for last minute movers that could only load the truck (3hrs after it was planned) that evening and next day it rained and had no way of unloading truck. Store was not helpful about me extending truck rental. I was placed on hold for 20minutes multiple times to be told the truck had to be back at a certain time to depart out of state. Then I was instructed to call corporate. I am out over $1000 after booking with U-Haul for $290 originally. I am very upset and would like to be contacted about this situation.

The stupid 800 number got my name wrong Don't know who it was the location couldn't fix it hD I got stopped by police the name was wrong on my rental papers. The people at the location were great the yard man really hustled beyond his job I can tell he really loved his work people inside were confused how that name got connected to my phone and email who ever made that reservation really blew it

Employees are good. That JH is a wreck. The box is beyond cleaning or repair. It makes the whole fleet look bad. Reminds me of the junk trucks in the 1980s.

Staff exceptionally unhelpful and most of the time did not know what was going on. I had a random lock put on my unit which staff lost the keys to and took months to find. When moving out, I reserved a truck and had to go to an entirely difficult location because they lost the keys to the truck. Most staff was very rude during almost every interaction. There were dead roaches everywhere and mice traps. Not to mention they never once answered the phone in my 2 years of using that facility. Worst storage facility around.

After I had a unit broke into and nothing was done by uhaul to find out who broke into it and stole a great deal of things including antique sterling and various other things and damaging an antique lamp and blanket box. While otherwise I have no complaints I won't recommend this location. I paid for all the security which amounted to nothing.

The vehicle that I received was in poor mechanical condition. It was unsafe to drive and was given to me as a "one-way" rental. I spoke to the manager about this, and he didn't care. It took me 2 hours to pick up the vehicle, because they decided at the last minute to rent this one to me… and it was buried in their lot. Then the ride, for over 200 miles, was hell. I do not recommend this store, because they do not care about their customers! I spent almost $400, and was refunded only $172… not even half, for my inconvenience. Neither did he apologize. He was very defensive. The mgr named "Junior" has very poor customer service and he's rude. Beware!!

The truck was broken. The driver door was broken, can't open once it's locked so you have to crawl in through the passenger. The transmission is broken, pedal to the floor on freeway while.it was slowing down, it was horrible. Sounded like it was falling into pieces. I felt like I was driving a wreck!!

If you need insurance to rent, it should say so in the online check in. Learning that I needed to provide my policy number made my check in experience longer than it should've been. In the check in the reps kept referencing insurance & were pointing to a list of things I needed to rent. The list didn't include insurance. Very silly. My van's radio console didn't work. I couldn't see the station, time, etc. I wish you offered a short term rental that isn't based on miles. I drove 40 miles in 2,5 hours, $50. Wish it could be $20 an hour for short term under 3 or 5 hours. No one was there to check in my van. So I again, had to wait in line to return the vehicle.

as i am just getting started driving-- just got on highway getting used to driving a new vehicle--a big 20' box van truck (very different from my tiny sonata), i got a text. i could have ignored it b/c i was driving, but the text kept buzzing in my front pants pocket. i struggled to get the phone out of my pocket to see if the text was an emergency. the text was from uhaul telling me how to check the truck back in. uhaul app texting me when it knows i am getting used to driving an unfamiliar truck (b/c i just checked out minutes earlier) seems a bit irresponsible to my safety

Had bad customer service. Our storage reservation expired. No truck was available,all because of wrong information told by customer service person working the desk when we went to pay fo r reservations. We had boxes ordered,she insisted we didn't and didn't give them to my son; my older son went back in to get them. I have several charges on my bank account that I have no idea what they're for from the night we picked up the truck. When we went to the Uhaul to drop off our belongings in storage unit my boys were there almost 4 hours because there was a family of 13 people and all their kids were playing on the elevator,tying it up. It took an hour to load the truck,we live less than 5 minutes away so there's no reason why they were there so long other than bs.They were blocked in the parking lot. Only two loading docks are open. I'd never use Uhaul again

Allison has a horrible attitude and disposition and she is the gm, so some of her crew just follows her lead. This storage has roaches, one of the most horrible experience I've every had to deal with at this location. I did a self check out when I moved my stuff out of storage got an email confirmation and days later they send another email saying I'm late on my payment and I don't have anything in the unit left it clean just like I found. The only pleasant about the experience were the first two people I dealt with a young women and young man I don't remember their names but other than those 2 everything else was horrible. Just like it says I moved out on 10/3 I didn't I moved out on 9/29

I received an email today stating that you're sorry to lose my business! I am not understanding why I'm receiving this because I just bought the storage facility last month and have no intentions of taking anything out of the storage facility for at least a year! I called the U-Haul company on Clark Road 6000 Clark Road and they say they do not have a record of me purchasing a Storage facility! There's something terribly wrong going on at this location and I plan to come in later today or tomorrow to speak with a manager because you have several items of mine in the storage facility but you do not have a record of it! When I went in to purchase the storage facility, you actually showed me three different storage units that you thought were empty, but they actually had other peoples items in them! So I should not be surprised that you do not have a record of my storage unit and my items in my storage unit .

May 15, I called reported swipe card and keys stolen..I ask to to Clark storage to secure me. This second time I have rented at Clark UHaul Storage and my belongings were stolen. First time UHaul Storage pretending it was on me. G.M Alison Wallace is at fault. I have made complaints about her .. UHaul ignored my complaint. My storage we as tossed. Cleveland Police were called. I made a report. I call Allison bluff with Cleveland Police about charging me with assault. I have yet to be charged. Clark UHaul Storage allow my posesion to be stolen. I am sure video will show that. I lost 11 pairs of Converse in the box. I lose 3 pairs of Sketchers. My personal information - Social Security Card, birth certificate, Personal data. I never received Free months I was locked out of my storage Fourth of July weekend accused of sleeping in storage a lie.. Chris Sander and Angie Yvonne Sanders of Louisville Kentucky stole swipe card and keys,- Louisville Kentucky Police Report. Allison Wallace tried to pretend I was Homeless Drug Addict with no creditable sleeping in the unit. A lie.. My storage unit was broken into. I went to Mayfield UHaul Storage and rented a truck because I know they Clark was going to keep doing nasty things,they thought I would be stupid enough to rent a truck to move my belongings from them. I was not. Get to Southern Indiana Storage and was able to honestly repack and itemized an assessment of my losses. To me Scott Regional manager covered for Allison Wallace, and I do have pictures and arlo camera footage. of Clark UHaul Storage employee talking to the Sanders. Louisville Kentucky meet Cleveland Ohio. . I am going to write a detailed report for Corporate UHaul in Arizona.. I took a lost at the hands of thirsty UHaul Storage employee..I not got in to be compensated. UHaul Storage Clark will lie

The elevators are too small to move furniture in. I was told the unit I was renting would be able to hold a couple of love seats and dressers. This was not true there's no way I could have have gotten another love seat or dresser in there. Thankfully I was the only person moving into storage because having only one small elevator is a bit ridiculous.

One of the problems I had was more my fault than anything. I did not realize I ordered an upper unit. The website should explain what an upper locker is better. Which is a unit on top of another unit. It made it kinda hard to store one item of my in it so I had to leave it behind. The other issue I had was to use my unit. I have to use a rolling steps. Which is fine but the steps are horrible and does not want to roll easily. I had to literally drag it to my unit due to the wheels don't work. Other then that it was great

The late fees are out of control, 3 days after payment is due the charge you a late fee of $15 and after that they keep charging more and more. I paid extra to have access 24 hours which was a wasted of money because they lock and block the big doors so don't expect to be able to move anything after hour

Since i didnt finish the whole month out as i moved before my next payment date would i get prorated for the time i didnt use? I had an amazing experience here though and it was convenient for the time I needed the unit and the people working there were helpful with any questions i had and the experience itself was superb the 5 stars does not do it justice as i feel it deserves more.

The information location person had was incorrect. The elevator was not functioning. The ladder they have would not lock and it was very scary to climb up on that as it kept moving. It was not very easy to bring the stuff down from different floors. The front desk asked to come another day as manager was not there at the facility. I would not recommend this location to others.

I spoke to multiple people regarding my storage unit who were all really helpful during the booking process but on arrival, Allison Wallace , the manager from the Clark Ave site was simply AMAZING . She made my whole move in to the storage unit so seamless. Took the extra effort to walk us down to the unit to show us around and gave me another unit that was not as far to walk to when she realized there was another one open without me even asking . She gave me her personal number to call her if I needed anything and got me refunded an amount that I was incorrectly billed by one of the other workers in just a few hrs. All of this while on her day off. We are super impressed by her . Great to know that they have a responsible, efficient ,and caring manager who can get the job done!

I am dissatisfied with the truck rental 100 % they should have never let me pull off the lot with the tire the way it was and I didn't even notice it until I pulled into your facility and I spoke with one of your employees and they guided me what to do and have not compensated me none for me driving around a vehicle that could have been me and my kids is life so for truck rental probably not I won't recommend nobody but definitely for storage

They take forever because only one person at the counter is actually taking care of the customer, 3 times it was the same. Sorry but since a new management and team took over these are following issues I had since about 6 months going back. No help with online access or getting corporate on the phone. Asked several times for the store manager to call me to get due dates changed he never did. Which several times resulted in late payment n being charged a late fee. The store office is always gloomy and not enough lights on are they vampires? Excessive fees during a pandemic when I been renting the one unit for over a year no issues until this new management took over at the Clark location. Crazy thing is too i brought that location 3 other customers 2 whom still have paid rentals there.

I've had this unit for years 2013 recently someone made a mistake and my account is wrong represented as delinquent July, August, 2021 I have the receipts showing paid and the correct amount $69,95 and since the mistake my end date 30th each month,and price is wrong not $ 99 Uhaul said stop and started my storage unit as if was June this yr with wrong price not my fault they messed up, and has not sent me the zero amount,right day, price $69 and my free month proof of Bill email. My reason for not being satisfied is based on the manger who stole our money, She informed us that paying on cash, she could not charge us the taxes and give a discount on labor for insulation, she said her boyfriend does all installments for the hitch and bike racks. She said we moved out when we actually didn't then put our storage unit in someone else name. She was supposed to install a bike hitch on my vehicle and was paid to do so. But gave us the run around and as of this day 07/11/21 it still hasn't been done. I've asked the staff to have the GM give me a call and guess what, He hasn't called me either. If I'm not mistaken his name is Tim/Tom at least that's what I was told when I came over to the store when I found out that the manger had been fired. So no I wouldn't recommend anyone storing at this location. Uhaul don't want to be responsible for me getting my money back or service that was already paid upfront to their manager. They have refused to call me back let known apologize for the misrepresentation of an employee that they hired in my eyes rip people off while they still collect out money. As a customer why am I chasing U-Haul to resolve this issue. They are aware of what was going on and did nothing to help us,

I made my reservation online. When I came to pick up the truck, I had a hard time finding my truck, so I was driving around slowly to find it. As I was driving around slowly a short white woman with a raspy voice appeared at my car window and said "what are you doing?!" She really scared me. I told her what I was doing, and noticed she had a U-Haul shirt on. At first she said "the truck is not here… " I think she walked off at that time… I didn't know what to do, so I kept driving around slowly to find a truck, because the app said The truck was there. She popped up again beside the car and said "the truck is the last one down there. " I drove to the truck, parked in front of the truck, and started taking things out of my car to put in the truck. She appeared again and said something really quickly: I heard her say "… Click that you got the keys… "She quickly walked off. I kept taking items out of my car. That lady appeared again with the keys, and she left. I never saw her again. I arrived later than expected, and it took me longer than expected to put the items in the U-Haul, so I called the UHaul 800 number, and eventually ended up talking to that woman (I didn't expect that: her voice is very distinct: I asked if it was her, to verify and she said it was). I asked her if I could extend my time (I 1st thought I only needed The truck for four hours). She said that technically, I had the truck for 24 hours, "so when you drop off the U-Haul, just make sure you drop it off within 24 hours of the time that you originally signed up for the truck.") I decided to keep the truck for an additional day, so I called the 800 number to change the reservation. When I called, the customer service rep stated there was no record of me having the truck, and that I had canceled the reservation! I had also made arrangements originally to use a storage space at that site. When I came to drop off the truck, it was closed! No one had told me what time the office closed. Fortunately the female Security Guard was there, and was very helpful. I simply left the U-Haul truck where I originally parked it (in front of the propane tank area). The next day, that little white lady and a young man (thin, light brown) were at the desk. They both became quite agitated when I arrived (I arrived about 5-10 minutes before closing) The woman stated that they had to close in two minutes, and there wasn't much she could do. I told her that I had a truck full of furniture, and needed access to the storage space. She became even more agitated: "what's the number of your storage space? " I told her I never received a storage space number. She started moving even faster, and said something like "I don't have a space… I have something on the third floor… " I told her that I would take whatever she had, because I needed something to put the furniture in. She had the young man create a contract, he told me my Storage unit number, gave me a card to check in, and quickly told me about checking in and checking out.… Very quickly… When I walked over to access the storage space, I didn't know what door to go into. So I walked back over to the desk: the young guy was walking away, and never looked up to help me.It was obvious he did not want to talk to me. I roamed around the storage spaces… I was not given a map… I eventually found the space, and it was a space off the ground! It had a plastic green drawstring thing in place of the locker… There was no lock… I noticed all The other locks looked the same… No one discussed anything about the U-Haul locks (I have never rented storage space from U-Haul before). I called the next day, and spoke with someone on the phone (I Think it was José). He was very nice, and asked me if I wanted them to move the truck in the bay area. I told him yes. I Think I also told him that I needed a new storage space. Once again, I had arrived just before closing time (I work in Midtown every day, and cannot leave any sooner than I did). I was given a new storage space: 3229. When I went up to access the storage space, 3229 had a lock like all the other storage spaces, and a small red padlock above that one. I was totally confused, and went back down to the front desk. Once again, everyone was gone. The African-American gentleman that works outside was very kind… he wasn't able to help me, but allowed me to talk through all of my frustrations and made me feel better. The rest of the details are fuzzy… I remember trying to call U-Haul through the 800 number again: I was on hold for very long periods of time. I was trying to call during work, and could not stop working, so I would have to hang up and try again later. I eventually got in touch with Michael, who offered a storage space for 30 days for free (which was my original agreement online). I got the lock Friday, and Moved my items in Sat

I had my things in a storage unit here almost a year. I never had one problem with any of the options or any of the workers here. They will get my patronage again in the future for sure. The workers were great and always helpful and down to earth. The place was always clean and never had a leak or anything.

I reserved a unit online a week before I moved. I was given a confirmation number a guaranteed my size unit was available on the date I needed it. I show up with a 15 foot truck fully packed and was told the unit I RESERVED A WEEK BEFOREHAND!!! was not available and they would give me a smaller one so at this point even though it was to small I had to take it. I go to the unit they give me and it is obviously in use already! I go back again and this time I am told I guess we do not have any. Oh well. All this bull**** took over an hour to go down and not once was I given an explanation or an apology for the utter incompetence of these people running this place...Appalling in the extreme and if this is the way they treat paying customers horribly disgusting. This should have been handled in a professional manner instead I got...oops my bad

The facility had lots of size options. However, the height of 6' seems limiting for tall items. Also, the facility is so big, that our unit was one of the farthest. Having to cart items from our vehicle was not very convenient.

First I paid for 24 hour entry and couldn't use it and I told them and had it removed from my account and asked to be credited to my account and haven't heard anything then I moved from 1 unit to another and closed the account for the 1st unit and was told I would be given this month's charge will be refunded back to my card and after 3 business days and a weekend I haven't received the money yet, other than the money problems I love renting a unit at this storage facility and the staff is great.

It took a minute to find a ladder to get to my unit only to find out the ladder was not stable at all. I couldn't get the lock on and had to go all the way to the sales part of U-Haul to find someone . Long story short I got to the facility around 6:20ish(pm)It was closed. Then 30-40 mins later and calling the number on the box that no one answered, I finally figured out how to get in cause it wasn't explained throughly.. Then after finding my unit it was locked.. tried calling no answer.. I was tired so I seen the storage directly across was available so I used it.. then leaving the alarm went off and I couldn't sign out. It was a horrible experience. The manager didn't do enuff for my time and experience.. jus brushed it off and told them to rewrite my paperwork, and cut the lock off.. But the rest of the staff was great.

I had a good experience keeping my belongings here, the unit was clean, secure, and easy to access. My only complaint would be that the elevator is quite old and slow and there is only one so if multiple people are there at the same time it takes a pretty long time to get your things in/out.

Representative that checked in me in was friendly however after check in , the person who was assigned to give truck to me never did , had me waiting for truck , he left truck running for over 10 mins at side parking and I had to go in to ask for truck . I called in 30 mins before truck was due to be returned stating I was going to be late to return even though I was on premises storing my things and at time of return was 15 minutes late was never told by anyone that I was going to be charged a 2nd day charge rental. The rep was rude and stated come back or call 800 number because supervisor was not there and she couldn't do anything about it ....not friendly or apologetic just brushed me off

The fact that when you rent a storage unit and move out you don't get your money back for the part of the month you didn't use is a complete crock of poop. But that is on Corporate U-haul. Everyone at the facility is amazing. But because of that one issue, I can't recommend this company to others for storage. Fudging numbers like that shows that the company isn't stable enough to rely on and I wouldn't want a friend to have something in storage when the company goes under.

I WAS NOT informed that my unit would be 6 ft above the ground and I would have to carry my heavy stuff up stairs. The unit DID NOT have an included lock like the website said so I was forced to buy one. Overall an awful experience this will be my last year using uhaul.
